My grandpa's brother lived up to be a great-great grand father, and to many children, who even remember him. My grandpa lived up to see my sisters became mothers.

If you think being 74 years old with a living parent is amazing.... you haven't heard of Harland Fairweather. He died at the age of 97 years and 4 days (April 15, 1920 - April 19, 2017). His mother outlived him for another 5 months or so, and died on September 15, 2017. She was born on March 10, 1900 which means she was 117 years and 189 days old when she died. 97 years and 4 days is believed to be the oldest age anyone has ever reached with a living parent. Another amazing feat, was that the family who had a world record 7 generations may also have been close to beating the records for being the oldest people alive with living ancestors, specifically, 89 with a living mother (not quite as high as the record of 97 of course), a 70 year old with a living grandmother, a 52 year old with a living great-grandmother, a 33 year old with a living great-great-grandmother, a 15 year old with a living great-great-great-grandmother, and _her_ son who would have been the _only_ person in the world to have a living great-great-great-great-grandmother.
Never knew my great grandmother. Only my grandmother, which she’s turning 91 this June. My grandfather died before I was born from either cancer or kidney failure. We’re not sure what since he had kidney problems before canter came

I knew my great grandma on my dads side until I was 5 I didn’t have any other ones though my great grandpa on my moms side passed away a few months before I was born
If I had a kid at 18 I would also be able to do this. I was 24 when my great grandma passed. My grandparents are young enough to be my parents (they were 40 when I was born and my mom was 19).

@@kylerlemieux9267 you are right. If we start with the 5 year old, then it is her, her mom, her grandma, her great grandma, and her great great grandma. That's 5 generations. No matter though, the video is super adorable! You don't often get to 5 generations, especially all female, so its very sweet that they have this! I wonder if each grandma has their own "grandma" name or if they are all simply grandma!

(2 generations). *Then comes Beth, Rebecca's mom, who is of course Rosie's grandma (That's 3 generations so far) Stay with me here! *Next is Beth's mom, Lona, who is Rebecca's grandmother, and Rosie's Great grandmother (4 generations) *Last is the Hazel, Lona's mother, Beth's grandmother, Rebecca's great grandmother, and Rosie's great-great grandmother (or 2xs Great grandmother). My mother is going to be 64 and her grandkids have kids. She became a great grandmother before hitting 60. I'm the youngest of her children (26) and the oldest of her children is I believe 49 or 50 now. Mom had her first child at 13 I believe.
To have 6 generations living, each lady would have to have their child at age 16, which would make the oldest mum 96. 6 gens would be more possible if the human lifespan increased
The kid is lucky to be alive at the same time as her great great grandma. Not too many people gets to witness their great great grandparents, even great grandparents.
