Yea but now he'll live along side the lore of the band he loved enough to follow around, and probably be remembered just as long as the band itself because of that connection and how mysterious it was, I also think he's probably grateful.

I watch videos and read articles because it's interesting, I wouldn't use the term "obsessed" like most people say. Being obsessed to these things aren't normal anymore. Unless you don't know what obsession means. Also, this people that find these serial killers attractive are definitely one of the people they manipulated indirectly. Psychopaths are smart and has a great camouflage. They can donate to charities, be on Harvard, have dogs and babies, while skinning you alive. They can manipulate anyone. And they got no empathy. So jokes on their wives.
I used to always wander off in my youth when i was very drunk. My friends jokingly said that's how they knew I was really drunk because I would wander off randomly. I did it a few times while vacationing in Vegas, and looking back now that was sketchy as hell. I don 't as much anymore, and I never wander off. Too many true crime videos
Lucy Powell except they didn’t find any drugs or alcohol in their systems...the driver was just really tired which has been proven to be just as dangerous as driving under the influence...plus when people die their bodies stop digesting/processing whatever the person has In their system, therefore IF they had drugs or alcohol or both in their systems it would have been found by the coroner...and the coroner did NOT find anything like alcohol or drugs in their systems...therefore neither of them(more so the driver) had anything in their systems that would alter their state of mind, therefore not altering their decision making while driving...this the coroner coming to the conclusion that the driver was just driving while super tired, and it was him being super tired while driving that causes the accident..
I mean you are much more likely to catch a disease from a tick (assuming you live in the right climate) than you are to be killed by a serial killer. And it's probably harder to stay alert of a threat from something much smaller. Scary shit.
Well I know between those two I would much rather not know just hoping they were alive somewhere out there just living a new life, better than being murdered or stuck in some creeps house forever until they die.
Better knowing what happened. Only as then you know what is out there for the sacrifice of one, rather than many. That will be painful for you, here's the tool for emotional strength. Just think like it happened to someone else
The 2nd one made me feel sad. Poor kid was just tryna follow his heart and live a lil. One stupid thing happens, and he’s dead. Rest in peace, my fellow dead head. Rest in peace :(
Dirtbike Dom that’s true about a lot of stories. It’s really sad actually. Go out for a little party and you could get drugged raped and killed. Break up with someone, they could take revenge. Hitchhike, bad draw and you find yourself tied up in a truck. Look too good, could be targeted. Hook up with a stranger, you could wake up with a knife in you or a crossbow bolt shot at you or rope tied around you or aids inside you. There are a lot of bad people out there. But than spending your entire life safe in a house could be just as bad and possibly a worse prison than death.

You know Japanese society is messed when they chose to blame a serial killer's insanity on the anime and horror movies he watches rather than the fact that HIS PARENTS WERE SIBLINGS.
exactly what i was saying. also his dad was ashamed of his actions, i mean murder and assault on kids is horrible itself but i don’t think the dad had much morals himself....
Excuse me but Western countries also loves to blame geek/pop culture parts when someone has committed an heinous crime. Mmorpg, tabletop, rock music, videogames...the list of examples is endless.
@@LilyLota yes...but i have neither seen nor heard of any cases of that being the main selling point when the perpetrator was inbred or had a birth defect or maybe even a brain disorder, having any one of those attached carries much more weight and integrity than 'oh he watched them bloody animes pa! thats why he did it!'. I think the comment you're replying to was trying to point out the fact that the media focused on what he liked to do as a result of his upbringing rather than *why* he did what he did as a result of his upbringing. I guess they could not make the correlation between inbreeding and mental instability, which is what the original commentator believes is so 'fucked up' about their society. Im not saying that being inbred directly influenced him to do these unspeakable acts but iam saying that it plays a bigger role in deciding his day to day actions and the media saw his viewings of gory anime as a bigger factor in deciding his day to actions and you seem to be overimplying the amount of criminal cases in america that have suggested that playing violent games or watching violent acts on tv may have contributed to the certian persons thought processes. That is simply not something that has been proven so its usage has little to no credibility and most seem to despise when that point is brought up because of the sheer amount of people who indulge in those things...and tabletop games influencing heinous crimes? Please show me where and when that was implied.

I remember when the mark kilroy incident happened. I'm from that area. The cultists believed human sacrifices would make the drug smugglers invisible and run drugs across the border without being seen. There is a novel all about this titled "buried secrets" for anyone who is interested.
I was surprised he left that part of the story out. Considering wasn’t that how they got caught? Assuming law enforcement couldn’t see them so they just drove straight through a border crossing?
I definitely think that the guy in the last story definitely was crushed in the back of a garbage truck. I'm homeless and know multiple people who have fallen asleep in dumpsters and been dumped into a garbage trucks trash compactor. A good friend of mine actually broke multiple bones including his pelvis getting trash compacted by one.

I actually was born and grew up near the park where the Chessboard killer operated and I remember being kind of sheltered and wasn't allowed to go anywhere alone after school because his rampage was going on when I was in middle school or so. I used to go to the park as a kid, but always with my dad, who is a big dude so no one messed with him.
I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Grateful Doe case; so many unidentified Does are the result of horrific crimes, yet this was a happy guy who just happened to die in a tragic freak accident doing what he presumably loved: traveling the country following his favorite band. So wonderful that his family was finally able to bring him home. There is hope for humanity I guess.
Yeah the Grateful Doe story hit me hard... He seemed like the kind of guy I've met before at music festivals and befriended. It's really sad that he had to go in such a way.
I think one of the things that pissed me off about the case was SO WHAT THE NUMBER DIDN'T HAVE AN AREA CODE. Just start dialing and ADD the frikken adea codes, starting with the closest areas, then branching out. Hi, I am looking for Caroline? Wrong number? Cross off list Hi, I'm looking for Caroline? Yes were you at a grateful dead concert? See how easy that is? It would have taken at most a couple hours. I'm not saying it would have solved the case, but we are just given the impression the police when they saw the number was like, well, no area code, nothing we can do, and that was the end of that.
Xena Warrior dude that’s EXACTLY what I thought!! Like, start with the area codes in close proximity to where the car was found and move your way outwards.
But which mother would assume that their son is on the road with his favourite band and NEVER calls or writes or something for more than 20 years? That's very sketchy....
from the way the family acted like “oooh we just thought he wanted to stay missing,” or “i didn’t know how to report it,” it’s kinda impossible to think they could even care. like hello, it’s not a phone or a wallet, it’s your son. honestly they took it so lightly. i don’t know, i’m not there with them in person but their reactions just seem a little too bland 😒 i swear the people who were trying to find him all these years showed more emotion to him being identified.
It's not always the mothers fault. My brother choses to live his life without us and we rarely know where he is. We have tried to locate him a number of times and we finally found him after 7 years of being missing. He's now been gone again for around 5 years. It doesn't make my mother a bad mother at all. Not everyone wants to be found, he own brother has been missing for 40 years and no matter how many searches he was never found.
Wow everyone hating on the mother. You guys do realize that Jason is a "Free Spirit" as in he smokes weed, follows a band on tour; takes rides from strangers. He doesn't exactly have a direction in life nor is he keeping up with his friends anyway. The people who identified him all had the same story and some didn't remember his last name. He's not he kind of person who builds lasting relationships. He chases the moment. I mean hippies aren't exactly known for being responsible. The people who knew him, even his Mom; didn't seem to think anything of it. That tells you a lot about this guys... blame the Mom though... that's a lot smarter.
Playing devil's advocate, it's not necessarily that weird. Imagine that someone goes off to college in a different state, you wouldn't be surprised if they go a year or two without calling you up. If family moves out of state external to college, you might go a good couple years not talking to them while they get their life situated. And, hell, in the 90's before the likes of Facebook or even Myspace, calling was pretty much the only way to communicate when your daughter and her new husband moved across the country. I say that last case (family moving out of state) from experience, given that when my aunt and her husband moved from New York State to Arizona there was almost no contact between them and my grandparents (read: my aunt's mother) or my mother (read: my aunt's sister). This lasted for nearly ten years, until my aunt moved back to Central New York in the early/mid-00's. It's sad, I'll grant you that. But a parent would hope their child is doing well, and if the mother wasn't keeping up that the band had disbanded at a specific date then a couple years of touring followed by a her son settling down somewhere isn't unreasonable.
@@onijester56 yeah I can see it being not weird maybe at a couple years but over 10? Just seems weird to me how she thought he was supposedly living without actually knowing anything.

Yes ma’am! I’m blaming the mom full on. It’s not that she let him go see the shows but that she had no desire to follow up with him. If I don’t hear from my son for a few weeks I’d be in panic mode. This bitch didn’t make a move for 20 years. Oops he hasn’t called yet guess I’ll file police report 🤦🏻♀️ I know there weren’t cell phones but we still had the post office and pay phones. Call once a month and if I don’t hear from you I’m going to find where the band is currently touring and go to you. You follow up as a mom. If she did she may have been able to give him a proper service or even save him. Honestly I don’t think she gave much of a shit 🤷🏻♀️
So my dad told me a story that I would never expect to hear from him. When he was younger, he would help his uncle sell backpack transceiver phones to Mexico due to the popularity at the time. They never had them in Mexico at the time, so big businesses from Mexico would go to Brownsville to buy them. It paid well, so they were happy to sell them. One night when they were packing up the phones to deliver though, a group of people came by. Two of them were a man and a woman, and the man wanted to talk "business" with my dad's uncle. As they were talking in private, my dad noticed that the woman was eyeing him frequently. My dad assumed she was possibly attracted to him, but he knows now that this wasn't really the case. A few minutes later, his uncle starts screaming at them in Spanish "get the hell out of my shop!!". His uncle signaled him to go inside the shop. After a minute or so, the group left, and his uncle told him what happened. They wanted to buy off his business not just with money, but with cocaine. As a man in the military, this made him very livid, but he and my dad were very relived that they left. The man that visited the shop was Adolfo Constanzo, an occult killer well known for his connection with the Mexican cartel, and the woman was Sara Aldrete, a college student who had an unhealthily passion for Constanzo and claimed to be a witch. Sara was eyeing my father not because she was attracted to him, but because he was white a complected Mexican man. She helped find white complected men, Hispanic or not, due to the fact that Constanzo started doing human sacrifices to protect the cartel, and believed that the white complected we're weak in soul and easy to kill. If it weren't for my dad's uncle, my dad would be dead and I would have never been born.
I have a similar story with me being at a mall at 13 and R.Kelly..... sometimes the universe protects you or you have a dad or an uncle that knows the game and won't involve you in it.
i doubt the authenticity of this story due to the fact that anyone with ties to the cartel is usually down to kill someone and you gave 2-3 reasons why your dad and uncle should not have been allowed to walk away from that

Ah, not visited London very often then. I used to work there 30 years ago, and it was not uncommon to find respectably-attired persons slumped in shop doorways or between bins - because being drunk the night before had rendered them 'unwelcome' inside hotels, etc.

Fun fact, they are meant to. :3 the recreations are meant to draw out certain key features (such as a large nose, or very small lips, or gaps in their teeth, etc) but not meant to look too life like. Tolerance of pedos? I challenge you to show me an Anime fan that says Anime proves it's okay to touch actual children. And if you can't tell the difference between drawings and actual people, that is the issue. I personally don't get the whole loli thing either, but there is worlds of difference between people liking a 2000 year old vampire loli Anime character and an actual child. You might as well say FPS game culture has a disturbing tolerance of murderers.
@@TheNuclearGeek Ah, yes, your ridiculously specific request for proof definitely sidesteps the hundreds of MAPs on Twitter constantly sharing lolicon trash while talking about abusing real kids. I didnt claim anime was the cause either, correlation is not causation, but weebs need to stop tolerating the weirdos that constantly go on about how they would bang their Loli waifus, and no, the 2000 year old excuse doesn't fly with sexual attraction to porn images. It's the fringe of the fringe, but it still could be addressed better.
@@Etherman7but you're saying that Anime caused them to do that. If you're seeing people say those things I certainly hope you're contacting some agency. Anime doesn't create pedos and insinuating Anime fans as a whole are somehow okay with their very existence is beyond insulting to people that just enjoy Anime. I'm sure that fucked up pedos enjoy horror movies, or fine art, or any other "community". That doesn't mean that those "communities" caused them to be pedos either. Games don't make people shooters, Anime doesn't make people pedos, and liking Anime doesn't mean people are somehow "okay" with people being pedos. How about attacking the actual pedos instead of wasting your time attacking normal people that enjoy games or anime or anything else or blaming things saying they make people into something evil. Pedos are pedos because they are sick fucking pedos, not because they happened to watch a television show.

I live in Matamoros and this case was really popular back in the day. The abandoned house of the high priest of the cult is a very popular place for urban exploration and hang outs for "edgy" people. People here usually know this story if you mention the "Narcosatanicos".
In the last story-- it is absolutely shocking that they went and searched the woods when they had footage of him wandering into an alley with trash cans and didn't come out, they knew he moved 12 miles in 28 minutes on the next morning and it would have been quite easy to see if trash was collected... in fact, they should have seen the trash truck on the CCTV. So why would they go search the woods when the most likely answer was so very obvious and why would it take them so very long to realize the obvious answer? Also... how would a trash truck be 200 pounds over expected weight... I could easily see the discrepancy between a few dozen house and business trash week to week add up to at least 200 pounds.
yeah the 200 lbs. thing is kind of weird. I know that my house trash can vary several lbs. A collection truck picking up commercial size bins couldn't possibly know their expected weight with that much accuracy. I guess though with the phone thing they could have not had another angle of the bin area and thus thought he dropped his phone in the bin and went the way out they couldn't see.

( Abt the extraterrestrial beings: I think demons and satan are the bad aliens/ negative energy in general and i think angels/god are the good aliens/positive energy in general. When I say aliens I just mean the other beings: Are the green aliens we’ve heard of or the other entities we’ve seen on video demons/ bad aliens and that’s their physical form? And I say demons because I’m not sure angels show theirselves for reasons like that or at all.

When you're own son disappears and you dont even bother filing a missing persons report after 20 years you have to ask why surely any decent mother would want to find out what happened to her son and yet he was known to be dead for 20 years without an identity all because his own mother couldn't be bothered to enquire about his whereabouts.
For the first story, for Mark. The religion they practiced? It wasn't just one. It was a mix of three, the man who wanted a white man for his voodoo bowl thing wanted a smart, good looking white guy. A doctor or student studying to be a doctor (which was Mark). The man's mother, the guy who killed Mark, studied a form of voodoo, but they didn't kill people. It was forbidden to kill a person. They killed chickens mostly. There is a show on Netflix that even covers what happened to Mark in greater detail. The show is Occult Crimes, season 1 episode 3, "Human Sacrifice in Matamoros". Mark wasn't the only person they killed. For real, though, I do love Lazy, but the info he has on this case is wrong. There wasn't a shoot out caused by El Padrino tossing money out the window and shooting people. He was laying low with his boyfriend and this was after he had been in hiding for a while. A cop showed up to the apartment complex where Padrino was for a noise complaint of something, and being paranoid, he started shooting at the cop. When the ceasefire happened, Padrino and his boyfriend were shot in the head by a fellow gang member because they didn't want to be captured. Padrino wasn't a drug addict, per se, he was a drug lord. He practiced his dark magic as a way to protect his gang members and then politicians and famous people and so on. He was a liability to these powerful people. He had dirt on them that could sentence these influential people to time behind bars.
Thank you for telling us the show, I watched a hour long show about it and even from that lil bit of time I thought there was something off with the religion and how main leader went out ( had a homie kill him cuz he didn't want to be locked up) thanks for your input, I will deff watch that show you mentioned!

I think its amazing that reddit solved the grateful doe case. How wonderful that is. I'm very happy he had his identity restored. Thanks for that story Lazy, love you!
i know what to expect when i listen to your videos, but i always get struck by your voice. i love it. thats all i wanted to say. i hope u find money on the ground and that you have/had a good day.
"Otaku" roughly translates to "friendless homebody" and is a negative term, much like "loser" or "crazy hermit". Don't call yourself an otaku. It doesn't mean "proud anime fan".
i wouldn’t call myself an otaku even though i am a hermit. i barely leave my house. but that’s just my social anxiety, i really do wanna get out and all that jazzzzzz.
@@kyon-kyon- having social anxiety doesn't make you a bad person! "Otaku" refers to the person who literally replaces friends and family with their anime figurines and posters and pillows and whatnot and wishes those things were real. They have a hard time telling reality and anime apart. So, no. Being a hermit or a homebody doesn't make you a bad person. Pushing people out of your life because they're not anime characters would make you an Otaku. Don't push people out of your life because they're not anime characters. Lol
The most disturbing part of “The Grateful Doe” mystery was the fact that the two (actual) dead heads were found with NO drugs or alcohol in there system while leaving a Grateful Dead concert. Highly suspicious…
I live in Brownsville, Texas, mentioned in the first video. That story took place in 1989. Nowadays, crossing that border can be pretty crazy. Even during the day. The cartel activity has become bad. In either case, I never thought I’d hear my little city mentioned in one of these videos. My day is instantly better when I come across a Lazy Masquerade video, even one that came out two years ago.
We were vacationing in Cancun Mexico a few years ago during the day of the dead. I am very blonde- a nice local man in a shop over heard my enthusiasm about seeing the parade. He warned my husband to not go to the festivities and parade. He pointed at my hair and said “Stay at the hotel, don’t go downtown-especially with HER”. Just an interesting FYI...
Nikki Phantom did you listen to the first story? I think it has to do with the cannibal cults specifically targeting very caucasian looking people (blue eyes ,blonde hair) to sacrifice . I think that’s what he was warning her about.
I feel very sad for Mark Kilroy in 1st story...I hope he is now at peace. How disgustingly brutal and sadistically evil those monsters were who killed him!!!
Found your channel recently and have been binging. You mention at the 26 minute mark: “This serial killer got married, *sigh* and yet i am still single.” Past you had no idea that future you has found their person 💙 Congratulations! I hope you are happy as can be with you wife. You deserve the best!
