I would like to add a couple details to Erik Darnell’s story: 1. All of his top 5s and top 10s in the Nationwide Series came during a part-time season with Roush in 2009. Most of his actual starts came in 2012 driving for Key Motorsports, which was awful, so he didn’t do much good in it. 2. Most of his top 5s in the Craftsman Truck Series came in 2008, where he was on a hot streak, getting 9 top 5s and a win to finish 4th in points. But after that season, he was let go from the truck and was given only a part time ride from Roush for 2009 and was left for the dust after that. He didn’t even run a single truck race after his 2008 season.
Larry Foyt runs AJ Foyt Racing... Steve Park probably for hit him tho. Scott Pruett... Noone forgot him. His career lasted like 30 years. He just retired this year. 30 years of hi to my family back home.
Robby Post How did Scott Pruett have 30 years in NASCAR? He had a horrible season in 2000 and vanished after that, with only a couple more races to his name. Same for Larry, as he DNQd several times in his only full-ish cup year in 2003.
You were born in 1995??? I mean, yeah, your're in your mid 20's now, but I am now 46 and still unable to come to terms with this. Having a teenage daughter does not help. It's weird to me meeting and talking to younger fans who never saw Dale Earnhardt race. God I'm old. I should buy an urn.

Nascar as a corporation needs to give smaller teams a cushion so to speak where they cover the costs. NASCAR is a dying sport today and it kills me shit has to change before it folds all together and ends up being the biggest pyramid scheme in all the world
