Endo is when you stop with front brake, back wheel in the air. Stop and turn is rolling endo. For me endo was hard. On road bike I learned to brake gradually more with back brake then front. Endo require grabbing fistful of front brake while hanging above handlebar. Goes against all instincts.. I recommend while learning endo on flat pedals wear shin protection. Especially on pedals with pins. Thank me later.

Thanks, great tips even if a wee bit outdated. Comfort at the extremes is essential, but comfort in the bottom bracket axle is where comfort in momentum resides. While angling the bike and front back weight shifts are key, driving the heart of the bike in the BB axle is accomplished and felt with heavy feet and light hands. Light hands let's the bike track better because it's driven through the bottom bracket, the suspension is more supple. Experiment here, stand aside your bike, lock the front brake and push the handle bars forward. The rear tire lifts like expected. OK, now put a foot on the pedal, weight the bottom bracket, lock the front brake and push forward. With the BB axle lower than the wheel axle the bike is more stable than just standing there. The fork compresses thus increasing traction on the front. None of this is remotely possible with heavy hands. It's not going to just happen, be aware and as you feel it the feedback loop reinforces the light hands heavy feet mentality.

Also a nice technique is to ride on a very slow pace(2-3km/h maximum), use your brakes to slow down if needed to and try to keep balance and be stable. Still can ride a on a straight line and not falling off?!:S

Noctifago try a harder gear, too easy gear will result in you spinning out
@aaronwaller4140
@aaronwaller4140 7 лет назад
Noctifago try to find you optimal balance point, I did this by holding my back brake and sitting on my bike and trying to balance. The next key point it trying to find the right gear, I find a harder gear easier, I normally use gear 3 on the front gears and 3-4 on the back gears. Finally you will find that if you pedal to quickly you will fall backwards, don't be afraid to pedal to quickly because using the back brake sparingly will prevent this. Hope this helped

The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. ru-vid.comUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.

En realidad no, lo ideal es aprender a hacerlo con pedales comunes. Luego ya con los automáticos es mucho mas fácil, lo importante es aprender que el movimiento se lo hace con todo el cuerpo, no sólo con los pies.

side question , when i lean to either side of the bike as per the exercise , my front wheels gives off this metallic clanging sound.... why is that ?
@drifterxl12
@drifterxl12 6 лет назад
El Jefe that's probably your disc brake touching the brake pads very lightly due to little bending of your wheel because of your exercise. This exercise gives more side load on your wheels. Nothing to worry about, your wheels should be able to bend a little to be able to withstand impacts
@Mademoco

Duck : i understand your doubt...you dont see this tecnic many times...! See how he keeps his arms always strait when going down and up with his fork? The trick is pushing the fork down with your body and strait arms and keep the strait arms when going up ... when going up if you dont bend your arms the spring effect will raise the front wheel...
