I just really, really want dinamic, colored lighting! Imagine if torches and glowstone had a yellow tint, prismarine lamp had a white/light blue tint, and just colored lamps overall! That would be insanely cool!

An easy way to fix the redstone wires connecting would be to color code them to separate them. Just an easy fix if it ever does get noted by the Minecraft team.
Neon Blocks - They give off light and are a completely single colour but come in all current colours of Minecraft. You can make it give off light by crafting it with a torch and you can craft it without a torch to not give of any light.
Oohh I already understood how you made this, the command block are making the armor stands to tp into the barrier block, as you summon the armor stands with the block in his hand (for making the models) you create a barrier, so the armor stands stay there, and if you brake that barrier the entity dies, cool job! I couldn't make that cuz I'm too lazy lmao
I definitely agree wethe idea of placing stairs sideways. In addition, I'd want the same for slabs, plus have a block that is the inverse of a stair, so one that has air where stairs have wood/stone and have wood/stone where the stairs have the gap.
It woud be great if we could place glass panels horizontally, that way we could make domes and solariums and more things like that without having to use glass blocks
There is a mod that allows for light sources to produce all different colors of light but sadly it is very buggy and makes multiple bugs in the lighting engien
Everything here bar the glass deserves to be in the game, I think. Customisation is really damn useful for a game like this. Instead of how you did the glass though, I think a shutter block you can have either centred or on the side of a block which opens and closes could work really nicely
Another thing with the stairs could be adding better joints. Like with you sideway stairs and regular stairs making them be able to joint and merge smoothly it will make it look real seemless and nice.
Hey i would love to craft 9 redstone components together to make a integrated circuit it should be placed on a stone slab to work It should be a custom layout of parts So craft components together place it on a slab and then turn the components with a hit until it works as a normal sized redstone contraption
The 3d Redstone was a great idea but the one thing that bugged me that could be improved is the visual side of it, it could be thinner or at least a bit more pleasing to look at, yes I know this was just prototype items / blocks but if this was serious things then I would recommend improving the visuals of that :)
I imagined a redstone conection too. You can craft 3 types of redstone cables: *Line (2 conections, like chains) *Cross (4 conections, like fences) *Asterisk (6 conections, like redstone cubes)
Here's an idea! Superconductive Redstone The recipe [R] [R] [R] [R] [B] [R] [R] [R] [R] R- Redstone Dust B- Redstone BLock This block would make it so that redstone can conduct a signal forever (or a higher but limited amount like maybe 64 blocks), without the use of repeaters! This idea can be applied to the redstone wire idea at the end of the video, it's a very flexible idea with many possible variations but I think this really might fit in with the rest of Minecraft's redstone blocks. I am open to any other ideas that you may suggest though.
Imagine Mojang would introduce a wrench item that could be used to separate red stone circuits that sit right next to each other. If you right click or left trigger it would get rid of the connection. And to reverse it you would right click on the two red stone lines in order to connect them again
I know that the video is already a few years old but basically they made blocks where some of them are allready in Mods (and in the mods are way more efficient) since years at the time of the video ^^
There is a mod for colored lights in 1.12.2 (Albedo torches) but it's not perfect and I'm still waiting for someone to do it better. I really need something like that for my project, so if you have any news about colored lights, tell me

3D-redstone is really the thing they shoul.... khm, they must add to the minecraft! 1) Instant vertical transmission. 2) Makes your contraptions a lot more compact, also you can make vertical transmissions silent. 3) Saves your time (using this block is obviously faster and simpler than another methods.) Unfortunately, i don't think they're going to add something like that soon.
With your skills implementing these things with data packs, I would love to see what you could do with a mod loader where the sky's the limit. There are some incredible mods, and I feel that there are a lot of data pack creators that have brilliant minds that could do amazing things in forge or fabric.
12:24 You might want to look at Redstone Conduits from the EnderIO mod which basically do this. Regarding not connecting maybe the wires can be dyed to separate? E.g. green wire, blue wire.
Absolutely YESSSSSS to sideways stairs. Been wanting them for ages :). Them windows nice idea but not minecraft. Those wood beams are cool. Coloured lamps also cool, but can the light that is limited be coloured? Redstone interesting idea but kinda ugly. Out of all of these I really want Mojang to implement the sideways stairs.
this is so an old video, its MINDBLOWING that 3D redstone or a more like the mod "red power" that's now not updated anymore, still NOT IN VANILLA MC. seriously, MINDBLOWING.
One question though, how would the sideways stairs work? Like how owuld the stairs be able to tell if you wnat them sideways or not, or would they be a different block? I would personally love this idea though, something i would really need!

Yep yep side way stairs are something I have so wanted big time great work love it totally, very nice windows ideas they would be so perfect, l love the wooden beaming idea big time yes please. Being able to Dye and to change the lighting is perfect yes please, really like the red stone tube blocks that would be great.
That last item could also be changed by the color of the glass, as grian said (glass around and redsnotne in the middle) and like that it would be cool circuit organization (maybe different colors wouldn't connect only with another block that was a connector?) more work for you? 😂
I don’t really work with command blocks but I think I have a work around for the redstone tubes instead of it putting a redstone power source at the end maybe give it the same code as normal redstone as in when it gets powered
