example that supports OP's statement (in my opinion - of course, this is all opinion): the hypervenom 2 graphic design and colorways, both before and after they changed the upper. it was like the worst elements of the 80's done in a really shit way. one for adidas: the x 15 design never really won me over either, but i did like some of the colorways... i guess. the orange primeknit x 15+ was the best, in my opinion.

However people can be very rich and still work in football stores, personally I want to work with plumbers, electricians, etc, because I’ll like to know learn and have more understanding. Secondly, others work in places that strengthens their hobbies, for example, I love super cars, football etc, I would love to work at F1 races and champion league finals, that means I can see or if I’m lucky touch an F1 car and see Lewis Hamilton or shake hands with Ronaldinho, fat Ronald, Ronaldo, Messi, Jay Jay Okocha etc. Thirdly, did you hear how much he spent on boots?!😳! and what he wore as a young lad? Jesus, that’s rich to me. All in all, it’s because he have all these experiences that he can advice us today. So I wish I could, I would have been his friend to borrow some of his boot to play 😂🤣😂🤣 In fact, I don’t mind if he sends me a nice pair of boots now! Send me one please! Those powerswerves are the best boots I have ever owned. Absolutely sublime first touch on the ball and incredible control during passing and punts. The extra weight may not have helped most but for a goalkeeper like me it was very noticeable. I wish I could buy them again because I would still wear them. I have my AdiPure 11Pro's now which are awesome but they aren't my powerswerves :(

Personally as left foot forward player, I genuinely could put a great deal of swazz on the ball from a dead-ball kick. Only really got issues when not opening the face of the foot to the ball when hitting it up the line if I failed to check my run slightly. I enjoyed playing in them. That said, as we all know, they could be divers lead boots. It's what you feel comfortable in and how you feel wearing them.

I started off with the Mondel, then ADIDAS Maradonna, the finished my final 6 years playing in ADIDAS Predator's on my boot deal. Now I get the new Pred's for free as a coach as I wear them in the technical area on match days, with the rep giving me a new pair if they know we will be shown on TV highlights or get to the 3rd round of the FA Cup. While I never fell for "Power Pulse", it's more for the kids. Those playing Park Football are better off with the heavier boot and leather upper, plus a more robust sole for protection. Don't you think there's a connection between boots getting lighter and more Metatarsal breaks?

@Latin_Samurai
@Latin_Samurai 5 лет назад
Exactly my thoughts. The predators of that era were imo the greatest boot ever made. I wore both the absolute and the powerswerve all through out high school and kept a specific pair of powerswerve's up until about 3-4 years ago due to them finally tearing after 6 years of play. lol I know. Long time to keep a pair, but they were durable as all hell and I tried to only play them for match games. This boot could easily run 1000 wears and still be a killer ass boot. There was just something about the predator.

Oh god I had those exact blue F50 tunit boots, yeah, they definitely should be on this list, everything you say about them I experienced. They weren’t comfortable, the velcro tongue was just awkward, screwing the studs in was a massive pain in the ass and I lost studs til I eventually didn’t have enough studs left to actually be able to play and I just gave up on the things. It was super easy to strip the screws which basically rendered them useless and the little wrench they gave you was made of plastic and was super awkward when trying to actually screw the studs in because the things just kept popping out the wrench.

I had Adidas F50s and the soles were rock hard and completely flat but you never got badly hurt by getting stepped on. Now, boots form to your foot nicely, but you can't caress the ball and it feels like your foot has a hole right through the middle of it when you get stepped on. Need some give and take. Not found a balanced boot for a long time.

As a basketball sneakers fan here, wondering if adding Nike Zoom Air or Addidas boost as cushioning would make the wearing of football/soccer boots feel better? (I know running on the field are a lot softer than on hardwood floors but just brainstorming some new ideas here.)
@Soccerreviewsforyou
@Soccerreviewsforyou 5 лет назад
Both have been done. Zoom never really caught on, and I personally don't think made much of a noticeable difference. The Boost that Adidas has put in a few different boots was so thin, that it just doesn't feel like Boost. It ends up feeling like any other foam insole.
@Starcraft2Union
@Starcraft2Union 5 лет назад
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Ah I see, thank you replying. I guess football and basketball are being played on very different surface afterall. And not so surprised about the boost, the material does need some volume for it to work as intended and when they need to keep the sole of the football boot to a minimal, it is hard to get much real benefit from using boost.

Dude, the lead up to the predators had my concern confirmed lol. Oh the disappointment to see them on this list. :'( Both of those predators were my "absolute" favorite boots of all time. Sure, they were heavier than some of the others available at the time, especially with the mercurials taking over the scene, but I absolutely loved the feel of this boot. I've actually been trying to find a pair affordable enough to have again. Most are running around $2-300 even to this day, and mostly because of them being vintage boots. I'm just not willing to shell out that kind of money for cleats that are over 10-15 years old. The absolute and the powerswerve were hands down the greatest in my opinion though. Call me crazy, but there was something about the predators of that time. I played some of my best football in those boots.

I've used that stud pattern on multiple Lotto boots and can honestly say that it make absolutely no noticeable difference. I play CAM and CM. I've never had an issue with the predators and in fact didn't really care about the extra weight. I was in the best shape of my life at the time I was wearing these, and I would practice in a pair so I was used to it by the time the season started. Greatest boot of all time IMO. @@Soccerreviewsforyou

Bruh, I had a pair of F50 tunits for like 4 years, if the sole hadn't separated from the upper then i'd still be using them now.

Hello Jürgen! Just to let you know: On current generation SG adidas boots there is the exact same message on the soleplate as on the F50.6 Tunit. So they still haven‘t changed that

I used to have the first F-50 TuneIt. Luckily I broke on my way to a game while changing studs in a moving car. Best idea ever😂😎😜. I turned them in and got a pair Predators as the replacement👌🏽

The best football boots I ever owned were the Adidas F50+ in black and white, I had them in 05/06 Followed closely by the predators in black and red that I had in 04/05. Primary school days aha

The Zippershoes are GREAT for Goalkeepers! I used to wear them and I loved it! And actually, if the Zipper would fit, I would make a model without any laces at all! Just for the keepers! Id brand them as something like that. And the F50 was an awesome looking shoe :D (Looks is EVERYTHING!)

overall, first quality of a football boot is that must be comfortable during the game, must let you run, stop, change directions at high speed without getting injuries, and kick the ball in the different ways possible without loose your nails in the process, and also support you when you are going to get damage from another players (or you are the one doing it), if this is achieved and have a design that make you feel proud is almost perfect, a light weight can be good in short therm but it is possible that the endurance of the materials is compromised... and I would run away from shiny looking materials, and would ty to look for materials a material that grips better the ball

I was actually quite satisfied with my f50 tunit, the heavy boot wasn't a huge issue for me, since I've always liked to wear "heavy" boots as a goalie. But I overtigned one of the screws and it destroyed the boot.. I went out and got my self a pair of puma Evo speed. They were just not heavy enough for me. But then I got my self a pair of Copa Mondial.. Best boot ever, and they still work to this day, 7 years after I bought them :)

I switched from lightweight pumas to adidas when the sole of my puma boot split down the middle of the shoe (lengthwise!) after 2 months. They were horrible quality-wise

The carbon fiber soulplate probably cracked because carbon fiber is super strong in tension. But pretty weak in shear. And in the boots the weight of there person and the whole running acts shear force on them.

I don't agree with what you said about cracking with the SL soleplate. I had 2 pairs of Vapor IV SLs and also wore the full carbon fibre black/pink model. I wore them mainly on AG as well and had no issues whatsoever with cracking.

No way dude. The F50.7 TUNITS were amazing. I ignored the "don't over tighten" label and tightened to about 95% of my full strength and never lost a single stud. The chasis never broke, and they lasted me a long time. One of my favorites. I also had two pairs of the Predator Absolutes. I liked them but I agree, the powerpulse technology was a gimmick. They both opened up from the tip of the toe though, my only complaint.

I guess I'm crazy, because I had a later generation tunit and loved them. I never lost a stud, still have the full sets of all studs, albeit I only ever played with the soft ground set.

I remember when the original F50 customs were coming out, I got them before launch as my dad rung up a pro supplier and just told them he was representing a pro client (me and not true at time) and they sold him a case that included 6 shoes of three different styles along with three sets of inner soles and three sets of stud lengths. After a couple years of use (stolen most likely), he contacted them and told them they were failing and losing studs so they arranged to receive the white and pink later F50s and hard ground variant ahead of time again. Lies are great.

I play America football so I have no clue about these cleats. Looking at what was shown in the video, my favorite shoe is the one on the top shelf far right.
