Easy tip for support players : dnt use tp, if you don't know enemy position or don't understand what to do or where to be, just walk to a lane. This is in relation to split push also, dnt tp to split push, unless you are the survivor of a team fight.

Playing support in low mmr is a real hell. You take responsability for your cores dumbness and mistakes, which is hard. Cores dont know how to farm or involve in fights, dont care of your smokes and dont defend your wards. They flame you for not having lvls or items while also flaming you for recycling farm waste when they dont take it. They dont know when and how to take objs like towers and RS. Ive seen a lot of ppl playing pos1 carry on a pos2. Or picking low farming heroes on pos1. Typically and culturally, players want core position because it allows them to be dicks, to have easy game, when being a core means being responsible and understand your job. A lot cry for you being in lane with them, putting pressure on enemy, then yell at you to pull while not even knowing when the creep lane has to go back to tower. Then yell at you again for leaving them alone because you went on to pull or ward or bounty. In some, very difficult to execute proper supporting with babies as cores

I play in 7k mmr and I can tell u for sure that u notice that people dont play pos 4 when they let u making an stack pull, its the best thing u can do as a pos 5

i hate the games when the pos 1 or mid insta buys tome at min 10, here is me a lvl 4 or 5 support walking around for a while pinging the one who bought it to leave their lane so i get 6🤣🤣

To all carry players im a pos 5, when we stack pull pls just B and wait for us, i have lost so much advantage in games where my carry doesn't listen to me, when i say B im pulling, you maybe lose one or two cs but we can still contest in lane, with the pull we will have a level advantage.

Well for the tome part i am mid player i always buy it at min 10 and give it to the lowest level in my team and i never let him pay 75 gold and always buying sentry and give the supp but unfortunately no supp in my team example he play ogre first item midas no supp items so either i go fully solo mod or i lose the game and the funny part when you ask them to buy wards they said (stfu noob)

The sad thing about support, no matter how good ypu are, you still lose of you have a shytt carry

Omg that last one. Had a game last night where our Jugg carry WOULD NOT come rosh at 25 min. Instead he farmed a small camp them shoved too far up the lane and got eviscerated not once but twice -again at 35 min. He threw the game at the end by jungling instead of helping hit the ancient. We lost by a hair because of that MF... the chat was very colorful. Lol.

you tell every one builds and itemization and farming habits which can not be discounted. you never speak about positioning dependent upon the role. meaning, where should jakiro be, where should aa be, where should cm be, at the beginning of a team fight. if theres an ogre and tb on your team, and youre aa, can you be agressive? if ogre bloodlusts you? these things matter and are not addressed. a lot of gaming this game depends on literal, actual, physical positioning. if you are out of range from a team fight or altercation, you may as well be in fountain.

Speeed, PLEASE tell supports to dissasemble their arcane boots when they buy aether lens etcetra. 800 gold is 8/15 of a ghost scepter, or a veil of discord, mek, drums, medallion... in return for getting rid of mana they dont need anyway. And pos 4s to stop abandoning their lanes and drill the point home again about not being afk while the pos 5 pulls...

Tip 1 Does not work as much in SEA. Everyone in the team contest that tome, like spamming quickbuy starting at 9.50.

Alot of pos 4 and 5 supports esp in crusader and guardian should know that. Most mvps these days in that bracket are supports not core

In WUE all supports do is buy sentries and blocking camo. Yesterday in 5 matches I spent 250 gild for buying sentry blocking and unblocking camps.😂😂😂 don't know how it is in NA

(Me being told not to smoke by pos 1-3 on my team, me getting pinged and yelled at not to defend towers. (Getting told to leave lane so my carry can have more exp. pinged out of every lane and pinged for being in the jungle putting wards up pinged for my shit wards. Then pinged out of my wards so the team can be in my wards.) (Me still salty from my last few games) (Me being usually level 14 on losing games with near level 25 teammates. Me being nearly 25 on winning games. With similar level teammates)

"Buy Tome" yeah easy to say when you, not only spam buy againts other support my mid laner often buy them aswell knowing both supps haven't reached 6 at min 10

Being a new player and low MMR, the tome gets ignored so much it's kinda sad. Many times as mid I just get it when ignored for 30 seconds and drop it in an inventory if I happen to walk past them, but completely misses a powerspike point.

Truthfully (one of) the hardest things to do in Normals, or Any Rank (outside of the top top top) is getting your teammates to go to Rosh. It is akin to agony at times.

Guys last time I played dota was in 2014 and i used to main pos 5. Now i came back and there is role queue and open queue. I played on role queue and got placed at archon 1 but I saw a lot oftop player people playing on open queue, is it better? Or should I stick with role queue

Honestly the hardest part about supporting is getting your carries to not dive 1v2 when you contest vision or do a pull. They just blame nonstop, and proceed to throw the game out the window because you (god forbid) did what they didnt want in that moment. Yes, this is a rant... and sadly the situation happens so much more often than you would think.

Unfortunately, 3rd rule and above are so ideal in lower brackets because dota is a team game. It never works if you're the only player who thinks what's best and others have their own minds especially on rule 5. They would think that after an enemy wipeout and they still has t2 towers, they should continue pushing and THEN rosh like why the heck would they do that after the enemy respawns? it's so bizarre
