Alot of the Diablo 2 guys have been playing for the past 20 years non stop...lol so it's pretty common knowledge also he didnt use many acronyms at all...all the runes are 3 letters maybe that's what you were hearing.
the most underated cube recipe for new players: 3 magic ring = 1 random magic ammy 3 magic ammy = 1 random magic ring you can get pretty much anything you need very early in the game with this recipe since its rng. thats how I get my early 25%+ mf rings and ammy and my +3 skills ammy

Old school back in the day we didnt have google n wiki or stayed in chat rooms we learned on our own n back then ppl weren't too willing to share what they knew that's what separated em from everyone else
That's always been my biggest problem with runewords - getting runes is the easy part, while finding a proper item and somehow getting proper socken number is crazy...
Takes a few hours of cows to find not just a white AP, DS or MP type armor but a high defense roll with enhanced defense %. It’s rough but then getting the right roll.. they really made it into a good economy because of this.
Thanks for the caster amulet tip. I was struggling through Hell difficulty, especially with my low poison resist. First roll (as a sorceress), I got a caster amulet with +1 barb skills. I thought it was lame at first but then I looked at the poison resist and put it on. I was now full 75 on all resistances for the first time in Hell.
Used two of your recipes Dbrunski loved my results thanks man ! body armor sockets, amulet crafting.. got 4 sockets first roll and made a blood gorget with nice stats level 49 and 10 all res!
The open sockets you generate depend on what lvl the monster was that dropped it. Some monster levels items only drop max of 2 sockets. System works something like that

just found OHM while whatching this vid. on my hc martial art assassin lvl 83. yea. time for chaos claws! it was in lower kurast on random stash. hahaha now finding a +3 death sentry elite claw. haha >>edit just found 2nd OHM in lower kurast from the same corpse i think. thanks dbrunski for the lower kurast tip. this assassin is gonna be a killer.
if you find something like an eth colossus blade and want to make an eth botd dont do this, use the socket quest cause your guaranteed max sockets in the item
@Wandering Wombat i see your point. i enjoy every "bug" that's in the game. including doors not opening on the first click in the maggot lair. I always think of it as your character fighting through the goo.

My god, I've put countless weeks worth of gameplay in this game since I was a child and only today, at 25 years old, did I find out you could clear out sockets- the amount of times I accidentally placed some cheap gem in something and just had to get rid of it... jesus chirst
Wait... that storage is huge! Is this a mod and if so, are these legit cube receipe that can be used on Blizzards servers? I know of 3 different remakes like Project Diablo so just wanted to make sure its doable on Blizzard servers and not something that used elsewhere. Thanks!

So I installed diablo 2 on my pc using the original disc I had from the 90’s and the full rejuvenation recipe for 3 health 3 mana and a gem works for me but 3 partial rejuvenation pots doesn’t work. What am I missing?
I've been playing for 20 years and I only thought the cube combined gems and made the cow level portal. Actually, the last time I played, I don't even think runes existed.
I tried some of these tricks: Like 3 Hel runes +1 chpped diamond=1 Io rune. But it didn't work at all. We are in Battle Net and Ladder Only Characters. Can someone help?
Can someone please help me out with a question. I'm trying to get a 4 socket body armor by using the cube to roll sockets on one. I know the ilvl of the armor needs to be at least 26 in order to get 4 sockets in the cube, I know that nightmare cows has high enough monsters to drop it but im reading online you can only get them from hell. What am I missing?
No, you can’t repair ethereal items using the horadric cube recipe. A rune word needs to use up all the sockets, so a 3 rune word needs to be placed in an item with 3 sockets or it won’t work.
Isn't it better just to use non superior (but perf) bases for runewords? Also do you know how other runewords are effected? Are they all this expensive to repair or just Enigma?
@delosombres Maybe the logic is if you can afford a high-end runeword in a high-end base... you can probably pay for the repairs just like in case of expensive cars lol
I wondered how you can get so high defense stat items (before make runeword)? Can it be upgrade before making runeword? As I know that it can be upgarded for unique and rare item, not normal items.
Okay, I was wondering about the runewords. You are playing with ladder runewords, not the normal ones. Also, your stash is different, so I guess i need to get a different patch first.
10:14 umm I rolled grief and exile several times :D stopped with grief 40/394 but cant get lucky on exile, like 10 times already and it still sucks. It all depends, got eth bugged ST 45@ so I just want to roll high on it.
All them years I played Diablo 2. I even bought and read the hint guide when the game came out. Yet after watching this video feel like I know nothing about this game. Add I have played with level 85 - 90+ wizards etc. Also I find what your saying a little to fast for me. Great Video just the same I think...
I made a fortune trading crafted amulets in the trade lobby games, now with D2R coming,I'm hoping high runes will be uncommon in the game, than non existent.
I have a pirate copy and cannot use the horadric cube... sad... the menu for horadric cube is diferent from yours demonstrated in your video... but it's usefull information, anyway...
I haven't played D2 LOD for 13 years. Watching your videos and others', I saw the D2 LOD has changed so much. We can even add the PlugY MOD to D2 LOD, now. Would you please tell me what to do, to make all my characters to be able to cast "teleport" like the Sorceress? If you have the tutorial video about how to make all your characters to be able to cast "teleport", I would like to watch it.
Shield is Tal + Amn + Perfect Ruby. Could be useful for getting 4os monarchs. (: Not everyone wants to waste their Shenk quest on a shield. I've seen lots of people leave monarchs on the floor because of that.
