@@mohdmshiur6659 i find chrome and gmail to be the bloatware lol, i disabled those. I left photos for syncing my pictures with my pc. I really wish more people would try samsung internet, it has so much features, including ad blockers
Best Function on Samsung Music is the Adaptive Sound option. I noticed it really helped improve the sound for my 48 year old ears. Even having near perfect hearing, as tested just a few weeks ago, I noticed a big improvement of heard music quality after running through the setup with the earphones on. Then, after plugging it in to my stereo, it really improved the music.
Long long time iPhone user - since June 2007...my Note 9 came this morning. This thing is a beautiful beast. I admit Android, the Samsung UI is a - fun - learning curve so far! :)
After pre-ordering on 8/20, my Note9 & free gift (AKG N60 headphones) are finally scheduled to arrive later today. Even though I've owned every Note since the original, I do forget a few of the apps I've came to love over the years. 'Samsung Music' will be the first thing I download after I transfer everything over from my Note8. Thanks for reminding me Saki! Btw I use my Note8 very heavily daily, my internal storage is 98% full, and it still runs excellent! Right now I have 8 apps open, I'm checking social media, and streaming RU-vid to my tv through the RU-vid app on my phone, with ZERO lag. Idk about those who say the Note8 lags after a few months as mine still runs like new! Thanks for all your great Galaxy Note videos Saki!

I did not get the reason to install sound assistant! You can justify the volume just using the volume buttons much easier than using this floating button. Am I missing sth?
Thanks for this video when I bought my phone we took around 40 min transfering all my files mostly music and I saw this phone and went darnet there isn't a music app I wasted all that time but luckily I saw this video thanks
the edge lightning has been disabled on the music player option Two edge lightening + has been removed from Galaxy store, good news you can download it an app called NiceLock which is a developer app, and don't worry it's safe and if you feel like buying it to help them you can find in the play store, all apps are only compatible with Samsung devices only Finally millions of thx for this great review which is still standing and getting likes up to date Cheers

What option is needed is a balance option to make the bottom speaker softer than the ear piece or top front facing speaker since the bottom speaker is louder than the ear piece making the stereo effect un even.All good Stereos and all the old stereos have some kind of audio balance control.
Why would I want to touch the sound button on the phone to cause another button to deal with the volume when I could of done that when I touched the 1st button? Isn't that like turning the car key to start the motor then turn it off then turn it back on again so that you can get some kind of mystery thrill doing the same thing two times.?
If your hands aren't available to pick up the device, but can touch the screen like with wet nails, or if you break your hand and it's in a cast, or something like that
Thanks for the video. Edge lighting plus is pretty cool, just turned it on and messed around with the settings. But Samsung Music is huge! Probably never would have found it if I didn't watch this. Thanks for the tip.
Hi Saki, The only one of these that I would use with my Samsung would be "car mode". The rest of these are either things that I already have, or are just fluff.

I have heard that some people have not completely entered their phone in the USB C, and thats why doesn't work. With a slightly thin blade, tighten the rubber of USB C in U shape plug until the phone fits well into the C-socket. Then it goes!

Do not place Sound Assistant floating icon to the bottom left or right corners of your Note 9. You will not be able to re-position it once you do. You will have to uninstall then re-install the application to get it out of either of these locations.
Once people complained about samsung software.. now asking to install.... I am Samsung fan and a note 9 user... i already have all this in my phone.. Good video... let note 9 users enjoy the excess features Samsung provide ....
Wow that Sound Assistant is awesome and but the edge lighting thing is not on the Note 8 . Must be a Note 9 thing. But I have all th others and the voice recorder....wow I didn't realise it could turn text to speech and that cute edge lighting in the Samsung Music awesome!!!! It is running Oreo out of the box actually. I have Edge lighting but not the option to get more like that boomerang effect. The Edge Lightning app is not in my Galaxy App store. Another thing that is missing is the option to buy themes from the Samsung theme store...I only get the free ones and I don't have the animated (video) lock screen option either. Come to thing of it I could never buy themes on any of my Samsung phones. Is this a regional thing because I'm not in the States because if it is, it sucks. Maybe they think something is wrong with my money lol I'm running Oreo 8 and samsung experience 9.5 btw. Anyone else have these issues?
@@flicka25 I'm having issues trying to buy themes also. At least the ones that also come with phone tone and ring tone. It has a notice that it may not work on higher software systems, whatever that means. I just know it won't let me buy them or even try them out for free .
Just got my 9. Fav feature so far is iris unlock. It's so fast. Barely look at it and phone opens. Got $600 for my galaxy9+ sale back to att and 2 note9's at one for 75% off. Bill only went up $40 and I added a line and gave number to family member for $40per month. . 20gb a month on each phone.

On my note 9 i have.... -greenify -snaptube ( for music downloads) -shareit lite (paid) i dont like original shareit so many ads -mega app -ping monitor -mxplayer pro ( paid ,its better than non pro) -dgreatmusic plus ( music player paid many effects for music like power amp pro -svplayer "not paid " plan to buy pro version coz it can play your videos in 60fps -zarchiver pro -snapseed -cod mobile -asphalt 9 legends
If you guys are wanting the edge lighting all you have to do is go to settings>display>go down to edge screen> click on it> then click on where it says edge lighting and there you have it. No I didn't have to download anything. It's already on the phone. Yes I have the note 9 as well

Question: for Samsung Music... Where did you get your music? Is there a companion site? Or can I just download music from Google Play Music, Tidal, iTunes, etc.?
Yes. It will play if it's downloaded to your device. I also know an app that lets you download videos from any site. It also lets you convert them to MP3. It's called Vidmate. It's not on app stores so you have to get an apk. For that go to aptoide. Hope this helps!

Q? Saki? When using smart switch from Note8 to Note9, should i download the Samsung Music and Voice memo apps to the Note9 before transferring all the data? The Note8 has these apps but don't know if they will transfer in the switch? Or will they transfer to the Note9???

me too, i can't find it on galaxy apps. it looks like samsung delete this and changing the apps to non free apps. because the apps that simillar to edge lighting, show up with price to download.
I've played it on the device and it runs great. I haven't noticed any issues at all and it is significantly smoother than it was on my LG V20 (Snapdragon 820 based).

NO the apps you see on your home screen or other screens are shortcuts. Try uninstalling one...it disappears from home screen and app drawer. But you can have two accounts for some apps like messenger, instagram and FB for instance. That probably means you will have an exact replica of the same app but with a different account.
Very nice apps thanks for you work and videos. Question is there 3D Touch like when you have background pictures when you touch it it moves and also for apps as well like apple have I just switched from apple to Samsung note 9
