imagine waking up in the morning while being shocked by Pavlock but to close it, you must stand on the ruggie for 30 seconds and then turn of the wheel alarm that has gone into the corner of your room... ITS REAL ADREALINE
He probably made the vid last year. Takes them like a week from finishing the video to upload time. still though, he should have been thinking ahead I guess.
I don't know why that mistake was made, they have a tight upload schedule and plan weeks ahead when any given video will be uploaded. My guess is the unplaned iJustine house tour 2 weeks ago pushed this one out of it's place.
It’s not a mistake. This video was technically public on floatplane one week ago (while still in 2017). The RU-vid upload schedule is always delayed by one week.
To be fair, if I didn't know the "bedroom" was part of a set, it doesn't jump out to me THAT much other than the fact that there are two different people sleeping in the bed. Also I actually haven't heard Linus sound mad like this true or fake, but yeah it's pretty obvious especially after the "yeah, obviously that didn't work at all" with a huge smile.
I want an alarm clock that starts playing the emoji movie in every tv in the house so I have to go turn it off and give the emoji a 50 word 1 star review before it stops beeping
Zach Brown get a Raspberry Pi and get to Workshop then :-D And better make it so you have to use different words each time otherwise the reviews would just be "shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit ....."
My best idea for getting up is having a coffee machine with a timer set up in my basement with no cup underneath it, just a piece of plastic that shoots the coffee all over the floor, so I either get up on time with a hot cup of coffee or sleep in til my roommates come to kill me
I've got the Phillips wakeup light and absolutely love it! Really helps me get to sleep, wake up, and makes an excellent lamp. Not to mention the most user-friendly alarm clock I've ever used.

I've been using the Phillips alarm for a bit over a year. It's absolutely one of the best "gadgets" I've ever owned. I used to be able to sleep through three separate alarm clocks, to the point where I was regularly missing classes or work. The light legitimately makes you wake up feeling rested even if your sleep schedule sucks. They have a few different models at different price levels. I sincerely recommend getting one if you struggle with early mornings, or would just like to switch out the harsh beeps for some happy bird sounds.
Yeah, but maybe they dont know exactly which video will come out first. They most likely do mulitple video projects at a time and which ever comes out first comes out first. Because they could have a video where they say "2018" and one that they say "2017" but the one with the "2018" could of been finished editing before the "2017" way for random reasons and just uploaded that one instead of being behind on their upload schedual.
For the True Hardcore sleepers we need The Hue Bulb, The Watch, and The Alarm Matt, So we can feel the shock as we take the Dragon Ball Stance, charging our Kamehameha in the Sunrise.
Wake-up light works the best so far (With radio and a really annoying station) - but it's not certain, and does not work at all during summer without dark curtains
I definitely waking up way better since i got philips hue lights that wake me up with turning on and increasing the light until they reach 100%. Pretty much like the philips light shown here :)
TTrevolverheldTT using this + a MiFit vibrating in light sleep + bought a stiffer mattress thats what I needed. Still not perfect, so I need a real alarm clock on tight days
Jeroen Bollen Used to work nights, I guess? I was able to be woken up by lights on until I was on a night shift gig. Haven't been bothered by it, since.
No, it’s not. The largest delay is 24 hours... ITS JANUARY 3RD. Unless Linus is magically behind by 3 whole days(which is literally impossible) Then it is NOT 2017 where he is.
SCWfan06 But it’s still not, and yes I do understand it was just a mistake in the video(not future planning) but this comment wasnt making fun of it and stuff like the other ones were.
August Ackerman So are you suggesting that not being able to sleep is a good thing..? Because otherwise that doesn't make a lot of sense, I mean it's not as if I was bragging about being able to wake up in the morning.
4:10 I gasped, thought it was a rectal inserted alarm you can't ignore. Then I realized it was a watch and I had relief, but then questioning where my mind is at.
@@filiareiner5490 I found a slimmer model. It was way cooler and had curves in all the right places too! My last desktop affair just could not chill out ya know!

Christopher Lefont no it won't...it will just be like unplugging something from a USB port, you're just severing a connection. Antenna don't output a current, they receive one generated by radio signals.
I actually appreciate the light one. I had gotten a bluetooth lightbulb that set to turn on at a certain time every morning, and that bulb can slowly brighten if you choose to. Definitely helped me a lot and was worth the $15-$30
5:51 - I recently made a custom wakeup light by installing a few small ceiling lamps right outside my bedroom window. They come on in sequence of warmest color to whitest color to simulate sunrise. I just used cheap plug-in timers to control them. They are so convincing that the first couple days I had them going, when I groggily walked out of my bedroom to find the rest of the house still dark, I was confused as heck until I remembered the bedroom window light was fake.
Oh my god am I glad I found this gem. I'm in tears from laughing at the part at 4:39 lol "Oh, mhh yup okay that's good, yup, ok I'm awake, I'm awake...Jesus"
I got that make your own Rube Goldberg kit as a Christmas gift when I was a kid. Hands down the best toy I ever had. I still set it up and play with it occasionally.
Would love a revisit here. I recently got a Phillips Wake Up light, but it has a few drawbacks that makes it unusual as an alarm clock (forgetting time on powerloss, randomly resetting brightness, harsh sound, not configurable light time). Heck, even a alarm clock shootout would be awesome (although niche).
I used to have a Clocky. I don’t recommend it if you’re especially functional when you’re half asleep. I would catch it when it rolled off my nightstand and turn it off in my sleep. Only effective method I found was setting whatever alarm I used on the other side of the room and ideally make it more involved to disarm. Example, I used to use RU-vid Alarm set to something loud and annoying with my monitor off. So to turn it off I had to walk (or sprint) across the room, turn on my monitor, and stop it. The more effort you have to actively make, with a little variety, the more likely it would work repeatedly.
We had the Philips wake up light for 2years and here in Quebec it’s a plus in our life! We love it and recommend to everyone we know. And yeah it help to get over seasonal effect.
Whenever he says technology I think of Patrick (from spongebob) say “we have technology” as he proceeds to pick up the monitor and continuously smash it on a dollar bill
Navi Retlav My girlfriend does that with me, to say the least our mornings always end up with me telling her to fuckherself because I want to sleep 5 minutes more.
There was an app thats basically an anonymous social network where someone random calls you thru the app and then you can also change your status to available so the app calls a random person. It was only available on certain countries... Can't remember the name, I'll comment again if I find it
I forgot the name but there's an app that does that every morning, It calls you to a totally random person to wake you up :D it works very well! I tried it once but.....ehm... I was too shy to talk to a total stranger so I just moaned and hung up xD
hahaha I posted the same answer, I was searching for the app, I dunno if its the same we are talking about, its called Wakie, there is even a CNN article talking about it, but if you look it up on the playstore seems they now change it to a talk to a stranger chat, no longer a wake me up but rather a créate a topic and talk to strangers... I guess it was kind creepy for some to have a total stranger waking you up
The Pavlok 2 Alarm is the best alarm clock I have EVER owned. And I am probably the heaviest sleeper on the planet. I very rarely get more then 4 hours sleep. And I cannot afford to be late. I own multiple other alarms, including clocky (i don't use the roll around feature because I have physical challenges and can't be getting on my knees to retrieve it under the dresser/night stand or best, but I like that it has a variable pitch, which is important because when your brain gets used to a specific pitch on your standard alarms, it learns to tune it out for many people). I also own Sonic bomb alarm with vibration pod, and Screaming Meanie (sounds like a smoke alarm), and many others. The Pavlok 2 wrist alarm is the best or me. It takes ome getting used to program / set up in the smart phone app with Blue tooth. But once you get the hang of it, it is easy.
I have the Phillips one, a similar model, it’s not the greatest alarm clock and sometimes doesn’t work properly. However it works pretty well for those early morning shifts.
Doesn't seem to be his forte. For that you need someone like Tech YES City who calls people on the Australian version of Craigslist pretending to be special needs to score the best deals.
Any 1 having trouble getting up should skip all of these, Aslong as your phone supports nfc just buy yourself some nfc tags and get an alarm app that supports nfc. I've gone from 10+ alarms to get up to work to just the one since i have to get up and take my phone to the bathroom to turn the alarm off.
