Same here. I thought at first it was one of those annoying sand shark. But then a huge reaper appear and eat my seamoth i have to swim 1km away to my nearest base

Gotta craft that prawn suit and kill it, there’s a glitch with the repair tool that lets you use it inside the prawn suit that can help

There actually is a tool in the game that does just what you want - leaves a breadcrumb trail. I forget what it's called, but check the tools and/or equipment section of the fabricator. I don't even know that I recall finding a blue print for it, so it may be part of the starting blueprint set, but don't quote me on that. Sorry, I don't remember what it's called. I used it a bit, but as soon as you get a bigger air tank, and be sure to follow the rule of thirds (1/3 air to go in, 1/3 of air to get out, leaving 1/3 in reserve), you'll be okay. Also, for these shallower wrecks, you can build a surface air pump and a bunch of pipes for not much titanium. Laying pipes down from even 200 meters up isn't too bad, and you can lay them right into the wreck to have unlimited air and also find your way out. It's really not needed on most wrecks, but it's fine to find an excuse to use the lesser known tools. Final tip, once you have your exterior ragden gowing at your base, put on a base-attached air pump and some tubes going to your garden area, so while you're out tending your plants (slicing and dicing to plant more spores), you can refill on air.

@@transact69 Yes I am using that pump technic whenever I fill too dangerous to come back for air , So I lay down pipes and bring my air with me , Aslo for deeper areas I use temporary base with 1 multiperpose room and 1 bioreactor and base attached pump and pipes for making things easier

Bro I have a really good tip if u want the cyclops fragments.first go near the tail of auoro where reaper leviathan is and build a base aprox 100-150m away from him like just a scanner room and then just scan for fragments use your camera as guides and then scan for the reaper boy.if u have HUD chips u can do this.peace out

I think you can find most, if not all, of the Cyclops bridge and hull fragments scattered around the Mushroom Forest (the one closest to the Aurora, a bit north of the starting Safge Shallows area, not the the North West 'Shroom Foreset). They are just laying about on the sea floor, not in wrecks or debris fields for the most part. It's not a big area, and they are big pieces, so just watch the ground while crusing in your Seamoth and you'll have those in 10 minutes (need to scan three of each). The engine took me longer. I found 1 piece somewhere not long after completing the hull and bridge, but sorry, I don't recall where. For the rest, there is a wreck in the Floating Islands biome. These are the underwater floating islands, not the big one that is floating on the surface - that's on the other side of the map; these are near where the game tells you to go when the Sunbeam is coming in to rescue you, which is just a bit west of the Mushroom Forest I referenced above (I think). You'll know it when you find it - sea floor is deep as shit, but the floating islands are at moderate depths. Anyway, there is a large wreck on one of these floating islands. It's sorta U-shaped and laying on its side (so from above, looks like a U). I'ts at about 190m of depth, and since the sea floor is way below that, and the various floating islands are at different depths, just cruise this area at that depth and check out any islands with a surface depth that match. I expect you'll find it quickly. The bone sharks will freak you out - the area is full of them - and while they will snap at you if you get too close, the seamoth will outrun them while moving. Once at the wreck, I nestled the Seamoth down in the center of the U, backed up against the ship, and was able to swim back and forth to the Seamoth without being molested by the sharks (one did swimin right in behind the Seamoth as I was making a trip back - it totally ignored it and mea, which didn't happen when I had something similar occur somewhere else with a Crabsquid. THAT fucker destroyed my Seamoth (recommend you save when you get to the wreck, though, just in case). Anyway, once at the wreck, I found two Cyclops engine fragments out side on the ground, and also 2 fragments each (which is all you need) of the prawn propulsion, drill, and grapple arm. I think one was outside, the rest inside. Bring your laser cutter - I think I had to cut two doors inside. So a very nice wreck - you can complete the cyclops if you've done the 'shroom forest and found one other engine piece, and also round out the prawn with only the torpedo arm (the least useful, IMHO) remaining. The wreck also has various other things to scan that you may or may not have already found - definitely worth a visit. Best one I've found so far in terms of getting some of the game's main blue prints. Of course, I am not someone who has played this game multiple times, so I can't be sure how random any of the loot is, but from the game's wiki, I get the feeling that most of these major pieces are available in the same spots (always more than one spot, I think) each time. Pathfinder tool will help navigate. Like leaving a bread crumb trail to safety

if you have a scanner room i suggest you use it to find some but small caves tend to have a crap ton of limestone Chunks

Zero point is the dead center of the games map. It's a great place to build a base (for me anyways) and most subnautica guides start there

Yup like jana said ..its dead center of the map..your life pod spawns in random locations throughout the safe shallows so following a guide to a location would not be accurate. So we use zero point instead..its center of the map, its in the safe shallows, and its a fixed location to navigate from.

Rebreather is for deeper dives. If you go beyond 100 m your oxygen is decreased without it. And it stacks the deeper you go. That's why the rebreather. In wrecks just have the large tank & pay attention.

Every players lifepod doesnt spawn in the same place, the world is completely the same for everyone.

The zero-point is usually the U-shaped pipe near your rescue-vessel which has one side out of the water. Just dive to the surface and look around, there should be one within 100m range.

Aww dang it! Ok get salt off the floor around safeshallows and grassy plateaus... then use your knife on a coral tube in the safe shallows. One salt one coral tube piece ..make bleach in the fabricator. Once you have bleach go into the food part of fabricator..go into water 💧 craft 2 bottles of water from one bottle of bleach. Also early game catch bladder fish 🐟 make that bladder fish into a bottle of water 💧 dont cook it! Use it for water

Bro the easiest way is 1: find bladder fish. They glow light purple and have 2 bulbous kinda fins 2: catch them. This is kinda hard on consoles 3: find fabricator. Now go to sustainance and press water then filtered water. 4: now drink the water and boom you got +20 hydration Bladder fish are quite common in the safe shallows so you won’t have much trouble finding them. Also if you are watching a video while playing subnautica then press options on PS4 to pause the game (I don’t know the key bind on PC as I don’t play on it).
