The J2M5 in War Thunder is a Premium Japanese Fighter that has 30mm canons that fire a ridiculously high explosive round.
The J2M5 is fast, climbs quickly and energy fights extremely well. The only problem is, it only has an ammunition capacity of 84 rounds but should you land a decent shot with one of the 30mm shells... the enemy is done for!
The 30mm cannons are hard to lead and obviously you have to be careful with the little ammo you have. It's challenging enough for me to get one or two kills, but I thought it would be fun to try and get 5 anyway!
The J2M5 is actually an amazing plane for Air Realistic Battles, but in Ground Realistic, it's not ideal! :)

It has to do with a new bug, it happens when you load new vehicles into a crew slot. It's fixable by restarting the game.

No excuse for bad servers in this day and age. Everything is so cheap and readily available from broadband to processing power and locations even. Watching these on Christmas morning with a headache to make the day better! 💝

I got an ace once with less than 80 shells... except that was on the Ki-200. Type5 cannons are my favorite WW2 era cannon in the game.

Yo Odd, I'm relatively new to the channel and I can already see you're way advanced of me in terms of skill. What I would say to your missed shots is if you're missing give it a touch more lead or change the aim point, could be slow rounds missing behind. Could also be server/packet loss in which case ignore me. Really enjoying the content, I played regularly before and just after tanks were added and im currently relearning the entire game. Your vids are v useful for fun combos, positioning and aiming knowledge!

I so love it when the ammunation just gets deleted midair or you teleport back when shootin I have yet to know is it the servers or is it my internet (It might be both)

The lag from the servers is increasing. I've also noticed Bad Network Connection and Server Not Responding more often. I get dragged into someone shell just to make the fun so much better. The packet losses you have in the UK might be bad although I'm in Australia and getting close to giving WT away. I'm gone back to level 2 and 3 tanks for some fun. I'll be having fun in my Cromwell's and Sherman or my current German favourite the Tiger H1. I'll forget how to fight in the Conqueror soon. I played today with my WW2 tanks and the EBRs almost wrecked the game. There needs to be a date of manufacture clause added to the BR match making. Lucky for me I faced one with plenty of support to keep him under control and the 50 call on M4A1 could reach over the rock I was getting protection from. Great videos and keep them coming.

I play War Thunder in ULQ ( i5-6200U notebook is all I have nowadays :) ) over a 3G connection in Brazil, quite in the country side. Never seen the ping counter get white. After 6 years of (trying) to play like this, I think I've acquired some sort of clairvoyance for PL & ping jitter.

I still cherry pick matches, though. Like, sometimes my commentary is a bit boring or some bug happened or I got someone TK’d me on purpose and I don’t want them to get a kick out of watching it on a video etc. I also deliberately drive to my death A LOT if the map is bad, it’s foggy or night time etc.

Odd play the M3 GMC! I threw it into my 5.7 lineup for fun and I managed to take out a King Tiger, I'd like to see you give it a try, not that you have to bring it all the way up to 5.7 but nonetheless if you want to that would be pretty fun to watch IMO.

This thing is honestly a little monster once you get a feel for the slow velocity. I use it as much as the captured F4U for SL grinding because it performs as well now that I’ve gotten the hang of it

Hey Odd maybe you like the idea to play the JU 288C as I like to play it: Take her out as a Heavy Fighter instead as a bomber, take position in font of enemy bombers and kill them with your 20mm cannon or turn out heavy fighters and planes like the AU1 and kill them with all you cannons.

That was a fun one. However, I wish I had your problems. I am running FPS 36-54 and PL of 1-5 up to 12. I am good when I get 2-3 kills in a game. It is still fun though. I will keep playing and watching your videos.

Yes, packet loss is horrible. Literally held S once and Packet loss drove me over a defilade right outside of our spawn while the whole enemy team is spawn sniping, so I died pretty quick.

who hates it when your plane textures don't load in also i had a thing where i liked seeing the cockpit damage model, and now with the new update, i never see it. like, its a small thing, but i wish that whenever my fuselage or cockpit were damaged it would show it, even both being black it sometimes doesn't load in.

to know for sure if its your internet connection or the game has connected you to a bad server, measuring your connection in your router which has such functionality is the only way to know for sure. if its not measured, its only a guess
