First off I like this guy's demeanor on screen. He is well practiced at presenting. On the other hand, I hope this guy has gotten better since he made this video. 1st tip = good. 2nd tip = horrible, very bad advice. He uses the term "walling" incorrectly. Walling is upgrading your city when being attacked, so that the walls defend the city. Also, you don't want to level a city as much as you can once you get it. That will make you broke and will not be able to wall someone when they go to attack your city. No one is going to attack your city if they know they can't win the fight, so they will attack once they get enough troops (he inherently demos this in his video). If the person he was attacking was online and had cash, then they could have walled his attack. If they used all of their cash, then someone with enough troops will be able to easily take the city with minimal loss. Also, 100k troops is a lot for a very short time in the game, just proving he is a noob. 100k troops is a joke after the first day of playing (unless if you don't know what you are doing yet). 3rd tip=scout first? sure that was okay, but taught in the tutorial. 4th tip=pay attention to the items you have on= yes that's fine, but nothing special, and shown in the game tutorial. 5th tip=know about the skill tree, sure, but again, these are things they teach in the tutorial. Also, his skill allocation is horrible, a balanced skill tree will not make an effective strategy. It only makes sense once all of your gear is really good, and still isn't super effective, but does save gems from reskilling. some better advice: 1) don't leave your main army sitting in a weak city overnight, unless if you have a high percent of the Brave skill. Players will target that city to destroy your army, effectively disabling you. 2) if you are attacking without fearless, you will lose a significant amount of troops. 3) save your gold for walling or to use as upgrades on the last day of the season. 4) if you are upgrading your cities, you are gaining kingdom points, which lowers the amount of people you can target, and the less amount of people who are 150% or 200% experience boost to you. 5) know that a grey city is someone who has been inactive for too long and their city is 100%xp to everyone. Also, grey cities will have a few days build up of troops, so scout the grey cities first.... the lower level ones get taken fast so don't wait to take one if you see it around.
Yeah I was laugh when he said "2% troop production bonus" like that was a huge deal for some lvl 30 citys I need someone who actually makes good million lords videos I feel like I've gotta make them lol
You are totally wright, i wanted to say the same thing. There are much better strategys than his. I mean, i allready had an empire after a few days because i used the skillpoints in a much better way and on the first day the only thing i did was taking as many grey citys as possible and level these and also my capital up to provide a good source of gold and troops. On day 2 i allready had a big army because of this and then i could start taking out other people. I think its a good thing to also upgrade your capital, this way i can use the troops from my capital to attack and leave the troops produced by my other citys in those citys to defend. I almost never unite troops from multiple citys, i have won a lot of defences just because of these extra 20-30k troops produced by the citys themselves.
some advices from every season top player: 1. at the start (lvl1-30+) set striker on 5 then everything on fearless until you hit the limit. 2. dont invest in city upgrades if the city is not under attack, use the gold only for quick walling. 3. dont focus on a player who had taken "your" citys during the night etc. use the chance of beeing weak to attack players you had penaltys on. 4. if your neightbors ar all 50% or 100% and your in the top 50 on the leaderboard switch to passive stance. 5. NEVER use your units to block an incomming army or support your walls. even if your three times more powerfull than the enemy, you will lose much more units than you expected (after you got lvl 90 citys...its completely the opposite than you need to guard your citys with your army^^) 6.while in passive stance, try to kill as much enemy units by quickwalls but LOSE the city. (the smaller the gap between enemy army and your citywalls the better) that way you get more gold by retrieving 50% from the skill as bonus. 7.if your attacking close to 1k, 10k, 100k, 1m, 10m, 100m (without striker bonus) better choose 999, 9,99k , 99,9k etc. army to the enemy wont overwall and you most certanly will get the city. 8.allways focus on the highest citys of your enemys not the lvl 50 crap (if your passive phase was successfull and you gained several lvl by passive quickwalling) 9. never attack lvl 0%, 50% or even 100% exp. 10. allways regroup your units during the night/work in your capital. theres much more but that should help getting up to diamond rank at least.

And what happens when every 150 or 200 u can set back is 1 On the same time you are and 2 all running max cautious with 100plus salvager and 100 striker..Hitting them just prints gold for them.
Thank you for the tips. I started playing yesterday and now that I got a pretty good valor. I can no longer attack people in my island. So I will just recall all my troops to my main city and let people take my cities so I will get lower valor and then be able to attack once again. Thank you for the tip number 7-8
please, patch up the game. allready the third season without any improvements. dont let the game starve like this, it deserve more by beeing one of a kind in a bit pool of trash.

This game has best war game mechanics,you can't attack weak player if you do you will get 0.1% to 99.99% troop desertion,this means that much% of your troops fled and lost.comeback system of this game is really good, suppose you slept at night and woke up early in morning and found out all of your cities ate taken and you levelled up 2-4 times you can take all cities back easily with tons of army you got +200% exp bonus. One more thing that is worth to mention is that there is 4 hr wall exp CD,that if the city has been taken recently you won't get any exp within 4hours. Truly f2p, start with 50% fearless and rest on striker and when you reach tank top 3,switch to defense mode,that means skill reset and put 10 pts on hold production,10 points on gold invested on city efund and rest point on salvager,switch back to scavenger when you get about 200M troops,defense mode is basically for getting troops,when you are lvl 60+,you won't level up by just suiciding your full army on no.1 player in kingdom,so you need to first get about 500k+ kp then switch to defense mode and get near about 200M troops and switch to offense mode and rekt the no.1 player.

you can check the defence of the city right from the city icon pressing the 'i' for faster... after you scout him it countes the army too on the defence
Upgrading your capital would be suggested if your struggling get it to lvl 30 since it make good money and troops over lvl 30 it useless since it will cost to much money for what it worth
Well I dont have a crown showing on any of my city's bur my main city is outlined by a jagged circle, and uh I already leveles up my city to thirty in 2 days and I was wondering why when I went to take over a city to get more captured city's it said demotivation your soldiers don't feel motivated, how to I get rid of demotivation so that my soldiers can get more city's???
No hate but your skilltree is kinda fucked and i think you misunderstood the term 'walling'. You dont want to level up your cities early on and waste your gold. Walling is okay ish if you get an attack incoming, if not you want to keep your kp low

@@fpnicolas the first game with basic fundementals like this came out way ago which resembled an ant colony style i forgot the title, but it was not an mmo. The only similarities was the population within each city and the idea of conquering thoes cities by overwhelming the opposing side with "troops"
