📲 Our Pick Up Limes app is finally here (1-week free trial!): bit.ly/PUL_app 🎉 Did you see what happened at 0:44? Sooo here’s the thing: I like to take strategic bites of my oatmeal, getting a bit of each topping onto the spoon, but sir Robin just mixes everything together from the get-go. Whaaa!? I think he’s a bit crazy… but maybe I’m the one that’s crazy? Which camp are you in? Strategic bites, or the mix-and-swirl?
Stir fry is my favourite dinner, I have one at least twice per week, so thank you for that recipe, it looks and sounds amazing! Would welcome more stir fry recipes 💡
Kezla hi there, guess what? Last week I emailed Sadia to request some stir fry sauce recipes. I had a lovely reply to say that this is now on the list for a future video or blog. Great news for us stir fry fans! 🙂
Gado gado was a hit even the fussy kid liked it. Couldn't find some ingredients, replaced vegan chicken with vegan mince and sambal paste with some chlli garlic Asian paste. Still enjoyed a lot. Thanks
Pancake looks delicious. What a easy healthy sandwich! Yum.. Just looking at all these fresh herbs and food makes me happy. I was wondering any good soup or tea that can help bad sore throat? Thank you.💕

I have gestational diabetes at the moment & in order to stay off medication I have to follow a really strict diet, like really strict & the thing I’ve ended up missing the most is my porridge!! Would never have thought that would be missed more than chocolate! Bring on baby and bring the porridge back. ❤️
Jessica Braunscheidel it is spring in Chicago, illinois USA and I eat oatmeal with flaxseed, chia seeds, cashew nuts, banana and chocolate morsels. Bon apetite
You know when something is so beautiful that you genuinely feel like you want to cry? This is how I feel about Sadia and this video. Your aura is not only so calm and beautiful, but incredibly inspiring. Keep up the amazing work!💞
I felt the same way! I was about to tear up and I was thinking " She so beautiful and cute". She has such a lovely voice and is just so pleasant in so many ways as well as being terribly inspiring to someone on a vegan journey. :-)
I am not vegan but I am really inspired by these recipes they look really good and I am definitely going to increase my plant food intake thank you sadia🥰🥰🥰
@@lauralunaazul she said it's plant-based milk (soy milk/oat milk/almond milk) and it looks like she made her own peanut butter, watch other videos so you can see how veganism she is.
I'm new to this channel and after watching a few random videos I can't help thinking "How on earth did I manage to live so long without this channel?!". Thank you so much for such an inspiring and amazing content!
@@CastledarkDweller27 and we vegetarians too...💝💝 And the breakfast is my favorite meal of the day... Customized oatmeal with peanut butter, chia seeds, flaxseeds, dry fruits; smoothies; flavored sprouts...💝 Too much of experiments and fun...🤗💝
I love seeing what other plant based eaters are enjoying on the regular. It helps me to be more creative in the kitchen as well. Plant power!! Great video Sadia!
Incredible video, Sadie! Beautiful images; tightly edited; rich content. Here’s a cattle rancher’s son, 71, now vegan, still evolving, but now very much in sync with your recommendations. So thank you for your inspiring work! 😋
What the hell, I come from a cattle ranching family in texas and an avid hunter I would never go vegan. I watch these vids because I love veggies too and want side meal ideas. It isn't evolving when you should know first hand the animal abuse they try to push onto everyone doesn't always happen at ranches and we are in fact omnivores, ridiculous.
I'm a teen and I want to adopt a plant-based diet really soon -- I don't know how to cook but my mum said she'll help me and she's fine with me becoming plant-based. But recently she said she wants me to become vegetarian first because though I already BARELY eat meat (only sausages and pepperoni/salami, which is less than once a week. I don't like most meat) and dairy (except butter and cheese, but I don't drink milk or yoghurt b/c I don't like most dairy), I'm not eating much veg because I don't like many either. So I'm probably deficient in vitamins and minerals already, and my mum wants me to get used to being a healthy vegetarian before becoming plant-based. I have started eating more fruit, though [3 per day, because before I ate none b/c I'd always not eat them for some reason, though I've always loved fruit] I have Asperger's Syndrome which makes me hypersensitive to some textures and tastes in food [they make me gag often]. Which is why I don't like so many "normal" foods. My point is, how can I become plant-based? I really want to because of the meat and dairy industries as well as my health and the environment, and I hate how I have to make myself eat cheese and non-vegan foods still and actively shift my newly-found information to the back of my mind because there is nothing vegan that I can prepare other than fruits. Would anyone even see this oml I'm just pouring out my mind
Just start slow. Try new veggies and fruits every week. And if you only find a few days worth plant based meals you like then that's ok. Just keep eating them and keep trying new foods. Personally i like fresh veggies better over cooked. :)
Depending on what textures you are sensitive to, I’d start there. For example, if soft fruits and vegetables bother you I’d go for ones that are more dense or crunchy! Like apples, raw vegetables, etc. You can also bake some vegetables like potatoes to make them crunchy. The same goes if it’s hard foods that bother you, you can always cook to adjust the texture! And for the taste part, most plant-based food is easy to adjust to your own taste by using different spices and sauces so I would just experiment for what’s good for you. ALSO, I don’t think there is anything wrong with going vegetarian before going vegan. That’s what I did too :)
What textures do you find gross? What do you find good? If you can't bear crunchy stuff, try a tonne of smoothies! Add vegetables like beetroots, spinach and cauliflower, add frozen-berries, bananas, soy-yogurt (better than soy milk because probiotics) and oats, and for the fats, add some nut or seed butter, chia seeds and flax seeds, blend for quite a while (to break down and emulsify the funky textures into a smooth, creamy beverage) and drink up! If you find smooth and soft foods nasty, try foods in their natural form. Try fruit salads including apples, fresh berries and other fruits that you like. Or try and have more sandwiches with cucumbers and zucchini and pickles and toasted whole-wheat or rye (sounds weird, but tastes mighty fine). Nature offers a vast expanse of food choices, find out what you prefer and include it slowly into your diet!
Just found your page today and I'm hooked! My 3 go-to meals are: Oat flour pancakes (usually saturday or sunday) Chia pudding breakfast cups (usually banana with nuts!) Chickpea, mushroom, sweet potato curry - it's a one pot stop with veg, healthy carb and protein :)
I am literally eating your gado gado recipe now! I discovered it last week and have made it twice since. I can't get enough of the stuff, it's so delicious! :)
My boyfriend and I made Robin’s Gado-Gado, and he is obsessed. This is the one recipe he asks for all the time, and I love it so much. The sun-dried tomatoes definitely add a ton of flavor. We’re going to make the curry next, I can’t wait! Thank you so much for your lovely recipes!
Dont eat milk+ sour fruits Milk and fruits It s fashionable these days to blend fruits into smoothies, and they make for great Instagram pictures. Most of these fruits have a dairy base like milk or yoghurt. This can spell disaster for your health according to Dr Bhagwati. Fruits like banana, strawberries, pineapple, limes and oranges produce heat on digestion. But milk, on the other hand, has a cooling effect. When these fruits are broken down in the stomach, they become sour. When milk and these fruits are consumed together, their mutually opposing qualities can douse the digestive fire. This, in turn, can cause an imbalance of your gut flora. Ama or toxins are created in your stomach, says the doctor. Mixing milk and fruits together often causes colds, coughs, phlegm and allergies
I have also tried it and it was one of the most delicious meals I have cooked :) Since I have watched this video, I started adding cinnamon to salty dishes and they taste much better
I'm Indonesian and I find Robin's version of gado-gado very amusing! Usually we only boil the veggies instead of stir-frying it but it can be bland sometimes. Gonna try out Robin's recipe soon!
All new everytime, the night looks of home, the website creation portion, as I wished, and awesomely nutritious meals...the more your content comes the more I go grateful to you..you are literally healing in every way.. thanks always dear Sadia ❤️
I just made the coconut cauliflower lentil curry with a twist of my own and my body is literally thanking me for all the nutrition. It's so satisfying and hearty. I love it!!!
Your videos are not only informative + extremely helpful but also so artistic and calming to watch! Thank you for sharing your creative energy with the world
I just made the gado gado (my first recipe from you) and I’ll be real, I was hella skeptical the entire time I was cooking it but especially when I put in the sundried tomatoes. But it turned out AMAZING, such a flavor bomb. I’m just starting to look around for vegan recipes and this is something I’ll keep in my rotation! Thank you!
I’m so excited about finding this channel! It’s been about a month since I’ve been getting back into the kitchen and making food that’s good for my body. I’m also a gardener and I’m so excited to have to recipes to try with what I grow this year!😭💖
Wow, Robin creates his own version of gado-gado which is awesome! Here in Indonesia, the real gado-gado is different but the taste is also amazing. If you're in Indonesia, please try our local cuisine. Love from Indonesia! ❤
Ikzo N ha ha! You just take a slice of your favorite bread, smear butter on it, then you lay your favorite chocolate bar on the slice and hey presto 😀 heaven.....
You know what Sadia, I click the LIKE button before the video even starts.... and guess what, I never regret that :) All the recipes are mouth watering... can't wait to try them :)
Made the Gado Gado…wow 5 star dish! It yields a great amount of leftovers and individually can be repurposed for other meals. The sun-dried tomato addition and the peanut sauce are the stars ⭐️ that take this dish to another level!
I love oatmeal! I feel like a grandma sometimes because I crave it at night sometimes😅 I leave my pancakes flat too but presentation was gorgeous! Love your videos! And curry is everything🙌
I was never a big fan of oatmeal until I discovered 1. Scottish oats ( I find they’re creamier and I prefer he texture) and 2. Savoury oatmeal, especially with red onion, kale and veggie apple sausages.
The lentil and cauliflower curry looked delicious but the gado gado dish looks great as well. I guess I will just have to make them both this week and see who wins.
This video was just recommended to me. WOW! I am so thankful I watched it. Everything you made looks wonderful, and so different from my typical meals. You are absolutely gorgeous- can’t wait to give these a try!
I appreciate how your videos come across very calming & inspiring with yummy recipes. AND I had to subscribe, kept scrolling through other videos to share with my friends :))) The Afghan cauliflower curry is my favorite dish! Have you tried other vegan/vegetarian Afghan dishes?
Sadia, I LOVE your cookign videos. This definitely inspired me. Could you please, please, please do a video with vegan lunch prep ideas for people who eat lunch at work. I really like to meal prep on Sunday's and then not having to worry about lunch throughout the week anymore. I would appreciate that so much! Much love from (almost home) Victoria, BC!!!
