So much stuff happening, you must have been crazy, crazy busy! CONGRATULATIONS! And welcome back to France - and it's VERY good you'll be done with the move BEFORE the new astronomer, because they're going to keep you busy! Have fun with all the paperwork... caisse retraite, carte vitale (je sais meme pas si ca existe encore), etc. etc... That's what I would be dreading the most!
Thank you!!!!! We were supposed to move in October, but Dalia will be too big and cannot fly so late so we had to go earlier and chose August! Not looking forward to the paperwork, among other things haha but hopefully it will be all good. If not, we'll come back :D
WOW... That was a very emotionally-packed 7-min. Congratulations to the both of you for the baby and the move. I know from experience how these two majors events occurring at the same time are very stressful. Best of luck to you 2 (or 3 🙂).
Congratulation on the new Galactic Hunter. I don't blame you for moving to France now that you're bringing a new astro-photographer into the world. It's going to be a better place to bring up a child but, like you said, not such great weather. I've only spent a couple of weeks in France and, after Australia, it's my second favourite country - by a long way.
Wow - such a short post but packed with stonking news!! Congrats across all fronts and how exciting to have a new member of the galaxy born in France! We've just been through the stressful same process of moving and selling almost everything, so take it easy on yourselves! We'll look forward to seeing new vids from your new European base.
WOOP WOOP!!! 🎊 🥳 Congratulations on the big move and most importantly the baby on the way. Do you guys plan to name the baby on a cosmic object or famous astronomer?
Hello dear fellow astro imagers. Great news!!! I hope that you won't feel nostalgic some time in the future. Life begins in France, so do issues with La Prefecture, OFII and all those lentghy French administration procedures. I hope that one day we'll have a night imaging together.Arnaud de Nantes
Wow, a lot of changes. Congratulations, you deserve every happiness. Welcome to Europe, i am in Ireland, so yes, a random amount of clear nights. Are you keeping the telescope in the remote observatory?
Awww CONGRATUALTIONS you guys!! What a wonderful surprise! Also best of luck with the big move, you guys are gonna be busy!! I recall Antoine having difficulties with home sickness a while back, so I'm hopeful Antoine will feel happy being back in France again! Plus Dalia, you will have all the new experiences to look forward to in France! It's a stunningly beautiful country with sooo much history and heritage! Yes the weather sucks over here in northern Europe but us Europeans manage it well enough so you'll be fine my friends!
Best Damien
We should have mentioned that! Sadly she is 51% Pitt Bull (we did a DNA test) and Pitbulls (or half pits) are banned in France/Europe overall 😭 Luckily, Stella is best friends with another dog from the dog park, and the owner is also a friend of ours who loooooves Stella, so Stella will be re-homed with her and the other dog. She is always crazy happy when she is with her best friend, so we're happy she'll be able to live with her now.
CONGRATS on the Baby... you have no idea what is coming after the baby is born. you will screw up and it will all be OK. The only advice I have... take a picture of the baby every single day because you will blink and he will by 18 and moving to college. Also, it is true, the second one is so much easier, in case that happens to you.
Congrats ! You're right about the weather in Northern France, here in West-Flanders it's the same. But I think, depending on where in France it will probably be darker compared to Flanders so it might not be that bad. Unless you're moving to Paris or Lille, the French Ardennes have the best close by skies for us with Bortle 3 zones.
@@GalacticHunter auch class 7. That's 88km's from where I'm at in Belgium. The region of Grandpré is a popular astro destination its class 3. It is 276km's from Béthune though. But since you lived years in the US doing that distance is like going for groceries 😅
Ah ! Super nouvelles ! :) Vers où dans le nord ? Je suis près de Lille, je pourrai potentiellement découvrir de bons spots grâce à vous ha ha. En tout cas félicitations et bon courage ! :D
Congratulations about the baby!! I just discovered your channel. I hate to see y'all go. I can still keep up tho. Everything is for sale? I hate to be a vulture but I'm looking for a roughly 6" SCT that I can mount on my skywatcher Virtuoso gti mount. Must be under 11 pounds. Please let me know.
So happy that you two are starting a new chapter in your lives! You guys inspired me as well as thousands of other people to do Astrophotography. I wish you all the best and can’t wait for more content. Clear skies
Congratulations on the new astrophotographer :) The UK is fine for cloud watchers like me - the weather has been poor for a long time now here in the UK. Hopefully northern France will be a little less cloudy. Welcome back to Europe
