@David Boi239 congrats just got one myself, came from a one plus 7 pro which I still have and use as backup media phone but this Note 20 ultra is amazing. Never going back to another phone as long as this style can remain consistent.
SAME!!! I'm a person that has NEVER EVER had a current phone. I'm always at least 3 yrs behind. But I just got an amazing deal with tmobile to upgrade. I traded in my s9 plus and got $800 in credits, so the note 20 ultra came out to 399.99 I'm still in disbelief that I have something this nice. Congrats to you 🙂 I know exactly how you feel (even though your comment is a couple months old hehe)
At first i saw the tutorial is 30mins and thought i would never finish watching it. then as each of the top notch content rolled out one by one, i found myself pausing and actually trying them out one by one... took me perhaps an hour to digest the entire clip. Great tips there, thanks!
Got mine yesterday ... thank you so much for your tutorials...without them..this super exceptional phone would be only used at 5% of its capabilities... 🙏🙏🙏
Just got mine today (upgrading from a S9+). I LOVE my Note so far. Before the S9+, I had 3 iPhones. Never going back to Apple phones... The Note is just the perfect device for me so far. I got the Black model and love it. I also always put mine in a case and I prefer the black s pen. This phone is so fast!
You can change your screen to have way more than 5x6.. enable developer option, go into the developer options and change the DPI to whatever you want. I like 550dpi on the note 9 which is my current phone. But when my Note 20 ultra gets here on Wednesday ill be changing it to probably 600. This makes everything on the screen WAY smaller, icons, text, notification bar, everything. meaning you have WAY more room on the grid.. and you can therefore make it whatever you want.. 10x10, 20x10, 50x50.. whatever you want. I think everything being super small makes everything look way better. Just like on my pc i have the scaling set to the smallest possible (100%) because the more room you have the better it looks and the more space you have for everything. Especially on these massively amazing screens, you dont need huge icons and text for them to look good. You can have the best of both worlds. Tons of screen real estate AND clear good looking icons and text, etc.
Thanks, Saki, for another great video! Your video about the Note9 inspired me to get one, now I've purchased a Note20 Ultra and I need to learn how to use it.
Saki!!! Can you make a battery optimization video? All the settings we need to have to have the best battery performance? Please sir, I would appreciate it 😁
My Note 20 ultra has some different ( or is missing ) options that you are explaining. For example, no Edge lighting!! Searched,. etc, There were some other small differences, but I can't remember which as they didnt matter to me. I would have enjoyed the edge panel lighting feature! Just got my Note via Amazon a few days ago. Your thoughts on this?
Sheila, the edge panel lighting is in a different place than where it is on his phone. Why I don’t know. You can find them under notifications, then brief pop-up settings. I love the dye lighting. Hope this helps.
Already great tips here to keep me occupied when i do my transferring madness which i hate.....but waiting for my case and screen guards to come before i do that and thank you so much for your time i can truly get to know a few things ❤
I just got my Note 20 Ultra 5G and this is an awesome video. I've been following along and making appropriate changes, but the Edge Screen button is not in the Display area of Settings. How do I turn on that cool feature of having the edges of the screen light up when I get a call or a text?
I just got off the phone with Samsung Support. They said that the most current software updates don't include this feature any longer. They could not explain to me why. Although you didn't cover it in this video (probably because it's so basic), another feature that isn't supported is the ability to add your own notification sounds in the phone like you can add your own ringtone. Every other phone I've had allowed me to make my own notification sounds and ringtones or download them from a 3rd party. My $180 Galaxy A21 let me add my own sounds. Heck, my free Obama phone let me add my own sounds, but not my $1300 Flagship! Go figure. A minor inconvenience? Maybe. And maybe it's unreasonable to expect a $1300 phone to have all the whistles and bells that are available in the budget models... and then some.
@Madpenciler saki has recently made a vid on battery saving, see that n also set that medium power saving with 120Hz by using bixby. Try em it will help for sure🙂
Looks like I'm behind on phones. I just got my Note 20 ultra for Christmas. I never even seen this phone so I had no expectations. Thank you for the tips.
Its sept 2024 and I have just got a reconditioned one as they are no longer new phones....I'll put up with a bad battery as I'm not at work I'm retired and it's just an awesome looking mobile to play with can't wait to really get started and be at one with it !
Well, that's because he reused nearly ALL the stuff in his previous video from 4 days ago here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SZccVFpnccU.html Only the 1st tip he had in this video is not in the previous one. I skimmed through the first half of this and decided not to waste any more time with this video, so maybe the 2nd half might have different contents. Anyway, thumbs down for such laziness, probably just want to gain views for ads revenue or something.
I really thank you for this video. I bought my Note 20 last month, and there is so much to learn. The Home Screen settings do not give me the home screen layout, home screen grid, or the apps grid options that you talk about. The user manual also says those options should be there. Tried unsuccessfully working with Samsung chat support. Please help. Thank you.
I still use a galaxy 7. Removable battery. Once in a while I get a frozen screen. Even though I optimize about once every two weeks. As I understand it, these new phones don't have removeable batteries. What to do?
I cannot find the video enhancer @9:50. I am following all the steps but it's not there. I have the 20 note ultra. Ok, I think I found it, or what used to be it. It's now called VIDEO BRIGHTNESS. the screen is identical to your, but different title.
17:02 When you double tap the screen, you can see the lock screen with wallpaper. Can you share how should I setup so that I can see the wallpaper on lock screen?
Dude, go to your TIME TRANSPORT app, click on "back-in-time" then to 1968 Universal Studios and, holding your cell phone, press ACTIVATE. When you land, catch up with Leo Nemoy and costume up into a star fleet uniform. Finally, have the director film you instructing first officer Spock how to use the Samsung note 20 Ultra. (Don't forget to return back to the future when finished.)
Hi Saki, why can't I send more than 3 pictures at a time? Sometimes it only allows me to send two pictures. I used to send up to 10 pictures at a time as MMS. Can you fix that? Thanks
50 nuggets for our phone, northern Idaho in the house, Saturday May 8th 12:16 at night, I'm definitely ready to drill down into these features on my note 20 ultra.👍🤓💯✌️in.
18:05 regarding launching the shortcut of the two apps, when I pressed and hold to login with finger print, sometimes those two apps just wouldn't show up, but instead of that, it shows only main screen. So I'm just wondering have you or anyone else run into the same issue as well sometimes?
I just got my Note 20 Ultra but i cannot find "edge lighting" option. has it been removed? My phone came with Android 11 One UI 3.1. All the options are different from your phone. Please can you help?
Why does my phone sometimes request a pin unlock? Say's need to enter pin after phone restart, when I never restarted the phone and nothing scheduled for restart?
My Bixby doesn't unlock my phone anymore when I say hi Bixby to activate for my morning pre set commands. So when I say Hi Bixby, "Good Morning", it now say's please unlock your phone first! It defeats the purpose of using it hands free when waking up in the morning when I can't see it! How do I get back to the original voice unlocking setting??? And the location "Smart lock" doesn't work, either by address, Longe/Lat ect..
You got any tips for making the fingerprint sensor work? I've already went through the settings and made it less secure. It's so annoying to pay this much for a phone that delays my log on constantly. This is my 4th note and I know how to use it
