MS Excel is crux of any company.. no matter what tools comes. This is irreplaceable.. apart from SQL, Python. Data analyst should be good at Visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, alteryx and MS PowerPoint too.
Whomsoever interested in data analytics should watch this video. Informative, subtle and straight on point video. Thanks for making this podacast. Keep up the good work!
I am a civil engineer who looking to change career to Analyst from last few months and searching for a roadmap. Thank you very much for bringing experience from different domains.

Hi Shashank, thank you for such videos it actually motivates the data science aspirants like me. I have watched most of your videos on Data related. But, one thing is missing no one talks about the work pressure or work-life balance they have in these roles. As they are earning more than the avg salary we have in the market, definitely there will be some catch some where. But, no one talks about that. If you could please take note of this and try to ask them in your upcoming videos, then it will definitely help us.
SQL, Advanced Excel, R programming, Statistics, Tableau or Power BI.. Few good projects.. This should suffice to get you started or to switch career to Data analytics.. Python is indeed required, but it comes handy when you move up. To be a senior data analyst or data scientist. Machine learning and Deep learning is gonna get you shine better as data scientist.
Sir kindly make video on upto what depth one must learn Python to get into data analytics. Also share some information about what dashboarding is all about giving insights.
Thanks for this video 1. It seems like different companies have different demand for data analyst job skills, some demands more on case study, some focus on SQL, some focus on sql and Python.
Means don't learn Django, PHP as these comes in developing ,just focus on data wrnagling, data visualization and make models in Python that's enough ,learn library like Numpy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, sklearn
Non technical graduates go to abroad for Doing MS, and they came to know IT Professional getting more package, they start doing any short term IT course and getting job in IT COMPANIES with good Figure package..
Can somebody let me know the pressure and work life balance for a data scientist, Data analyst and an SDE...which has the best work life balance? .. Say in good product based companies..
I have learned SQL till joins and completed Basic level test on Hackerank, currently polishing to conquer the intermediate level too. A little concerned for the howabouts of Python, learned the basics of Tuples, Dictionary, etc. But the way forward is still blurry for me
alright! once you have mastered the basics of python, go ahead with pandas and numpy. Pull a dataset and try doing sime basic manipulation. You are all set! Incase you needed any resources - read data analysis with python or data science handbook from O'Reilly publications
Thank u thank u thank u thank u so much.......this has been the best data analyst video i have watched.....u dont know how much have u helped me by keeping up the promise....loved u both
Please do tell from where should I do projects relating to data analytics roles?? And also tell from where can I get the link to apply for these companies?
I am working in data engineering field only... but i want to switch to product based from service based and i am really confused how to start. Not sure how to get your profile selected for interview. I applied in few product based but i didn't get any reply from them. So anyone can explain how to switch to product based or atleast get your profile selected for interview.
Reference bro, contact or get in touch with someone through linked in or other sources who is working in product base. Because its very difficult(not impossible) to get selected even for interviews .
why there is so less actual info ? these guys talk like toppers who don't want to share notes. no specific pointers on which courses they did. all they are saying is generic....learn sql...python...do projects. Didn't see any projects on his LinkedIn profile. Could he post them or link to github?
The economic hardship, recession, unemployment and the loss of job caused by covid pandemic is enough to push people into financial ventures. I'm taking a trip into investing because I lost so much during this pandemic. Multi creation of wealth is the best strategy to ensure financial sustainability..
Nice content mate! So happy to announce that I have gained financial freedom by investing in digital currency. Now I know that multi creation of various streams of income is the ideal Principle for financial sustainability.
Exactly👍.. which is why I will always recommend Expert ROBERT Bruce Arthur to all Newbies/greenhorn interested in making bigger profits on crypto. He is reliable and profitable
I'm working as a business data analyst in an Indian based MNC. Even though my salary is good enough, I don't get much learning here... Here it's less of growth and more of doing repetition of the same things. I doubt this might act as a hurdle when I will look out for some other companies after getting some experience
@@mohammadfaizanamir3150 i am bcom graduate currently working in bpo i know people switching into IT but i dont know is doing sql python cource will help as i know adv excel any advice would be helpful
@@sahilinamdar4097 just learn SQL, Tableau and a bit of python to get started. Once your learn these tools, do some projects and mention it in your CV and then you're ready to rock. SQL is must needed for analytics so focus more on that. And do not worry, SQL is EASY to learn, you'll love it.
Sahi hai yaar sabhi aa jao data science mai ...at least government sector mai competition toh Kam hoga 🤣. Tab hum policies banayenge ...tum predict karna food kab aayega .... Agar yeh product kharida hai toh kya yeh bhi kharidega ....please please i request each and every one to explore data science...so that yaha UPSC, PSC mai competition toh Kam ho
Great Content!..QQ I have 6yrs of Experience in Analytics field . Can u let us know which companies gives 40,45+ lpa with this experience..I am intrigued as I do not know about it .
Can a civil engineer become a data analyst after working as 4 years of civil engineer and there after 3 years of acreer gap due to govt examination prep?
Hi, so this might seem like a naive question. But currently I am into automation testing with around 4+ YOE and salary is a little bit higher side. So my doubt is if I switch to data analyst now , can I ask for a salary with my 4+ YEO or should I expect a salary of fresher data analyst just to survive in first few years of this new role if I am able to get one ?
Why he is moving his body constantly it is irritating to some one shaking their leg and jumping all the time it shows the nervousness and give negative impact
Did you watch full podcast? 27 minutes complete? His words are important or body expression? Do you think everybody is pro in camera facing? It's sad to see that you didn't learn anything from this podcast....except putting questions like "Why is he shaking his legs" ... Sad
Is it necessary to clear the first round that comprises of aptitude . Like would they ignore our low score in aptitude , if we have the proper skill set.
If you are any entry-level graduate and have good analytical skills, go for Data Analyst. If you have great coding skills and know how to make any data usable for others, go for Data Engineers. If you are decent with coding, good in Analytical and great in communication skills, go ahead with the Data Scientist role. In good product-based companies, they don't differentiate much in the payscale in any of the above roles.
He didn’t mention the year of work experience in testing and then what was the package of fresher data analyst and how does he approached does he went through recommendations or referrals or by linkedin .?
How to get scenario based case studies for data analyst roles switch. Is it possible to switch to data analyst role after doing sales and marketing. Let me know the relevant job research sources
Thanks for making these type of vedios... I have done my b.Tech in cs with tier3 college i m 13 passout and i don't have any technical experience ...i have alot of experience in teaching especially in maths .. if I want to switch my carrier as a data analyst... Will it be a good decision?
congrats ! I started right before covid when the recession hit. I held those stocks and made a killing. I bought dividend stocks and made a lot during covid.
I'm convinced that the big investors and analysts are trying to scare us to keep us poor and ignorant to the market.. because its steady doing good after all the jobless and market crash talks
The one effective technique I use is staying in touch with a financial coach for guidance, it might sound basic or generic, but getting in touch with a financial adviser was how I was able to outperform the market during the pandemic and raise a profit of roughly $40k
Hello sir While talking about python he told us that we should learn python in terms of data, can you please explain what exactly did he meant about that ?
