This simple tutorial shows you how to alter a basic tshirt using grommet trim.
You can sew with a machine or hand sew.
Grommet trim can be found at most craft/fabric stores. Or you can make your own with a set of grommet pliers.

Any fabric store should have it. Look up eyelet trim, should be carried in the trim sections.

I made the string cord by cutting a strip of jersey. Or tshirt fabric.
