I am a HUGE advocate of mom getting up before kids. Even if you don't have any personal or quiet time, just having a cup of coffee in the quiet of the house before a school day can be game changing.
Thank you for resharing this!!! This is my first year homeschooling and I am really excited, but it's a good reminder to keep expectations low and just have fun. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I appreciate this all so much!
I'm hit and miss with the first day of school too. I always remember pictures, but beyond that, sometimes I do something, sometimes I don't. I've been thinking lately, that I need to be in the photos more.
For me the pictures with all the props is just too much, for me simplicity wins! Good tip! I never include myself in pics, my kid looks like an orphan. An old video but so timely. Great video👌
Thank you for tips 4+5. That's exactly what I needed. It's my 1st year homeschooling. Something I've wanted to do for years but being a working mom didn't think was possible. And I'm really excited due to a curriculum called Funschooling I found! I noticed I've been feeling discouraged the last week or so from the negativity and pushback that you got right on the nail. And the SMILE and have fun tip!.... I really needed that reminder. When I'm not smiling nobody else is smiling and no one feels good. Thank you so much for being God's messenger to me today. May you feel the Peace you've given me. God bless you and your family 🤗😁
I totally felt what you said around the 2:22 mark.. haha🎉 #rebelsunite Glad to stumble across your channel. Taking what you said about the gift idea- been feeling that way recently too (: Happy Homeschooling🌳
I love the board game idea! And Mama getting in the pictures! We do pics, gift, fun breakfast, and instead of school work we go on a “field trip” or outing (past couple years it’s been apple picking). We start in September (we take our family vacation beginning of September). But a slow start is on my mind this year. Having first day before vacation. Thank you for these great ideas!!
