My Dads hairy as hell, full set of chest hair and hairy legs. He's about to turn 60 and still has a full set of hair. So not sure about your theory there.

My father had blonde hair like me and went bald, my brother has black hair like my mom, went bald (I saw a photo of him at age 19 and he was a NW2 already) and here I am at almost age 23 with only a mature hairline and no signs of MPB. So hair color is not the deciding factor I guess. My brother inherited my moms hair color but my fathers MPB and I inherited my fathers hair color, but my moms hair structure (there's no MPB in her family)

My one friend is completely bald, can’t even grow a beard.

Hey nick, I was wondering if you could do a video on drugs and hair loss. Since I was 14 I was a pothead burnout, smoked/drank daily. In college it continued on top of hard drugs. I’m 24 now and just changed my lifestyle. I noticed ever since I’ve been sober my hair loss has slowed. I’m well aware of the permanent damage I’ve done on my developing mind and was strictly wondering your thoughts with hair loss and partying/addiction.

Grey hair thing is not true in my case. My brother got grey hair and he became bald. One of my cousin has grey hair and he went bald at the age of 20. Meanwhile , myself and rest of my cousins do not have any grey hair and did not bald yet.

I am greying actually more like going white/silver have huge amount of body hair and have a full head of hair.

My dad is 46 and he still has thick,full head of hair and my moms dad I've never met him but my sister said that our grandma showed her a pic of him and she said he has long,thick,full head of hair and when I looked at my toddler picts i had thick full head of hair so i shouldn't go bald.

intersting theory about the grey hair! How did you got that idea? It's an interesting observation! Just noticed it in general? I wonder what kind of biological mechanism is behind it. THe bodyh usually does things for a good reason. Now I think of it, I could come up with a theory. The human body uses H202 to fight of fungus and such. It is naturally ocurring in the body (most people do nott know this - they just know you can bleach your hair with it). Maybe hair goes grey (or is actually going lighter) because you have inflammation on your head (often associated with hairloss - people get itchy heads and such) and your body uses H202 to stop or lower the inflammationon the scap area, with side effect that it blaches your hair to the point it's pretty much white. I'm sure quite some people will think it's an odd theory, but it's interesting! I've used H202 for multiple things in my life ever since I read about it's power. (only use 'FOOD GRADE') so not your typical hair bleach which has chemicals in it. Well I have removed moles with it. Just put a drip of h202 on them multiple times a day for some days, and they will dissapear. It heals incredibly fast after that too. It does sting a bit when you apply it. Also have I used it when I walking in bare feet at home and boiling water fell on my feet, and some skin even came immediately came off. It looked pretty gross, but I put my feet in a tub of water with h202 and within 3 hours I had literally no pain more at all. It healed pretty fast too!. I could just touch it and it felt normal...very odd, but interesting! Theory already supports the idea that balding and facial hair go together (high DHT) ,so I think indeed it's a good observation that hairy guys go bald. I wonder how that works for me since I do hair quite decent chest hair and quite a decent beard, but i totally lack armpit hair. I have a few hairs , but it's so thin it looks pathetic (lol) . About the kids with the high foreheads, I think it's important to mention that in kids, the areas that are gonna grow most when they mature into being men from boyhood, are the lower areas of their face. Male adults have or can have strong jaw, chins and such in both width and height. So while you could saw that kids have or can have larger foreheads, it depends if the rest of their face (lower half) is going to grow a lot when they mature into their teens and early twenties. Foreheads sure do look bigger when the lower half of hte face is smaller or less developed. Another example why I think your forehead has always ben larger, is your bite. I think you (nick) have a slight overbite. This usually goes together with smaller chin area. The smaller your chin area looks, respectively, the larger the rest, such as your forehead, is going to look. Then the question is whether your forehead is actually big or that your chin is small. (concrete vs abstract). It's a similar thing with most people who have a large nose. Most people who *do* have a large nose, usually also ahe a small skull. So it's no really that their nose is that big, but that the rest of their skull is under developed. Similarly people with 'big'eyes'usually have a small head too,and people with big ears, suaully have a small head too. Their noses, eyes and ears are the only part that *did* properly develop. It's not always the case, but mostly it is. Just look at people who have flappy ears. Most of them will have a tiny head or a thin head. Wide faced people hardly ever have flappy ears, because their face grew enough in width..Anyway, I'm rambling!

For the family member who has the same hair as you, does hair color matter on top of texture? Also do you have to look like this person? Skin color, eye color?

Not necessarily, look at Mick Foley. He was able to grow a beard when he was 18. He's also hairy as fuck. His hair is just as thick as it was when he was a teenager and he's 53

your 1 year old photo theory is wrong. My brother had so much thick hair then me when he was 1 year old. my hair was thinner then his. and now he's 24 years old and his forehead is showing. but the crown is still fine.

Im 24 nick and its thinning. On the crown of my head. And high hairline maybe receding also. I will probably just keep shaving it off. I did it last week. But its. Hopeless. Let me know in the comments. Should i try Rogaine or more vitamins. Or shave it off. Thanks for the help buddy

I have one gray hair since 24. Am I safe? Probably not but I have enough money for a transplant to buy me some time. I had that round hairline when I was 18 now at 26, it's straight-ish with a little bit of the corners receding.
