Sorry I had to switch this one off. It probably got better but much prefer the sessions where the customer allows the fitter to explain the numbers more.

You can tell that Jack is really in tune with his numbers. He seemed a bit hesitant about going to the shorter shaft but the data doesn’t lie. Really enjoyed the back and forth discussion during the session. And what more can be said about the PG fitting process? Simon is a true master of his craft!

If Jack could hit more and talk a touch less, he would get more out of the fitting.

Easiest to adjust for a good player like Jack is to start with the low hanging fruits like grip and ball position. Jack,s grip seems a bit weak and if ball position is moved a hair more forward, his launch will likely have increased once his AoA is upped by + 1~2 degrees. Alternatively is to add a bit of shoulder tilt (Reversed K) setup would encourage him to swing more upwards.

Simon, did you at any point consider trying a 3 wood shaft in the driver head? Just to confirm what you thought would happen?

Hi Simon. When you pull a shaft to lift the balance point higher (eg the change to Tensei Orange early in the fit), are you adding weight to the head to keep swing weight at a consistent number, or just living with whatever the swing weight changes to after the shaft change? I may have missed it, but what was “baseline” swing weight at the start of the session, if there was one?
