I used to be a Bullstrap fanatic. I had every color for the 13 pro. Now that Andar makes the Aspen that covers the bottom, I’m rocking the camel tan and loving 🔥!
All I would ever have was leather cases. I switched over to Phone Rebel cases and never looked back. Buuuuut leather cases do hold a special place in my heart. Thinking about the Andar case.
I have the Apple leather case and your review was spot on. I’ve had it for a year and it looks like crap … the corners have worn the the plastic and I’m not rough with my phone. Ordering a Andar next because I love that leather doesn’t have finger prints like a clear case or pick up lint like silicone.
Andar FTW, wish I wouldn’t have bought my Apple leather case TBH. Andar leather is on a totally different level and actually patinas are instead of slowing wearing paint away like Apple
I picked up the andar aspen for the 14PM in camel tan. Highly recommend it. The leather smell out of the box is amazing and I can tell the patina will be great. Apple leather cases have really gone downhill since the 12PM, patina is just non existent.
Quick update. Andar Aspen case came in and that smell is intoxicating to say the least. I’ve had Apple’s leather cases for years and never had any damage to my phone so if can protect in that regard, I’ll be a happy camper.
Hello! Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it! As far as the leather case for mous goes, I personally love how protective the cases are and you can tell they really put a lot of research and time into that feature but the leather version to me is basically an accent piece to the case rather than a feature. The leather doesn’t fully wrap around the case and they don’t even list what type of leather it is. Anyways that’s just my own opinion, if you love the look and feel, that’s completely up to you! 😄
I often envy apple users just for the sheer amount of option you get with your accessories 😂 I just bought a Sony phone and I seriously can't find ANY leather case at on the market at all for my model!
It's been one year since your video, and a follow-up (assuming the cases have been in practical use all that time) would be appreciated. Honestly, I've watched most of the leather case review videos on RU-vid. A common failing of them all is that they do not show us "practical use scenarios" where the phone accidentally slips out of the pocket and falls onto a hard surface. Concrete and even outside where there are dirt and rocks are common scenarios. In situations where I've seen a case having taken a hit, most of the time the leather cases come out looking the worst. This is why we need to see more reviews that show us how they look. Sure, small, tiny scratches will be fine. But a hard hit may actually rip open the leather. We need to be shown which is the most durable after a few falls. Not falls from 50ft like some nutty RU-vidrs show us. Rather, practical, real world falls, maybe 3-4 times max. Do that, and your leather case review videos will be the cream of the crop!
Thank you! I used to have one on my iPhone X back in the day and yes, that leather is super nice. I’d say it’s about on par with the Andar in that the leather feels super smooth and thick to where you won’t find it peeling off like the Apple cases do. I’ve yet to try the new ones however but I’ve heard great things!
@@hocineted7594 personally not a fan. The Andar one has metal and also just did a review on a new leather case that has a whole aluminum bumper for the same price!
i have 13 pro max . I bought myself a wallet from apple magsafe, black. Do you think I will regret it? There is still time for an exchange or refund. I want to hear your opinion. Thank you
If you’re going for minimal carry, the wallet will be worth it 100% because you’ll be using it everyday. I myself don’t use the MagSafe wallet everyday so it makes less sense for me to keep it but I don’t regret buying it. If I ever do wanna mix it up, then I have this little guy as an option, hope this helps!
I would say the Nomad one since it's just an all leather rubbery build with I believe 10ft drop protection. Also when scratched, it doesn't really mess up the backing. Most leather cases are horrible when it comes to scratch resistance (I mean, it's leather) but I'd say the Nomad one would be the way to go to get the best of both ruggedness and looking like an actual leather case. Hope this helps!
unless it's the phone's logo, I don't think it's a good idea to put the case's company logo. It will look like the phone is made by the case's company at first glance.
