5 Minute Leaky Hose Fix for $6! 

Oh my gosh I just had that piece in my hand at Home Depot. I had to cut the hose to and I had no idea what to do. You explained it with a bang bang boom. Now I have to bing bang boom it back to Home Depot lol thank you so much that was awesome

Or just use Gardena connectors that you can unscrew, cut the hose, and screw back on lol

To facilitate shoving the metal end into the hose, dip the end of the hose into a pail of very hot water and keep it there until the hose softens up.

Ive gotta say i never see garden hoses with these connectors where im from , i only see those quick connect ones simmilar to ones on air commpressors but plastic, anyway those you can actually unscrew and mount elsewhere

and if you have a leak in the middle? do you cut the hose in half?

Pretty cool BUT it's so worth it to get one of those new flexible expandable stretchy ones. Not sure what they're called. I have one that's 100ft when in use, but collapses down to like an 8th of the size. It was 40 bucks.

screw thingys. They also make connectors. 2 bucks per set and you dont need to stretch. I have never seen hoses with pre installed metal fittings

A little petrol jelly helps ease the connection and won’t hurt anything if anyone has arthritis or a weak wrist yw

I have 100 foot hose and there’s a leak right in the middle. So it will fix the problem but I lost 50 feet worth of hose.

there is simpler answer silver duck tape

Cool but alcohol wipe and duck tape and the hose is fixed and the same length

That’s if you have a hole right at the front if not get a new one

Cmon.. Just remove the metal thread that attach to the tip of the hose and cut the leaking side then put back the metal thread connector and it free

What if it hole on middle of hose? If hose is 20 m on 10 th metter hole,then what haha

Put the metal clamp on the hose first so you dont have to remove the screws you might drop in grass and there gone forever

Flex tape doesn’t work nearly as well as this replacement end!

It's not so easy on non-kink hoses that have a rib inside that has to be trimmed.

If you don’t know how to fix a hose then you should’ve spent more time trying to find your dad

Stop buying hoses from big box stores. They are not made well on purpose. Order a polyurethane garden hose and move on with your life.

You need male to fix everything.
