Just to clarify with Lesson #5 - the main takeaway is that saving money is tax-free and anyone can do it through smart saving habits. Earning more income is better overall, but of course any extra income that you manage to generate will be taxed. 50% tax rate is an overestimate and taxes are different for everyone, but it helps to drive home the point that saving money is tax-free.

Love Tip #3- You have to have the processes and systems set up to achieve what we actually want to. The best things in life aren't gained in a day but over a stretch of consistent hard work & processes. Great video overall here Daniel!

Tip #4 is a huge one that I've been trying to implement more and more in recent past (also because I read The Almanack of Naval Ravikant 😆). This mindset shift is huge though... as you said, it doesn't necessarily apply to every situation, but as long as you are using that time gained from outsourcing in another productive way, it makes a ton of sense. Great video all around man!

Your editor is doing a great job. I edit in a similar style (your editor is definitely better at it) and it takes me HOURS to get the production level that I’ve been able to achieve, so this is money well spent. Can anyone answer this? Is there a catch all card that gives at least 2% cash back with no foreign transaction fees? The only card I know of that’s close to this is the capitol one quick silver but it only gives 1.5% back

Always have your cash working for you too and making "something". Keep enough on hands to pay bills and for emergency, plus necessities, but not more than you really need. The rest can go to short-term investments like brokerage CDs to earn 3-5% per annum. Earn something on your $. Thanks for this Danny.

I think the "time = money" mindset is overrated. The way I think is that time spent doing things that I enjoy is time well spent even when I'm not making much money. Like, with the "time = money" mindset, the time spent researching on the next credit card to get would not be justified because it can be used for a side hustle that makes me even more money. It doesn't factor in the fun I get out of doing the research and organizing the credit card data. Basically, it's a game to me.

It would be sick if you could do a little series on the chase freedom student and working you way as a beginner into the ecosystem it’s the only card I could get approved for to start

Why prioritize the chase freedom unlimited 1.5% back x 1.25 (= 1.875% back) over a 2% back card?

Because I redeem my chase points 100% of the time by transferring to travel partners to get 2-3 cents per points and above. So 1.5x back really becomes more like 3-4.5% back and higher. If only using the chase travel portal at 1.25 CPP with the CSP like you said then you’re correct that a 2% back card would be better 👍
