That set up looks fantastic. I do like all the 'rail' driven options. I've looked at those for a long time. The first time I saw them built commercially was at IKEA. As for my kitchen, I'm happy to be able to hang a couple of trash bags on the wall to hold pots, pans, and silverware. (Ok, it's not that bad, but space is tight).
Well laid out kitchen, and those storage options are amazing. I noticed all your screws were equally spaced; true craftsmanship there. It is that extra touch. Nice work! ❤. I just finished installing the progressa smove slides and I do like them over the Blum. I’m converted 😂
THANK YOU for doing blind corners. I try to explain them to my clients all the time because they are my favorite inside corner base cabinet solution. People just don't understand our geometric constraints as cabinet makers. I'm curious as to why you don't do any pvc banding on the front of your sink apron. Won't you see the maple veneer in the reveals on your false front and doors?
How does the quality and squareness of that brand stack up against Rev A Shelf? It used to be with Rev A shelf, about 1 in every 10-20 units was built out of square or had something going on with it. These days its like every third garbage pullout I do is jacked up in some way. I need to start looking at other options.
I haven’t done enough of them to have a reliable sample size but I’d say the fact that they’re bench-built would lead me to believe they’re being heavily checked before going out.
There’s literally just 1 that has extra space… sometimes symmetry trumps 100% utilization of space. We have matching 18” cabinets on the outsides of the island.
