kobe is one of the greatest trash talkers ever he would do the same thing Jordan and Bird did. Kobe would tell his opponent exactly how he was going to score and then do then tell the other player that you can't do anything about it you should just retire or the D league wouldn't even take you. Lakers legend! I was at a Portland & Lakers game in 2003 and Kobe yelled at the Blazer bench during a timeout that they should just head to the locker room now because I'm ending this game now and that's what he did he hit the game winning 3 of a double overtime after he hit a 3 to send it into overtime. one of my greatest moments in sports.
I will give this a thumbs up and also add the way people spoke about Rodman' s game back in the day are in the same class that hate on Draymond Green's game. Both of them put in the necessary dirty work that drives any team they were ever/will ever be apart of. Rodman (HOFer btw) and Green are made from the same cloth. Different in personality but alike in work ethic, high basketball IQ, and operate with keen sense of the flow of emotion during the game and how to exploit tensions running high or providing a necessary spark when morale is running low. They just don't make players like that anymore.

When Doc got Older(35ish), LB said he no longer has to prepare days in advance to play against Doc! Did NOT need 2B said in Public when LB was in his Prime! LBs back quit on him & I often wonder what other SFs said about LB then! I respect LB but father time is undefeated and DOC was an ambassador of the game! Only player I ever saw DOC lose his cool with and get PHY was vs LB + I'm a 76ers fans since 10/1971. Go 76ers! I like ALL NBA teams now since Cs got Brad Stephens & Lakers got Luke & ditched Kobe but 76ers #1!

He was just amazing at getting to his opponents head with his talk and actions and no one cam say that he didnt back it up. Just go watch his highlights and you will see that he was one of a kind and a beast on d and boards
