Diorissimo is beautiful and I love it for calming my nerves or for meditation. For your grandmother’s birthday/passing away anniversary, your heart will guide you right ❤. Francis Kirkdijan has done a 2024 update of Diorissimo, it’s to commemorate the anniversary of it, or something like that. It’s a gorgeous new bottle. No clue what the price might be, or how different a spin he put on the original scent.
Yes Gaby Diorissimo is a masterpiece and so is Dioressence❤ I own a bottle of each of them and I must admit even though I find them excelse I don't wear them that often as they require a certain temperature and special ocassion in a world of light sugary scents
I used to own Penhaligan's Lilly of the Valley. A lovely, long lasting, but very LOV forward fragrance for spring. I have Chanel No19 now. It's beautifully green and has that lilly of the valley I love as well. I love L'eau d'Issey Issey Miyake for summer. It's a favorite.

Now I need to move on to Lily of the Valley 😭 Do you remember the Crabtree & Evelyn Lily of the Valley and Lilac scents from the 90s that were just so realistic and fresh and simple? I chase those sometimes. If you ever do lilac, I just purchased Pacifica French Lilac and it is almost that vibe- a little less sweet, a little greener and realistic “the whole-bush” vibe.
Fab video Gabbi. It’s my birthday next Wednesday - LOTV is my birth flower and one of my favourites though not easy to find in NZ. I did love gathering them in my mother’s garden in Norway when visiting. It’s such a nostalgic scent. I have a few of your beauties - an old bottle of Gold (old click cap) and 20 odd mls of Carillon pour une Ange - which I had to decant to a new bottle after some damage. It’s an absolute (beautiful) beast! . I’m hankering to try Diorissimo. I also enjoy the Christian Dior Prive - Lucky which stunningly fresh.
I love Molinard soliflores. I have their Violet which is sumptuous. Remember Coty Muguet des Bois? It was popular in the seventies. I don’t think it’s made anymore. If I recall correctly , Yardley had LotV soap, talcum, and maybe a splash?
I know that reaction so well. It’s just impossible to describe. It’s when a perfume just moves something within you. I get that with Dior Dune every time I spray it.

ohhhh that Amouage bottle! Probably my favorite brand. but the Issey Miyake gets double points for the beautiful scent plus the clever double-entendre name: l’Eau d’Issey (as in l’oddisey; the oddisey)! this was my best friend’s favorite fragrance from way back and makes me nostalgic!

Guerlain does some fabulous muguet scents but they are £££. Original Diorissimo is fabulous 👌, as is Anais Anais for a good white floral spritz. It's a poignant one for me as my mother wore it when it was first launched ❤.

Absolutely loved this, Gabi! I'm into lily at the moment and there's an incredibly affordable one from M&S that I love - Florentyna - it was recommended in Sarah McCartney's Perfume Companion book and it's definitely a hidden gem that's worth a sniff if you don't know it already! xx
Liliy of the Valley is such a lovely flower!! I love the sweet dainty type of lily of the valley perfumes, but also love the powerful ones too. My wedding fragrance back in the 90's was Jessic McClintok, my husband said he could smell me coming down the isle!!💐🤣
Lovely video Gabbi! I love lily of the valley as well. It is my most favorite flower, along with gardenias. I also own Diorissimo by Christian Dior. If you love lily of the valley, I think that you would really like Pur Muguet by Cartier as well. It is the best lily of the valley perfume I have ever smelt and is just beautiful!
I love muguet aka lily of the valley. The only one I’m familiar with is Diorissimo. I smelt Issey Miyake ages ago. I need to try it again. Yardley also has a very nice and inexpensive muguet fragrance. It’s very light though.
I pretty much love any lily of the valley fragrance! Comes from having a May birthday, I guess. I have the Issey Miyake, but haven’t gotten Diorissimo yet, although I keep planning on it. Le Galion makes a very pretty lily of the valley, too. Have you tried it?

Yeah, Dior’s Lily of the Valley is not my jam! I’ve tried Lily of the Valley scents a few times and I just can’t do it. I love the House Molinard, their Lavender is the best lavender I have ever known. It’s everything
Been meaning to re-purchase Issey Miyake. My boyfriend and I wore the male and female versions in my senior year in college (2000) 😮 when it came out. I expect it will be nostalgic, which is why I hesitate 😅
