Corner pins I use the middle arrow as my target. I move my feet farther left on approach for ten pin even with a spare ball. I try and use my strike mark for other spares and just move right or left with my feet.
Theresa's plastic ball is definitely starting to hook at the end of the lane just before the pin deck. It doesn't have the time to really do much, but if you watch closely you can clearly see it turn slightly left a couple of feet from the pin deck and hit the pin dead on the front with no angle. Plastic balls may not hook as much as urethane or reactive resin balls, but that doesn't mean that they won't. They certainly will if the bowler does their part. That said, reactive balls can be thrown straight too with the right release.
I noticed the same thing while watching the video. I'm really confused now because in another video they made they stated you needed to shift your target half an arrow left one time for spares on the left, and half an arrow left each foot movement for spares on the right. Can someone clarify?
I throw similarly to Walter Ray Williams Jr. so I have no bias towards a straighter thought. Why wouldn't you want her to hook as much? Is it because (as I think you stated in the video) there is less error with a straighter shot? If that is the case, why would anyone hook at all besides the fact that it is cool?
