When I had my first baby-it was exactly the time when I found your channel and overnight oatmeal recipes. And carrot cake one was one of my favorites and my son loves it too now. Thank you , Sarah! And congratulations on your precious baby❤️🌹
I want to just say a HUGE thank you, I just discovered your channel and I love it. Your website is a lifesaver and I'm going to start my plans next week. I think a couple of these oatmeals will be on the list! Thank you :)
Great topping ideas. I recently started making a batch of fermented oats at the start of each week for our family of five and I was looking for topping ideas to add to make it a birscher style breakfast. Thanks ! Fermented oats is a great way to go for meal prep, and it removes the phytic acid from the oats and gives you a probiotic brekkie all in one !
I love your recipes. Quick question have you found a way to prepare cooked oatmeal the night before? I have like zero time to cook in morning but hate overnight oats.
Your recipes are my favorite... u always come out with something new that’s worth trying😃 You have made me discover all sought of nuts I didn’t know existed 😀. I do try some of ur recipes but with the minimum ingredients I have on hand 🖐🏽... 😘
Beautiful! And will last up to a month? That is awesome!!! Doesn't look like much time to prep either. ~ I preordered your book as soon as you mentioned it a while ago. I can't wait to get it!! Eeeeee!!!
You have to leave room for water ! Trail mix works for me. I love cranberries to, off meal topics but I add freshly heated cranberries to canned cranberries sauce for turkey, it adds that little bit of tart.
Delicious!!! I wonder how long it will take if I make it with traditional oat? 🤔 trying to skip the stove top and use the oats I already have at home lol
Wow that is amazing! I thought I was weird for not liking bananas but I never heard of a single soul that did not like chocolate! Good for you! Less calories! Chocolate is very addictive, so good thing you don’t like it!
I made up a few jars and tried the apple cinnamon this morning. It was not as flavorful as I expected. Could a bit of salt help? The regular cooking directions would call for salt in the boiling water.
You can also make a big batch of oatmeal with all the fixings you use when eating it. You can change the fixings each time. Then pack it into a container and refrigerate. When you're ready to eat slice off a few pieces of it and pan fry it. Depending on your fixings you may want to add a little maple syrup or honey to it which makes it taste like a dessert. Learned that from The Boss of the Swamp.
Sorry, may I ask after put all ingredients to the jar, just put it aways at room temperature for 1 month then can eat? No need to cook on stove or oven?
As long as it's air-tight and dry, it should be fine in the pantry for a month, provided you follow any expiration guidelines with the ingriediants. When you're ready to eat just add to a bowl with water and microwave, or boil water and add it.
Even for those of us who don't can, a canning funnel is a blessing for messy types like me. I bought my glass jars, plastic lids and funnel at Target, in store and online.
