If not yet covered them, HIGHLY suggest covering The Enslavers. They are among the most terrifying Warp Entities that everyone is terrified of, even The Imperium. Enslavers are the very reason that most societies before & after the Great Crusade feared Psykers, cause if just one psyker loses it, they will call forth the Enslavers, making them into a walking gateway for these things. And the more people these things Enslave, the more of them come out of the warp. Even Daemons of Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, and Nurgle are preferable to the Imperium & Eldar over these monsters. All it takes is just one Enslaver, and an entire planet could be doomed.
Fr like all they would have to do is have a meeting with all their demon bros and be like “so if we all get anger classes they will stop trapping us” and boom, problem solved
t'yah now piss the daemon off or deny it a kill or etc, see how fast it turns on you itself or causes someone to take it away from you. As someone gets jacked with power and the daemonic weapon is now riping your body&soul to shreds so it can feed on your mind&soul. As the new owner is hooked on the weapon like a crackhead, till he also fucks up and repeat till someone manages to destroys the weapon or frees the daemon or worse figures out its true name and does X or is somehow able to bind the weapon into a bigger weapon to power it and turn said larger weapon daemonic earning the daemons thanks for empowering it further to cause even more damage and pain Daemonic weapons not even once
@@feifeili1658so uhm warhammer came out before destiny. Also it has been well established is ceremonial magic that when summoning a demon you need to offer it an object. Because they are materialistic. This is were this idea comes from. Fun fact
Me too and got into the novels from these lore videos. I never realised how in depth it was, just thought it was painting minis and then fighting them and then I saw weshammer and majorkill and thought this is interesting and not as nerdy as I thought lol
Tell me the things your most interested in and I’ll direct you on the lore type things you’d like and find the most relevant to you. I don’t care how weird or how stupid it is I can tell you what it is you need to type in specifically lol that’s how I got hooked on 40k was because me and someone else pretty much had a conversation that went like that.
" Daemons that exist to enforce contracts. " Let's also talk about the massive daemon lord on his way to becoming a god because of all the contracts with various daemons he has and his metal daemons.
Ehhh. Westafari dope af. Majorkill was the kid back in the day thatd "bump" over the card table to try & steal your Ezras War Machine by mixing it it in with his mana cards 52 pickup style
Wouldn't be surprised if we found that Aussie's name is signed on the Epstein Island guestbook too." Oi mate, aye joss came eyeah for the scuba doiving.. Now.. Let's git ento it!"
Still don't get the Majorkill hate. Dude's blunt, but in a funny and offensive way. Not everyone's humor, but enough that it appeals to enough people. Also, I've heard the excuse it's because he's a bad lore person and the info he gives you, you can pull off the wiki. Like, maybe so. Not all lore channels have to be deep dives like Wes though, it's okay to go over basics. He also presents it in a format that is easy to get hooked on to
The Eye of the Abyss doesn't spontaneously manifest itself. It follows its target out of the Warp, which is why it can circumvent the otherwise needed rituals. It is kind of the same concept as how Daemons can manifest as a result of a Warp Tear.
my headcanon was that since it's still an Imperial vessel, regardless how twisted, it might use some sort of "reverse Geller field" or even just an actual Geller field, that instead of keeping the warp out, keeps it in while the ship is in the Emperium, but since the ship is chaotic and bizarre, it would not be able to maintain this state longer than a few hours
Erda was a whiny biitch, there saved you time wasted on her lore. Screaming about the primarchs being used as weapons, didn't she get the memo or did she honestly think the emperor went through all the effort to create them just so he could get kids to cuddle . Not to mention throwing them into the warp to "protect" them like what? Who throws their kids into literal hell to protect them?
Hail Nurgle~ The Glitchlings are my friends - they make it so much easier to melee my enemies with my plague axe after their tech & machinery got taken out.
One of my favourite weird daemons is Oliensis, a daemon world that’s actually a giant person, who ate a chapter of space marines and they re-emerged as a chaos warband
I would like to see you cover Sa’ra’am, a Khorne daemon bound to the core of Forgeworld Sarum. The planet served the World Eaters and now it manifests throughout the galaxy due to an unknown warp phenomenon.
Once again you surprise me, digging up not just one, but three primarily Calixis-associated entities. Though it will likely remain untouched by GW due to being written by another company, seeing content related to my favorite setting is always a delight. Still, it might be for the best it remains nothing but a source of obscure lore: Some secrets are better left buried, some places undisturbed, and some heresies... Unpunished. Lest the truth devour all.
I have soft spot for glitchlings. On my skull, above my left ear, even (sort of kidding, I really do have a hole due to surgery - just not due to Nurgle). They are gleeful, grubby, gurgling gremlins who just want to play with their new and often-temporary friends.
Wes, Please do an in depth video on the Allie’s of the Tao, specifically the Kroot. Or perhaps on those weird monkey aliens that make amazing weapons for the imperium.
My man Wes I beg you please do a video on the Rok’Gol they’re outright horrifying and might be a future race considering that they have ship designs and a fair share of art and lore
Thank you for making me get into Warhammer lore Weshammer. You are an awesome guy who explains this for a noob like me in an easy to understand and enjoyable way
I just imagine a forge world being ravaged by just one glitchling and all of the mechanicus chasing after it scream "come back here you little s#!t." Great video.
I really love these mystery videos on Warhammer 40k. Gives us more flavor, especially for me, on the topics of non-lore related daemons and mysterious xenos.
I've only played the games, I didnt get into the lore until I found you, Luten, and MajorKill. You 3 are the triage of Warhammer 40k lore I watch, I find the strange yet grimdark universe fascinating!
No matter how near-impossible it'd be, I'd LOVE for there to be a plot that involved salvaging a space-hulk, and that space hulk having a PRE-DARK AGE SPACECRAFT. Like, Early Space age crap.
YEEES the animated background pics are back ! awesome video , as usual ! thank you for feeding my warhammer 40 k addiction ill be waiting for my next fix thank you very much
I think the Eye of the Abyss was definitely coolest? But if I had to pick a feel good favorite it's definitely the Glitchlings. All the comedy of Nurglings with the influence of my favorite Primarch and chapter.
Those last ones sound like they would have a great work-relationship with Vashtor. Both like making deals and contracts, and both actually follow the rules they put into them.
I'm really tempted to use that demon spaceship as a template for a D&D random encounter the party could face while sailing, it only needs a dew details to be changed to go from a corrupted spaceship to a corrupted pirate ship I gotta remember to write that down
actually the eye of the abyss being ably to leave the warp at will makes sense: the demon has a ship as a body and therefore likely still has the engine components ready and running.
Wes you prob won’t see this mate but as a WH40k of 25 years I absolutely love the content. You have a real knack for this. Very easy listening and I actually like your sponsors. Good luck for the future mate.
I like the last one having to give your soul as a payment and letting the demon see you make ur move instead of just killing you and eating your soul right there and then the contractor basically treat your soul as wine and you doing something bad makes the wine taste bad
There are, as we see in recent novels, even psykers weak enough to be born with the ability to just read ONE person's thoughts and emotions. As in, they are telepaths but they just latch on to some random person and then they are stuck reading his thoughts and nobody else's until he dies or they do.
Eye of the abyss is one of my favorite beings as it's a self-contained explanation. Technology, computers, spirits, and flesh are corruptable. So, as it gets older, it will further integrate the ship. Horrific to think about corruption of geller feld generator may instead project a feld of chaos itself or make a field that allows itself and others with it to stay in real space for extended periods and warp engines alowing free movment between realms. I dont know if it's just another demon ship or if it's a unique version. But i do think it's one of my favorite chaos beings
