@@mohammadfraz brother, can you please share your Instagram I'd? I have few career related questions to ask you. I am working as Manual QA and want to switch to technical domain. Please share your Instagram I'd bro.
I really appreciate how you guide us and show us that it is possible to dream and achieve our dreams. I sometimes wish i could get few mins to talk with you and solve my doubts. Currently aiming for product based companies while having 2 years of service based experience. Had to leave my job due to some personal problems. I am studying DSA from your channel and following your SDE sheet, but sometimes i lose the track due to my doubts.
@ Fraz. The video is inspiring for youngsters to learn and master Data Engineering. Even though the career is rewarding and has many interesting things to learn, when you say 1Cr PA, it may give false assumptions to many viewers (especially college students) and make them think they may get that much of the amount in their hands. It would be great if you make a video about the salary breakdown.
One of the best podcast from your podcasts playlist. ❤ You always come up with most relevant on top of that important questions everyone has in their mind and deliver so much informative content. ✌🏻🤓
In my college Edelweiss came with 2 roles: SDE and Data engineer. I applied for Data Engineer. Cleared the test and went ahead for the interview but couldn't make it through (we discussed a recursive solution for 35mins). Now I have an on-campus offer, SDE at StoneX Group Inc.
@@shekharmodi they asked an irrelevant question, God knows why. The DSA test had 2 DSA and 3 SQL questions. One of the DSA questions had a recursive approach. So after i cleared the test, the interviewer started with my resume overview and then we discussed that recursive solution, since the answer i submitted wasn't optimal he wanted me to optimise the answer which i couldn't. And after 35,40 mins the interview got over. Another friend who got selected for the Data Engineer role wasn't asked DSA but his interviewer discussed with him the SQL solution and then the Machine Learning projects (i had ML in my resume as well). That's it. Basically it's quite unpredictable.
@@siddharthupadhyay4246 Many thanks Siddharth for your elaborative answer. True, it's unpredictable many a time! This helps and have a good weekend :).
Hi Fraz, This is one of the best Podcast, I came across, It was sorted, to the point, clean & crisp shared information. I really love the way you stand out unique in terms of your contribution to I.T ecosystem. Could you arrange the similar Podcast / give us more insight on Application Engineer role ( Salesforce developer)?
Thanks a lot Fraz for bringing is such content! I have observed that your channel covers different aspects while others are busy in making repetitive content with more drama and less knowledge while your videos provides valuable insights about the topic...Great Work!
Video editing - top notch Video content - top notch Guest ne jo info share ki - extremely helpful Bas bhaiya abhi placement/intern season chal raha hai ..... To DSA pe videos milengi to zyada help ho jayegi

Since most of you do not know,The actual CTC is the 2nd year CTC and this is important because if you make a switch / look for a new job, then this actual CTC is used to consider for new offer. The high CTC is not taken into consideration… Let’s say at Microsoft your quoted CTC is Rs 39,40,000 (~39.4 lakhs). Base Salary: Rs 12,00,000 which is further divided into two components: Basic salary and flexible Base Plan (FBP) Basic: Rs 4,72,000 and FBP: Rs 5,28,000 Joining bonus of Rs 3,00,000 (Rs 1,50,000 in the first month and Rs 1,50,000 after 1st year) Stock Award: $30,000 (given over 4 years) ~ Rs 22,00,000-23,00,000 Relocation bonus: Rs 1,00,000 (given if you are coming from another city) Note: This is not included in CTC so this is extra as you will get this only if you claim it. Performance bonus: Rs 2,40,000 (20% of Base salary) Note: 20% is the maximum if your company (Microsoft in this case) hits its overall goal. It can be less than 20% and even 0%. So, it varies. There are other components where you can get extra money provided you claim those. These are not included in CTC. These include: Medical expenses (Within a given limit) Travel expenses and others. Therefore, the following components are added to arrive at the final CTC Base Salary: Rs 12,00,000 Joining bonus: Rs 3,00,000 Stock Award: Rs 22,00,000 Performance bonus: Rs 2,40,000 This gives the CTC as Rs 39,40,000. The following components are one-time that is these components are not considered in the CTC of your 2nd year at Microsoft. So, the 2nd year CTC is always less than the 1st year CTC: Joining bonus: Rs 3,00,000 Stock Award: Rs 22,00,000 Therefore, your 2nd year CTC will be Rs 14,40,000.. In New tax regime, you cannot do tax saving. In Old tax regime, you can do tax saving like in Fixed deposit, Interest in loans and much more. This is useful only if you have to pay a large amount of interest for loans like education loan, house loan and others. Let us calculate the minimum salary: You are doing no tax saving and are in New tax regime. You did not receive any bonus (0%). Then, you get the base salary of Rs 12,00,000 only. On this, you pay tax of 20%. Tax = 2.5 * 0.05 + 2.5 * 0.1 + 2.5 * 0.15 + 2 * 0.2 = 1.15 So, you pay Rs 1.15 lakhs in salary. Your in-hand salary is Rs 10.85 lakhs. So, your monthly in-hand salary is Rs 90,417. Let us calculate maximum salary: Let us assume you do tax saving investments and are in Old tax regime. If you have loan and give interests, you can save tax on the interest up to FBP. So, you have to pay tax on Basic salary of Rs 4,72,000. Tax = 2.22 * 0.05 = Rs 11,100 You get the performance bonus of Rs 2,40,000 and tax is deducted on it. So, in-hand bonus is Rs 2,28,000. So, in-hand salary is Rs 11,88,900 per year and it is Rs 99,000. Therefore, your in-hand monthly salary range from Rs 90,417 to Rs 99,000. Your 2nd year CTC / actual CTC will be Rs 14,40,000 per year and not Rs 33,40,000 per year. Note -You’ll be getting stocks worth 22 lakhs but you’ll have to pay 30% tax +10 % long term capital gains tax on them and if you leave the company in between the unvested stocks will be forfeited It’s great to get into these product based companies ( better than service based ones ) but you should be knowing all these things
Great, no one discusses this, they always inflate the CTC from Product-based companies. I know people who actually make 1.5 Lakhs per month(in-hand salary) with a CTC of 25 Lakhs in a medium-sized MNC IT company not a startup (There are very few variable components, that's all).
Maine bhi start kiya tha as a non technical job back in 2017 at 2.5 lpa... Currently after 6 years it is 30 LPA... Now fighting to make it 1.5 Crore till 2030...
Plz continue making dsa series. As these type of videos will only help when we will be capable of. So plz start making dsa series from 0 to infinty like linked list series. Waiting for a long time. Love and respect🙏

Look for openings of a Python Developer on job portals. Go through their JD. There are Python Developers of two tech stacks - Data Engineering (Big Data, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Hive, etc.) and Web Development (Django, Flask, HTML, CSS, JS, etc.). You will notice that PD and DE are interchangeable roles in many companies. So it's important that you go through the JD and then apply for the role. Don't just apply to a role for the buzz word.
Sir I am BTech in Computer Science and 2013 passed out and I have only non technical experience 6 years in real estate and BPO Is there any course helps me to enter into IT? thanks
Main aap dono ka RU-vid channel dekhta hu because I am a theatre artist now wanted to join IT industry as an SDE . So thanks for the information contained in this video ❤❤
Hi I am curious to know why you wanted to switch role. I am currently really confused in choosing between SDE and DE role and you inputs might be helpful.

One thing I wanted to ask is in all your podcast you about many stuff but what about personal projects or projects done in current company. How much weightage does it hold? Acha hoga ki aap iske baare mein kush bataye. Big fan of your channel ❤
Bhaiya, if you really need a feedback then kindly start tree data structure now. It will help more than this. It's also good, but placement sessions is about to start!!
.If a person is from NON IT background - What would be the roadmap for him to get into data engineering field 2.Secondly if a NON IT person with 3-4 years of experience in his field and having a salary say 15LPA - would be possible for him to switch to data engineering profile with a salary greater than 15LPA because he would be considered as a fresher in the data engineering field(The reason why I am asking this is u mentioned that salary would be 6-8LPA for a entry level job) Thanks in advance
Bhaiyya abhi placements aa rahi hai DSA, project, and core subjects ko manage karna mushkil ho raha hai ,. How to manage?? Also I don't have good projects so what should I do Please I need one on one session
