My brother had a heart attack last year at the age of 39. He’s fine now, he was working two jobs & barely any sleep. Everyone please take care of yourselves, life is so short.
The first thing after test would be checking his diet. I got home from night of dancing and felt great but getting into bed after the shower as 4 am I felt a sharp pain if breathing and assumed it was a heart attack. I had been a volunteer fireman in a rural volunteer mountain fire department and had seen those symptoms on emergency calls several times and had my girlfriend call emergency services..now live in another country in a city center of a city with 7 mil population. They arrived in 6 minutes and set up a monitor and EKG and concluded it was a heart attack. I have been in good shape, 75 years old and had a hard workout in the gym earlier in the day the specialty heart hospital...lots tests and MRI I was released after 8 days and still felt weak but the pan was gone. I am not a citizen of the country after leaving my native USA 24 years ago so assumed the charges would be very high and it was all free instead. Determined my problem was diet. the emergency hospital cardiologist prescribed Statins since they found an artery with 45% blockage by plaque. That was 5 months ago, feel fine and stopped taking the statins after 3 days and changed my diet completely and at 3 months had another battery of tests that showed there was a 23% blockage, and last week another set of tests and full day monitoring of a wearable EKG revealed 11% blockage. I followed suggestions from this channel and just returned to the gym. So there ARE options but they need to be started before the problem rears it s head. The better diet caused weight gain which I needed anyway...and my thinning hair reversed. Even my erections got stronger. My GF is pleased, she is 42 and happy.
@LongIslandNY-op8su I hope he changed his lifestyle. From a 15 year survivor, I can confidently say that regular exercise that raises the heart rate, eating healthy foods and keeping stress down (meditation works wonders) will help prevent another one. Sending love light and healing vibes to your brother and your entire family. May you all be blessed with good health, love, happiness and prosperity. ✨️🙏💛
I had a silent heart attack 15 years ago at the age of 45 and I had the last symptoms. I felt HORRIBLE and thought I had a stomach flu. Found out 3 months later that I'd had a heart attack. PLEASE heed the message, especially women. We are more prone to have silent heart attacks. May everyone who reads this have a life full of good health, love, happiness and prosperity. 💛
@@olbapoli4074 My wife said the next early afternoon I didn’t look right we went to the hospital and two of my arteries were clogged and I was lucky to be alive according to the cardiologist
Most people might be mistaken by thinking heart attack must be only accompanied with a pain in chest, I also thought that until I was having a heart attack and did not have any sort of pain, I only lacked oxygen and my heart gradually slowed down until it completely stopped beating and went into a cardiac arrest. Only after that I was told that I didn't have the sense of pain in my heart, if i had it then I would have sought help early before going into cardiac arrest. Those moments were horrible but thanks God i am good now.
Women can get pain between the shoulder blades, that's what happened to me. It's a common symptom with women. It was especially happened when I exerted myself, also got the shortness of breath. And failed the stress test at the cardiologist office, went straight to Cath Lab with a 97 and 99% blockage in the LAD (left anterior descending artery), also had a 67% blockage and something on the right. They sent me up to cicu and had a double bypass the next day , onli on my mid forties at the time and never overweight a day in my life just had high cholesterol. Praise the Lord he got me through it and kept me calm even in ambulance.
I had congestive heart failure at age 40 ended up in a coma on life support. Not expected to survive. I have a mechanical aortic valve.was told it would give me 10yrs . Its now been 21 yrs since my valve replacement. I had warning signs i never thought were heart related. Thought it was a bad cold for a couple mos. Learn to listen to your body and know the signs and dont ignore them. I almost waited too long to go to a heart Dr. If your family has a history of heart disease its even more important. May God bless you with good health.🙏
Thx Doc, great reminder.🌺 I know 2 people that had heart attacks that slowly came about over 2 days. Finally they went to the ER, stunned at the diagnosis. Thanking God they are both well today!
My mom been complaining of these for couple of days. Thinking it’s the vaccine. She said had pain in her shoulder so bad she’s crying. Tried a sauna and massage. She’s in her early 70’s. Works out regularly. Now says she gets tired easily. I will get her checked!
Barbara O'Neill says to take cayenne pepper if you think you're having a heart attack because it can open your blood vessels. Also beets or beet juice would be helpful
My husband had a heart attack but carrying pellets up to our house. All he said was he felt dizzy no pain. He went to work the next day drove home earlier that morning we went to the hospital. He spent two weeks trying to get his heart rate down. Once they took him off the IV medication and gave him a pill form of Delt his right rate blood pressure went down to normal. He has no energy anymore he also got cancer last year cancer free now but no energy
I'm a 63 yo female. I just got out of the hospital Jan 10th. Heart attack. My heart stopped 5 times during the first 2 days in the hospital. I was shocked back to life. 100% blockage. And I have a rare electrical problem in my heart. Had a pump going into the groin, then next morning they put in 2 stents. Day before I went home, I got a defibrillator implant. Always ALWAYS take your symptoms seriously!! Even if they are mild and / or only once or twice. It's better to be safe and over cautious than sorry and die. If you're on paxil, go immediately to your doctor and ask to switch to another drug that will be safe for your heart, like cymbalta. - Karin Tolbert
My sister is in the hospital now as she suffered a massive heart attack 2 weeks ago. Fortunately, she was in the hospital when it happened and two doctors were there to help her. It seems like she will pull through..
Doc, remember women have some other symptoms too, like low back pain ,n neck shoulder pains. U should add them to another veido for women. and strokes! do one on mini strokes,n regular strokes. please. Thank U 💖💞
God Bless You. You are one of the most important, beautiful, inspiring, amazing human being on this planet earth. I don’t know what I would do without you. I said a prayer for you today I Said a Prayer for You Today I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard. I felt the answer in my heart Although he spoke no word! I didn't ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn't mind). I asked him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind! I asked that he be near you At the start of each new day; To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way! I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small. But it was for his loving care I prayed the most of all! God Blessings To You and your family
Wow! That’s the poem my mom would say a lot before coming down with Luiebody, dementia, altimers. I didn’t know that I could do CPR on her it I had too. Thanks for sharing this poem for the doctor! It’s a God send for me also. Thanks for this heartfelt poem. No pun intended . Thanks again.
My ex had indigestion, thought it was just spicy food he ate, went to bed, went to work, managed a medical clinic. The nurses sat him down, he was sweating, no pain, just constant indigestion. Nurses took his vitals, called an ambulance, they saved his life, he was stabilized at our local hospital and sent for a quadruple by-pass, but ended up with a triple instead.😊
I had those symptoms last nite was scared I took my lorazapam felt so much better the pain went away im just glad it wasn't a heart attack my anxieties are bad.. thanks Doc. God Bless🙏✝️
I was just about to say that I have some of these symptoms almost everyday because I deal with anxiety but this video just kind of gave me anxiety smh I shouldn't have watched it🤦🏾♀️
Yeah sometimes anxiety and panic attacks can mimic a heart attack but you have to know the difference because even with panic attacks you can have chest pain. So it's always scary.
Just got home after a whirlwind experience when my aortic stenosis became severe. I went into the cath lab for an angiogram and 3 days later I received a new aortic valve, a double bypass, and the surgeon had to reconstruct the aortic root due to severe calcification. I'm 61, my family has familial hypercholesteremia, so it wasn't a complete surprise but it was an extremely intense experience. It almost went south due to excessive bleeding after the calcification in my aortic root was removed. It just bled a lot so my surgeon didn't close me up until later in evening time & they kept me asleep for another 12 hours to help me heal. What a crazy experience, mind-blowing and life changing.
@@yosefvargasx No, the red chilli pepper powder & u can mix it with water any time before consuming. Unlike the Aspirin Cayenne has double effect, it thins the blood at the same time it stoops bleeding. I must mention that I personally benefited from both Cayenne and Curcumin, I already dropped 3,4 heart disease tablets.
What I thought was indigestion severe heartburn upper back pain chest discomfort that would not ease up with meds, turned out to be a heart attack clogged LAD 99%. My tests were not indicating a heart attack, a few trips to the ER for indigestion until a sharp cardiologist listened to my complaining symptoms even though labs didn’t indicate & sent me for a urgent heart cath. I remember her words, I’ve seen this before. Women have different symptoms. Insist they do a cardiac workup. Your body warns you a month before a heart attack. I hope this saves a life. ❤️
My husband was exhausted for 2 months before he had the heart attach. He was still working but feeling so tired all the time more than before. I didnt pick up on it right away but I noticed it. On a hot day he decided to help my mom and cut her hedges, called me and said he didnt feel well he was going home. He never did lawn work so we thought he over did it holding the hedge trimmers cause his arms were hurting . He was breating okay, just very tired , 2nd day ,then the tightness came, he said call 911. Should have picked up on him being exhausted. That exhaustion was the first sign. Get checked by your doctor!
HE does a a full block main artery and 6 yrs later is doing well. Three stints put in . At that time he was hurting all across his chest and down both arms.
Dr Mandel all ur tips are really effective we don't need doctor in our personal lives 🙏🙂😎👍 n all ur tips knowledge can be clearly seen on ur face looking 10-15 years younger than before 🙃
Symptoms can come and go I had 2 heart attacks brushed them of as indigestion the 3rd one didn't go away for 13 hrs in bed with pain.wife took me to Dr. He sent me straight to emergency room. 8 hrs later got 3 stents 3 blockages removed .Because of the delay I got damage to my heart. 7 years ago got deffilabrator.Bout time for another.😊
Symptoms for women are different. They experience abdominal pain. I knew a lady who thought she was having bad indigestion, and she tried antacids etc. and died of a heart attack hours later. Nobody understood that these were heart attack symptoms. Usually only men’s symptoms are taught.
I have high cholesterol so I have done a simple thing that I learned from watching your videos and that is changed my life style and exercise and I have found it really helps and doc 🙏 for educating me with simple things AND YOU SAY YOUR BODY WILL LOVE 💕 YOU AND THE BRIGHTEST SMILE ON YOUR FACE 💯💯💯👍👍
I have high cholesterol too. I am not taking medicine, change my life style. Fasting and go on high fiber, low animal fat, but still feeling unwell. Should I go back to doctor and get lowering cholesterol medicine ?
If I panicked every time I got these symptoms I would have a huge ambulance bill, sometimes I get aches and pains all over the place, my neck, my arms, my chest, my throat, my legs, my head, it's frightening to be breathless and laboring to breath, after I had the flu last month I thought I was a goner coughing and wheezing and not going to the hospital for fear of being isolated and quarantined, trust in hospitals is at an all time low.
Gord Orr I have a problem getting the junk coughed up and out of my lungs 🫁 it’s frustrating because my 8 year old grandson brought this upper respiratory infection from school an his dad ( my son ) caught it an they took anti bionics to rid THERES but my so n so doctor 👩⚕️she wants to do a new blood work up first so she can prescribe prescription medications I refuse to take 🤷♀️ LONG STORY , bottom line I won’t give in to her anymore and now she refuses the medication I do need… Any ideas ? Thank you in advance
@@mistydawn4030 Onions and garlic or a supplement, it's working for me but it seems to be a long process, at least I'm not coughing up mucus anymore but it's still there lurking when I deep breathe.
S/S of HA for women are: pain in center of chest, jaw, neck, one or both arms or epigastric area, shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea, indigestion and cold sweats. I had all of these symptoms.
Yes their is a lot to lookout for just this morning on tv, a young lady only 26 years old had a stroke, it’s sure is frightening, I thank you Dr for putting this video out there it’s good to talk and bring this issue out everywhere through the world, we need to take extra care to help ourselves when possible ❤️
Thank you so much Dr. Mandell , I didn't know about all of them but I knew about a few of them . Thanks for saving life's . You stay Bless and Safe 😇❤💯🙏🏽👵🏽
I suffer from a heart condition, I have went through these episodes many times , there no joke , my advice don't leave it get help or even checked , time saves lifes
THANKS DR. MANDELL. YOU ARE A LIFE-LINE AS FAR AS HUMANS' LIFE IS CONCERNED. WITH LITS OF LOVE, BLESSED WISHES WITH BLESSED PRAYERS FOR EVERYONE ALL AROUND THE WORLD. STAY SAFE. STAY FIT. STAY BLESSED ALWAYS🌺
My son has all the symptoms he goes to the doctor. The doctor says there’s nothing wrong with them.😢 at work. They see him have these episodes they send him home he goes to the ER. They say there’s nothing wrong with him. He gets cold sweats when he has these pains everything you mentioned here and there’s doctors here and BARSTOW, California out in the desert they say there’s nothing wrong with my son.😢 if my son dies I am going to get the best lawyer and their license taken away. They should not be doctors at all.🥵
i can relate to that, ive been having sharp pains in my left side of the chest for the past 15 years. Its been getting worse as i get older, also now i something get a feeling like someone is squeezing my heart in their fist. I also had numbness in my left side of the arm that comes and goes when the sharp pains and squeezing start, i also get dizzy and lighheaded. Went to numerous cardiologist and doctors, and no one can find anything. This one doctor, just said "your young, you have nothing to worry about" at this point, im just lost.
My father had a sudden heart attack, but listening to you, the warning signs were there weeks before. I wish this technology was around in 1986, it could of saved his life 😢
Your describing the after affects of COVID-19 survivors. There is nothing we can do. Just slowly let the heart heal itself through healthy diet and low impact exercises
I've had 3 heart attacks and I don't fear death! I'm not actually concerned about the heart attacks, I'm really concerned about the severe stroke I've got coming to me in my late life
Discomfort and burning sensation around the chest are early signs of heart attack. Always check your sugar and cholesterol level. Normal bp should be around 120/80. Reduce the intake of food that contains high cholesterol.
Ask your doctor for a cardiac scoring test it’s super easy takes five minutes at most hospitals if not covered by insurance it’s between 40 and $50 and it’s worth it!! It’s a simple scan.
@@YoussefDoughmi It’s a simple test that looks inside your heart valves and it will give you a score from 0 to I don’t know how high and that tells you if you need to either take some medication or have some surgery or do nothing at all if you have a perfect score of 0.
I had pain before mine I thought it was my lung and I could hold my breathe for like 30 seconds and exhale and it would help. But I also took a Bayer aspirin and it would help. After walking a good bit I would notice it got worse. I knew I couldn’t live this way and went to the ER my BP was 199/100 and they put me right back in the waiting room where I had a heart attack but didn’t know it. The dr told me to follow up with my PCP and said it was probably pleurisy. Luckily a heart dr meet me in the hallway having a episode and told them they needed to keep me overnight if nothing else but to have a stress test. They did blood work etc and the next morning I was informed I had a heart attack about 8 hours priors so they took me straight to cath lab for stjnts due to 3 2 blocked and 1 60% blocked. Because it was something I had learned fo stop the pain I didn’t take it seriously before. I had almost talked myself out of going to the ER that night and even though they didn’t stop my heart attack which they could have if they had really checked me out.
