i think the Iglu is much to small for cats. Most cats like an big open toilet cats tend to bee pee everywere when they dont like their toilet so be aware about that 🐱🐱🐱

I spent 60 bucks on that rolling litter box which was great for a while then my cat started peeing on my bed. After 2 vet visits and a lot of trial and error I found out she didn't like the litter box. I removed the lid and she was fine. Now I have a 5.00 storage tote from Walmart that works great! #catlogic

Cats don't like covered litter boxes, because when they wee they feel vulnerable. If they were in the wild, they'd want to keep watch on their surroundings and make sure no predators are sneaking up on them while they're weeing.

I started researching, because some of these looked awesome. So, FYI, Bistro renamed itself Catfi and then never delivered product to any of its backers. RollyCat never got enough backers to complete the crowd funding. And Blocks appears to be perpetually sold out. So yeah, you can't buy your cat something that doesn't actually exist.

Very concerned about the first invention- are you worried about your cat when on vacation? Never leave your cat at home alone when you go on holiday!! Get a cat sitter, leave the cat in a cattery or with a friend but never leave them alone longer than a day. It's cruel and what happens if he/she gets trapped somewhere and can't get out?

People leave their cats alone for days even with a Cat sitter; if you vacation a lot a cat sitter will only come by maybe once every other day etc. I have two cats they entertain each other plenty and I have never had any issue with them. Got them as kittens and now they are 5 years old happy and healthy. We use our brains before we leave to ensure nothing dangerous they could get into while we are away and they always have plenty of food and drink. Maybe not all cats are this easy to care for but ours have never had an issue.

Cats are independent creatures and will do fine on their own for a couple days as long as you leave plenty of food water and toys. Thats the best part about owning a cat. Unlike a dog where you either have to board them (SUPER stressful for both you and the dog) or have someone come by twice a day to take them out and feed them, or stay with them constantly if they are troublemakers. You people are paranoid. I leave for weekend trips every now and again and my 3 cats are perfectly happy and healthy. Besides, this first invention bombed and was never released and people are pissed they arent getting their money back

I understand that having a friend come in and look at them to make sure they are ok but not all the time. I have a spoiled little brat but she does fine when I leave for vacation in summer! I do have a friend check in every day but she doesn't stay with her all the time...

¨You should always get two cats. This way, they can play with one another, so you don't need to worry about shit. And if your cat can get trapped somewhere in your home, you haven't really prepared yourself for vacation in the first place.

Jackson Galaxy's suggestion in not using a closed litter box should be mentioned. I get that the smell may be an issue but the aesthetic of litter boxes should not be a thing. They are for the cats not us.

I never had a smelly litter box, and we have the box in our bedroom. It's an open box too. "Sensitive" people should just not own pets if they've got no idea how to care for them.

Adeline Williams I agree!! Cats have no concept of privacy. My Yoda definitely wouldn't use any type of covered litter box. Yes, he does constantly get litter on the floor, but we use a plastic litter mat and vacuum up any litter that gets on the floor. If cats wanted privacy, they wouldn't lick their butts in front of us, lol. I do like the automatic feeder wth facial recognition and the robot ball, and the mice that you can put food inside. It's hunt, catch, kill, eat, groom and then sleep. Those things, plus playtime in between meals and before bed, help to keep cats healthy. Both physically and spiritually.

The one thing I never forget is to feed my cats. Harlequin ambushes me Everytime I get up. She had to have her canned food fix or I'm afraid she might try eating me. Her brother Micah just mooches on her work. As for dry food they pretty much get whatever they want. That's deal as long as they don't get fat. Actually they get most food that they want. Just in tiny bits if it's human food. Micah is a real foodie. I offer tiny bits just to see if he will eat it. Pineapples, oranges, laughy taffy, grape soda, cherry tomatoes are a favorite, etc. It's a good thing he can't tell the difference between a tiny bite and a big bite.

I love the Bistro feeder because I have multiple cats, two of which are obese, while the other is was underweight. If Bistro could limit the amount of food for the obese cats and allow the underweight cat to eat all he wants, that would be fabulous. I can't find this product online, though. Where can it be purchased? I tried the 42ark.com, but it seem they don't have that set up yet.

I guess the boxes were the best. I liked the last one the least since i can do the same with a a cardboard roll of a used up roll of toilet paper or kitchen roll. (Which I actually do with some threads for the cats to entertain them.)

Recently got the nobowl feeding system because my cat would go crazy about an hour before feeding time. Like knock stuff over and constantly jump on me crazy. That problem has completely stopped now. And for those wondering if it gets food all over your house, at least with my cat she eats every piece of kibble up.

It is sad to see cats that can never go out, or smell fresh air; feel the grass. I know it is safe indoors, but surely some live in safe places so the cats can go in and out as they please. We do not live near a road, and I would never allow my cat near one of course, but he does out into the garden. He would get so bored just being in all the time, even though I do play with him, and spoil him rotten. Mine gets best of both worlds.

sunny sim While I have had indoor and outdoor cats I believe indoor is best. Especially if a cat is not fixed. Cats who aren't fixed will wander far and wide in order to mate. Also, the outdoors pose problems like predators (one of my cats was attacked and killed by a dog, another lost his tail to a coyote) and parasites. Outdoor cats will be exposed to fleas and ticks, which can also introduce them to various bacteria and viruses. Cats can also get various intestinal issues, like worms, if they play in the dirt. I'm not saying people shouldn't let their cat outside, they just need to be informed of the potential problems and take them in for more regular check ups with a veterinarian.

I live in an apartment, on the second floor, where a cat can't come and go as he pleases because I can't just install a cat door in the communal door. my lease even states that animals can't be in the public hallways of the building. I also live close to a freeway. So my cat has to stay in. But I think indoor cats can be happy and healthy, as long as you adopt a cat that is not used to roaming around outside (taking an outside cat and forcing it to stay indoors will make him sad) and you provide plenty of space, and challenge and exercise, and maybe even some indoor cat safe plants. I tried to take my cat out on a leash, because I thought, like you, that he would want to be outside, but het didn't like it. he just layed down. and indoors he is happy, and safe.

Ilse I totally agree with you about the outdoor to indoor cat thing. I currently live with my dad in the countryside, my kitty is free to go outside, and he loves rolling in the grass, climbing trees, chasing bugs, sleeping in the bushes etc. I personally would really like to live in the city (the countryside is boring as hell) but I'll never do it whilst my kitty is still alive - taking him from having unlimited outdoor space and then confining him to a small apartment would be cruel and just breaks my heart thinking about it, so looks like I'm stuck here for the time being X3

Exactly! The poopy box are just a bunch of empty boxes. The No Bowl you can make by getting a stuffed rat toy and hollowing it out then sew a patch of fabric to cover the hole, voila you got a hunting toy food container! Dome toilet? Most cats don't even like private enclosed areas for litter boxes. Ask vets and cat behavioral trainers

None of my cats will stick their heads into the bistro food contraption because it puts them in a vulnerable position. That product is made purely for the human owner. The other items are better. I especially like the roboball--I just wish it was a smaller size that cats could pick up, bite and kick when caught--then it would be a truly awesome toy!

Guess the amount of food left in the bowl when you get home after work doesn't matter. The only thing my cat plays with is the milk ring. The expensive toys are ignored. Think I'll stick with that. Easier on my budget. My kitty would love the snap together cardboard tunnels and boxes. Give her a week and they would be completely shredded.

Got a better idea. Don't get a cat or any animal. If another living being is an inconvenience. Don't have one. Get an iPad to entertain you. Lastly, don't abandon your pet at home alone when you go on holiday- leave them at the Kennels or cattery. They have souls and need companionship and ventilation!

Wow. Two products here that promote cat's health by feeding them dried food. Unbelievable. If your cat is obese, it's not because it eats from bowl, it's because you're feeding them dried food. Cats are dessert animals, they don't have thirst drive and they get most of their moisture from their food. Cats fed dried food are chronically dehydrated. Dry food is especially dangerous for male cats since dehydration causes crystals to form in the UT, which is extremely painful and requires surgery. High content of carbs in dried food can lead to obesity and diabetes in cats. If that lady is a real vet, her licence should be revoked.

The connecting box ad nailed it the best. No long winded text nor annoying voice, it uses visual and easily got its message across. Its unique and funny brand and company name definitely leaves a greater and more lasting than the other brands. However the no feed bowl, that invention is not that useful. It could be easily made by cat owners with their own versions of such product. Just get a plastic bottle, cut out a hole, sand the sides of thr hole, fill it with treats. Decorating it is optional. But volia! Here it is, although not as fancy, but it functions the same and id definitely think it has a more economical cost. So the last invention is not as useful.

I can spend like 500$ worth of toys and a bed for my cat and the cat wouldn't give no shots but to play with my shoe lace. But I love her too much I can't say nothing

I would not leave a small ball that moves around the house with a cat if I was not at home. The cat could choke or the ball could lead it to dangerous situations.
