More tips: Craft furniture to unlock some recipes for loom, glas furnace & silk recipe from Tish. (Often saw questions about these when playing, but I'm on nswitch so hard to type) Something very important! Do things like harvesting (gardening levels up that way), crafting, cooking while your focus bar is full, so don't let yourself go hungry/run on an empty stomach! When you have focus exp. boost from the phoenix statue later (I suggest you invest in that mainly at 1st) it'll be a waste else, especially if you want to level up gardening, don't harvest on an empty stomach I learned this the hard way. If you're on empty stomach you can gather/forage flowers/herbs etc. as they drain your focus a lot compared to mining & chopping trees etc. You can also fish too on your plot so if you don't want to hunt to cook you can fish or farm or forage to cook later..;)
I'm always forgetting about that Focus bar. I've been good at leveling it and the focus percentage boost up, but bad at eating to keep it full. Thanks for the additional tips!
Bug catching and foraging in Bahari at the coast. Crabs are easy to catch and there is an abundance of forageables on the beaches, all of which can be sold. Unopened oysters are excellent, as you can eat the raw oysters and have a chance to receive a white or green pearl to sell.
I love trying to do things that level multiple skills at once. Oysters are a great example of that... You can level cooking and foraging plus have a chance for a pearl for extra $$. Thank you for the suggestion.
When I started out back in August I started my garden as well, but I fished out of my pond first to get some gold started, then I went to mining. We didnt have the gems at the time, but now that you can find gems in stone as well as copper, iron and palium nodes its a good way to make quick gold. Copper and stone would be a good starter for anyone who has a standard pick, then when your lvl gets high enough in mining go to Hodari and get ur recipe for the fine pick, this way you can start gathering your iron and palium and those hidden gems inside.
That's true. When I was thinking of this video, the starstones were just introduced and I'm still not sure if they are going to be needed for future collections or any special uses. I would at least keep one of each type in your inventory just in case.
You will need gatherables later, so collect absolutely everything you can. Sell half and stow or use the rest. Get the seed maker as soon as it is available so you wont have to spend money on seeds.
thank you so much for this !! I have been ignoring farming for a while and this encouraged me to try gardening (not just for profits, but because it also looks pretty having so many plants surrounding you)
I love playing with the different arrangements of plants. You can also separate or move the individual garden plots around to make things more aesthetic as well. Hope you're enjoying the game.
thank you for sharing the farm plot site, i was doing my planning by hand! i was just wondering whether or not there was some site i could use and this popped up on my feed i was so happy to see you found one!
My idea is to make and sell the starter arrows! The use only flint and wood, both of which are easy to get from mining and chopping in your first hour of the game!
Thank you for the support! I thought I'd give content creation a try in November... so I'm still fairly new and figuring everything out. Glad you enjoyed the video.
A great tip I've seen and used is just turning the tomatoes into seeds and selling those. 3 plain tomatoes sell for 69 gold, but if you put those 2 tomatoes into a seed maker, you get 2 seed bags of tomatoes which sell for 40 gold, that's 80 gold. Of course, star quality seeds and tomatoes sell for more, and if you need to, you can plant down the star quality seeds to hopefully get better odds of getting star quality tomatoes, but if you plant a lot then you get a huge return in crops and get a lot of gold passively.
Great video. Probably the only thing I would change is instead of Harvest Boost, I use 100% Weed Prevention to go with the Water Retain for AFK purposes.
Thank you for the tip and welcome to my channel. I was thinking of keeping the weeds because sometimes they are friendship gift requests and I saw that there was an achievement for picking so many weeds from your garden. If you have your friendships maxed and that achievement done (if you care about doing them)... I say try to add the weed prevention to your plot as well.
your actually way under playing hunting even late game ONLY cake parties make more than hunting. In 1 hour In kilima with standard arrows hunting sernuk I can fill my inventory with hide meat and antlers and sell it all for 10-13k. You can do this strategy at level 3 hunting as soon as you unlock standard arrows
In the very beginning I was. Once I got the Preserves Maker and the Seed Collector, I started putting my crops in those and selling the outputs. I tried to gear this video to new players of Palia that might not have everything unlocked yet.
So pets are a reward for buying outfits and skins in the cash shop. If you go to your wardrobe and click on the cash shop icon, there should be some information on the right-hand side on how to get pets. (If I'm recalling correctly off the top of my head)
This game seems both so cool but also so alpha at the same time... feels like they need another 2-3 years of feature additions to really make it last as something worth playing.
