My son just tried his 1st Anabar. He said it tastes like a dessert not a protein bar. He's hated every protein bar I've had him try until Anabar. Good job Rem. If I wasn't allergic to peanuts I'd eat them myself.
I love a lot of your recipes. Been following you for a while. Keep playing with this one. I've used Borden Fat Free singles and Rotel for queso dips, HEB carries them. The texture is exactly what you're looking for with no oil separation. I've also added sodium citrate to other fat free/low fat shredded cheese options with good results. Keep em coming, man!
Those Lavish Pitas uncooked or baked though taste like straight cardboard, so gross. Not even salt or other seasonings can fix that or dip lol, tried over the years randomly lol. Rather just use chips or make from scratch as macros still fit. But yes I use sodium citrate in my mac and cheese whether protein or normal if I don't do a Béchamel. Been doing that for years and years and funny untill recently like last few years see more chatter about sodium citrate and cheese. Think even Ethan Chlebowski had a vid on it not too long ago.
Great recipe. If you add in even half a slice of American cheese the sodium citrate in it will keep the whole thing from separating and it will be really creamy.
SHEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Thats what IM talking about. I smashed the week - workouts were great, macros were spot on. Going to take and edible and make these nachos tonight 🤣💪
