I happen to like the fact that your Jeep seems like it could be used day to day, in addition to overlanding. For newcomers it could be pretty overwhelming trying to figure out everything you need when you see these completely built out rigs. Great video!

Talking about removing seats, I have removed my rear seats out of my jku, but also removed the passenger and turned it into a dog platform which keep my pup comfortable when on trips, creating even more space underneath the platform itself, and it even triples as an in Jeep sleeping space!

Brad, I'm not an overlander. I kayak camp occasionally. I stumbled on your channel a week or two ago and I find what you guys are doing fascinating. Here is what I like best about your channel...you answer a lot of questions from people who are enthusiasts. Good on ya.

In my 04 TJ I'd take out the back bench and replace it with a plastic bin to hold gear, spare parts, tools, etc. Then I'd bring a cooler with ice to hold water bottles and lunch. My trail rides were only one day at most so no camping gear. But when I get my jl 2dr I plan to do some camping. My friend has a JK 4 door and we plan to do trails and also research some camping gear and tents. This was a great vid! thanks

You can use the 4 inch PVC pipe as a water container and you can mount on top of your Jeep down down the side of the roof rack if you paint it black it will heat the water and you can put Tire valve on it pressure into it look it up on RU-vid is a bunch of videos

Awesome. Loved the Video. I am planning a road life and love the idea of converting an ambulance. But...my first 'car' was a '78 CJ 7 304 v8 Levi (Jeans) Edition. I LOVED that JEEP. So, I am determining whether I want to do the 4x4 Ambulance or Jeep Full Time conversion. This video was, even though it is camping vs Full Time, still extremely helpful. Thank You!

I have not posted any pics on instagram yet, we have 2.5 large breed dogs as kids who camp with us. I recently took the seats out of the back, too many issues for dogs to mention with it folded down. But I built a flat spot where the seat used to be, similar to the goose gear stuff. Since I know you build stuff yourself, it is an easy build. Not taking away from goose gear, their stuff is awesome, I just can't afford it. I do have the vector offload mount. Fun way to carry stuff, GPS Phone, etc. That tent that folds downside the hard top, really intrigues me, that is a good looking way to make the jeep a good camper with out giving up the drivability into the garage. I have a friend who had to take his roof rack off because he can't park his jeep or anything in the driveway overnight. (HOA) but that is a nice option for folks who may have that problem. I love Markos, pressurized water set up, that is cool. I get taking out the rear seat, I have been debating it for over a year now, Bam, I love that its gone. IN the past year, not one person has ridden in the back, good enough for me to realize, I don't need it. it gives you so much more useable room taking it out. Thanks for sharing my friend and have a blessed week. Dale

I have a 4 door JK with the root top tent and fridge on a slider in the back, the Terraflex cargo shelf, all the stuff. But I miss my 2012 2 door JK Rubicon. It was so nimble and easy to off road with compared to my 2016 JKU Rubicon I have now. It used to be just me and my dog and my little Jeep and we went everywhere. A ground tent wasn't comfortable, but it was small and easy. I didn't have the fancy fridge but my sandwich fixings were awesome at the time. I guess I mostly just miss my dog. Shit...I had a point here but now I just miss my dog.

Very nice rigs even though I'm a Grand Cherokee guy. One thing I want to mention since the Jeep is your vehicle, your home at times, and your lifeline and for those reasons I would not use a grill near my vehicle. Personally, I prefer to take my grill away from my Jeep and have a designated cooking section.

Another hit Brad, I love seeing what others are doing for utility and gear for camping out of their Jeeps. I have a 2 door so my space is even more limited. I really want to build an off road trailer with a RTT, my stays are usually more than just overnight so base camp and the jeep unencumbered to go exploring during the day and back to base camp for the night. Keep them coming man, enjoying the content.

Hey Brad. I am in the same boat regarding the rear seats. I think what I will try to do for my setup is a plywood plate in the very back, with the fridge on the one side and a cabinet on the other. Then I'm thinking of putting in a notch of some kind on the side towards the rear seats so I can have a removable plate that will sit on top of the rear seats when folded. I'm a fan of sleeping in my Jeep as I'm RTTless right now.

Hi Brad liking the videos mate I just thought I should say about those roto packs next to your fridge mate I’d leave a bit more room to let your fridge breath. Having stuff so close to it would be using more power as your fridge can’t breath and u run the risk of cooking your fridge 👍🏼

Brad, you can build a platform for your fridge but make the platform 3-4" higher so you can still access the bottom storage area. Should have enough room for your fridge before making contact to your vector platform. Plus you can easily get a foldable table size to fit under the platform. I just finished building mine and looking to build the fridge slide next. Cheers and thanks for sharing this vid. Other than Marco's Jeep setup (which is beyond awesome), I like the idea of the third Jeep with that platform conversion into a table:)

Awesome site. I've been following britelite and trail recon for awhile now. I just subscribed, just realized I hadn't, I'd watch 1 vidio then another ect. So now I'm subscribed. Great site with valuable info. I just got a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4 l automatic ( Im a disabled retired LEO and Veteran age 64 so had to get the auto) and it has 64k original miles, 33 inch tires, bbk 62 mm throttle body, 410 gearing and the only rust underneath was the exhaust. I'm going to get a stainless steel Banks header, magnaflow stainless y connect with free flow cat and a Banks monster cat back stainless steel exhaust. Also the Banks ram air induction. If I saw yours and Britelite I would have got the JL. But I'm going to set this up first and may just keep it. This is my 64th vehicle first Jeep and 6th 4x4 . I've had 16 motorcycles, the last 3 strikes and 1 sidecar set up before the trikes. My Trike is in garage and will be sold soon. It's difficult to strap a Walker on a trike. It was time to go back to 4 wheels and definately a convertible. Happy trails. If you come to the Daytona Bch rally I might just be there. Again great site thanks
