The Zay Flowers with and without Andrews numbers are a thing but it was also post bye, where you usually see rookies step up. Plus it was a rookie with a first year OC. Ravens offense was good last year but they have room for a ton of improvement.
It’s crazy you literally drafted my team. Dynasty BB Superflex TE premium start 11 Allen, St. Brown, Gibbs, Olave, Stafford, Walker, Kupp, Stevenson, McConkey, Conner and Ferguson
I really like this style of video where the draft is done and we can analyze the board to see where the actual value is. One of my favourite things to do after a season is to look back at the draft board of my family and friends leagues and see why the league ended up the way it did.
Can't remember having a year where I had players ranked so much differently than you. I'm way lower on Olave and I guess way higher on Jacobs. Still love the content, but can't say that you changed my mind on Jacobs.
Nabers at 3 is all about team construction if I start a draft with 2 wrs I’ll take nabers as my 3rd but I ain’t taking him as my wr1 if I take 2 rbs. I treated Gibbs this way last year and it worked out amazing
With how far Jacobs is commonly falling to, 5-6 turn more than a few drafts of mine the last few days, I think that's more than an easy click. Very even with Cook and Mixon where he's more commonly drafted amongst. His ADP’s already adjusted to round 5 in some tournaments
Jacobs is now going in the 5th in all tournaments on UD. At that price I’d smash him. High powered offense where he is going to get the bulk of the carries. It’s hard to be super efficient in that putrid offense the raiders had last year. I think he can still be a similar back to what he was 2 years ago
I would like to preference this criticism by saying I do like your videos. That being said, my guy, why tf are you using a draft where Brock Purdy went at pick 42 to talk about bad picks on Underdog? 70 picks ahead of ADP, and he took 3 more QBs after that. You couldn't find a sharper draft to use? There are some legit awful teams on here.
Any rankings you see from Underdog need to be taken with a grain of salt. they are not reflective of what re-draft ADPs will look like. But in mid-June, it is all that content creators have to reference because season long drafts haven’t started yet.
@@craigwaynewayne2082 he might suck but at the goal line he’s good plus they just drafted a young rb. Thats not to say these guys will take over but laflaur loves a committee. He will NOT have the same workload like he had in Oakland.
I feel like it's hard to translate some of this advice, because some of it is sound enough if you're looking for micro-edges in a paid bestball format, but for actual home redraft leagues it's harder to know. Malik Nabers, and WRs in general, won't go as high there. How low does he fall in a regular redraft setting before it makes sense again? Relative to other WRs near him, even some ahead, he easily should have the most projected volume, and if he's anything like he projects as a prospect, he should do something with that volume. I'd bank on a high end prospect like him hitting over a WR in 3WR crowded room, so while it doesn't make sense to take that gamble over elite TEs and QBs, or even good RBs, in regular leagues I doubt you'd have to, and beyond that I don't think he's unfairly priced relative to other WRs. It just feels more like a bestball boosts WR prices in drafts issue. Even in that format though, I think Nabers is going where he's going because of the upside projection. Someone like Christian Kirk is probably safer to be WR12-24, but Nabers likely has access to higher boom weeks, which matters more in this format. He also is a rookie, where they peak more in the second half of the season where the payouts occur, another artificial format boost for him. Beyond that, even though it feels weird to take "lesser" or riskier WRs all the way in the 3rd, I'm not sure how you beat it. I don't think you can really punt the position in this format. Feels like the market is just more accurate to the game's own rules this year.
Nope, he's in a committee rb room now. On top of that the Packers are a pass heavy team, since Love took over. Packers rbs don't put up much fantasy wise in last 2 years.
I have both LaPorta and Kelce in my 10 player keeper. What should i ask for either of them? It's a point league and ive won 2 years straight, so i hoping for the 3 peat. I feel like i should move one of them. Which and for how much? Im keeping Dak, Lamb, AJ, Olave, Dell, LaPorta, Kelce, Pacheco, James Cook, and either DJ Moore, Diggs, or Davonte Smith. Which is the last receiver and who should i trade? Thanks in advance. Love this channel. Year long Fantasy player/watcher and i love BDGE.
The issue with LaPorta is that if he's the guy you need in the playoffs then thats all that matters, on Underdog. And its very possible he explodes, they have a great playoff schedule. Get over the ADP, draft him at avg. ownership.
Got laporta at the 4.8 today. 44th overall, Cant beat that. also, "hollywoods best season wr29 in ppg in 2021", except he didn't have Lamar Jackson for the last 5 or 6 games. his ppg with Lamar was absolutely top 12 wr ppg.
Damn, Olave over Marvin Harrison? Expounding on how dialed up these drafts are with Brock Purdy as the third QB selected in this draft is just hilarious
I have to disagree on Nabers. He’s walking into 140+ targets and has hyper athleticism. I understand the fear (Danny Dimes) that he might not perform, but he’s a good enough player that can absolutely beat you if you don’t get shares of him at ADP. Look at the guys in the area - Diggs & DJM (3-headed monster wr rooms), Pittman & Flowers (rushing QB’s). I think it’s worth the risk personally. Still love the videos though!
I thought Jones had some injury clause in his contract that means he'll likely get benched if he sucks or the team is losing. I think Nabers will smash if Lock gets in there, but I could be wrong about Jones.
Jacobs is going to smash! The Raiders O-line was a$$ and Jacobs had THE most stacked boxes last year. Green Bay profiles as an explosive offense this year. You also missed when Lefleur said that, “I think he is very capable of being a high-volume feature back, where he’s getting a bulk of the carries, but we will see how it plays out,”. You’re off on Jacobs. He’s going to be an absolute beast.
Just wanna say for Laporta tho, if you’re doing enough drafts you will see him fall… I’ll take him in the same range as Kelce McBride Andrews in the 4th once the wr cliff hits
I have LaPorta in a keeper league with in 8th round I would not like to take him in the first three rounds but he is a sure fire pick from fourth round on.
Flowers splits differential was also because he was a rookie they were ramping up slowly Betting on second year WR is historically a good bet So not getting the fade for Cooper Kupp is clearly looks undraftable to anyone with a dynasty eye I do like your Mixon over Jacobs take and Nabers being over priced
I was pumped to have Kelce & Mahomes last year, I’m not touching them this year. He spent most the season on my BB bench, Goff & LaPorta were my bench and had top #s.
Malik Nabors got picked right after LaPorta. Yet no criticism? LaPorta had 889 yards receiving on 86 catches to go with 10 touchdowns. Nabors would be lucky to have those numbers. And those numbers are very repeatable. ADP is as ridiculous as people laughing when Gibbs was picked. You pick players not ADP or someone's determination of what is right. Players win you championships not ADP.
This draft is complete shit 1st of all. 2nd of all, you're ignoring the obvious which is that people are trying to build unique rosters that win. Is Zay at the 2-3 rich? Yes. But if he pops off, who else is going to have him with Taylor and Gibbs? This isnt redraft lol.
Josh Jacobs is a bad pick?! Feels like 2022 all over again, JJ will be my MOST owned player. People used to pick Aaron Jones in the 2nd & 3rd and HE SPLIT CARRIES, unless everyone just forgot. Jacobs (who's better than Jones) in the 4/5 mainly b/c of Lloyd is nonsense to me; he should be getting picked right around where Kyren is. Josh Jacobs has never dominated 3rd downs so if he loses a little work there to Lloyd he'll still catch plenty of passes, but more importantly we will DOMINATE the goalline work for an up and coming offense. Forget what Lafleur says, I heard the same things when Josh McDaniels came to OAK. Lafleur will realize, like McDaniels did, that Jacobs is too good to be in a "platoon" period, end of story. Where I agree is that White & Mixon are better values, BUT BOTH OF THEM HAVE RIDICULOUS ADPs TOO!!! White & Mixon in you home league by August with be 2nd and 3rd picks, book it.
@dylanhebel371 Congrats on winning a 🏆 w/ Jacobs! Good question, I think there are a ton of paths you can go with quarterback this year. In seasonal leagues, I have had a ton of success with late-round QBs. I switched to drafting earlier quarterbacks in recent years but I'm going to switch back to late-round quarterback this year. Even though I don't feel the top-end quarterbacks are bad picks, the end of the QB1 tier has so much upside with players like Dak, Jordan Love, & Kyler plus the rookies Caleb & Jayden. I would rather take one of those guys hoping I get lucky and they end up finishing in the top 5, or draft multiple QBs in this tier depending on your league's propensity to draft QBs
Hard disagree on mcconkey and jacobs but specifically jacobs. They paid him, they have an out in the contract in 25, and Lloyd fumbles and dillon is fat and slow. They gonna run his ass in the ground this year
Bruh this take on Jacobs is absolutely insane. Jacob’s should be going borderline first round. They drafted Lloyd because they don’t have a 2 back. Dillon is literally the worst RB in the league. Jacobs was running against 8 men in the box every single play last year. The packers can stretch the field with weapons literally everywhere. I guarantee Jacobs goes for 1200+ yards and 10+ TDs. Easily.
@@CallMe_Cap Dillon was 48th in ypc among 50 qualifying players. 3.4 yards per carry. Compare that to Aaron jones when he came back. Same o-line same everything, night and day. He was 3rd worst in the NFL in yards below expected. Or check this out, 8 runs of over 10 yards out of 180 carries. Once out of 23 carries he gets 10 yards. Only one rush of over 20 all season. To put it into perspective, James Conner had 31 runs over 10 yards, chuba Hubbard had 21, Zach charbonet had 16. Dillon statistically by every metric is the worst RB in the nfl. He’s a big slow dud that’s supposedly a power back but somehow he’s 30th in yards after contact😂 show me a worse RB
Zay Flowers ADP should be swapped with Jordan Addison. Addison is a better player skill wise. Even if he is behind JJ and receiving from JJ, he is still more trustworthy than Zay Flowers.
