5 little laptops (Acer Swift 7, GPD P2 Max, One Mix 3 Yoga, Chuwi MiniBook, One Mix 1S Yoga) 

I bought the Chuwi - Nice little thing I use for making powerpoints and not much more. The battery life isn't great but I use it at home and in the office where power is normally availavle. If portability with enough power to do basic tasks is what you're looking for, this may be for you

Great summary Brad. I have large hands so the *GPD P2 Max* is about as small as I would go. I had an *Asus Eee PC 901* Netbook some years ago and always liked having a small backup laptop to travel with. Shame that _all_ the devices here have incredibly glossy screens.

Would be useful for viewers outside the imperial measuring system if you add metric equivalents on the screen.

I like the little optical trackpoints, reminds me of the raon digital everun note I used to have, man did those things vanish off the face of the earth after like 2009 lol

I like how none of these are purchasable other than thru used or resells

I wish all laptop comparative reviews included the minimal following: 1) Price lowest to highest 2) Benchmark slowest to fastest 3) Whether it's expandable/upgradable in parts (storage as in ssd/msata, ram, etc) 4) Time lapsed battery endurance test: have all start at the same time, play the same thing, and a counter to see where each of them died at, shortest to longest. 5) Weight with actual numbers, not subjective ("it feels lighter"), lightest to heaviest. 6) Arrange each of the prior 5 from either top to bottom or from left to right so we can easily identify the pecking order. I swear most of these comparison videos appear to be done by a person who is simply going through the motion with as little time and prep as possible.

For my eyes, GPD P2 Max 8.9 seem better.. I had OneMix 2 AND 3, a bit too small.

I'm really interested and comparing 8.4" 3s (slvr vs blck) vs 7" pocket2 (blck vs slvr). Those 2 are the cleanest with minimum wasted kb space. 8.9"p2 max is too big, dont really need small trsckpad, will use bt mouse anyways. And 8" chuwi build quality is not as good..?

Or you buy cheap tablets and bluetooth keyboard (along with case if you want). You can get this combo for much cheaper, depending on how powerful your phone/tablet is... IF you only want typing (and/or other office apps), browsing, and media consumption.

If they used a trackpoint three button mouse (so the pointer nub between the g, h and b on Thinkpads), that'd be a massive improvement.... And if it's possible to flash the bios with something like coreboot or libreboot, disable IM, etc the three that fold into tablets would be awesome.... Also, add a SIM card reader and a cellular modem.

The Acer Swift 7 is a 14', I don't think should be showcased in this video man

Damn so annoying manufacturers screw with the caps lock key, instantly eliminates a bunch of folk who type using it. :( I love the look of the chuwei but really only the gpd jobbo is one I could use daily.

Guys, are my laptops shitty one because I never ever have anything near 7 hours of battery life on a laptop. All I do is listening to music, constantly browsing web with ~7 tabs, using Atom for coding. Sometimes streaming vids on youtube.

Why must they use Intel.

Those smaller screen laptops are quite expensive considering their specs and functionality.

Anyone want to comment on use cases for these tiny Windows computers? The only one I could think of is that I'm a network or system administrator and I want a tiny computer I can take in sever rooms.

Great comparison! It just lacked one piece of info that I was curious about... xD Which is the most powerful one with it's best configuration? For my purposes, I am interested in seeing how far can I go with a convertible model... because with something like that, I could just throw in a clamp style gamepad thing, and have my huge library of indie games on Steam to play with, instead of having to rely on my Switch. I mean, I know it won't do any miracles, and I probably won't have the money to get right now anyways, but just checking out. I've seen that the OneMix 3 has a Platinum model that comes with a ultra low power dual Core i7 cpu... that will probably be over the 1000 bucks mark though. Acer Swift 7 is awesome with it's thinness and weight, but it wouldn't be adequate for what I want. The specs are pretty much the same as that OneMix 3 Platinum it seems. But that Thunderbolt 3 port is pretty tempting, if it can take an external graphics card unit. Then, the Chuwi MiniBook, GPD P2Max and OneMix 1S Yoga seems to all be either on Celeron or Core M3, which wouldn't run much. The problem I see with all of those is that they are all still, understandably, running dual core ultra low power CPUs. Which means they probably wouldn't serve as a replacement even for my ancient Haswell core i7 desktop, whch is around 6 years old now. I was thinking of pairing an ultrabook with a Thunderbolt 3 port plus an external graphics card for a solution that is also portable, but I think we're not quite there just yet. It's amazing how far we've come already though, as there are definitely some ultrabooks far more powerful than my desktop setup.

I don't get the small form laptops. You aren't going to get much work out of such a small screen and keyboard, nor do they make much sense as a tablet. Weight and size savings isn't that useful since it isn't going to fit in a pocket. The moment you need a case or backpack, you might as well carry a 10" or 12" device with you. If you really need something that small... you'd be better off with a pure tablet which can use touch and/or pen and/or the onscreen keyboard and bring a smaller keyboard with you if you must.

Your viewers could benefit from less frequent movements.
