For a real treat, use a sashd ninjask lead with baton pass into the Kirby squad. Legal everywhere else but Smogon. Or dubwool for a bulkier and safer baton pass. But baton passing into them is just hilarious any way u look at it

would it need to learn Scald when it can already have a 100% chance to burn with Will-o-wisp? but I do like how we did get a couple fire-types who can learn Scald with Centiskorch & Coalossal (the former not really being a great user while the latter can use it quite effectively....seriously i kinda wonder why Coalossal has 80 sp.atk)

I added in a few more factors for fishous rend including a rain boost, 4x super effective, max attack, and a choice band and came out with 13770 power, the likelihood of getting that power is low but it’s possible

I've done the math ( I think it's correct ) and it's 573.75 during rain, increased to 860 if it's a crit, doubled to 1720 if it's efective ( fire, rock or gound ), and in the very specific cases where water is super efective ( not that many ), well, if they wouldn't have high physical defense, they'd get smashed with a 3440 hit. Lucky Golem, Rhyperior and Onix.

I doubt it Intimidate severely cripples it and, paired with Incineroar now getting parting shot, it can be very quickly shut down. And having to either set up for it or run a choice scarf is either unreliable or risky.

@@araceli7604 She's the one who merges the fossils together. Her name is a pun on "Careless", so she basically just slapped a T-rex fossil onto a Pterodactyl and called it a day. Apparently it's a reference to something similar happening in the U.K where someone claimed they found the missing link between Man and Ape, but really just put 2 different animal bones together

@@sparrowfox6943 It was actually really common in early paleontology for scientists to not understand how dinosaurs were probably put together so they just slapped the bones on the skeleton wherever they kinda looked like they should be. There was a classic case where they put the thumb bone (shaped a bit like a cone) of an Iguanodon on the tip of its snout. Like a rhino horn, I guess?

@@smward87, You don’t understand. That’s not the point. Zacian is Fairy/Steel, which is the most OP typing in the game, better than Duraludon. And its attack is over 1200. With max attack of 430, an ability that boosts it to 630, and Swords Dance. Zacian is too OP

Also, for dracovish, you should add maximum EVs to it’s speed and also use any items that increase water type attack damage. Do this on anyone who doesn’t have the ability dry skin, storm drain or water absorb and be prepared to *D E M O L I S H* your opponents.

252 atk 252 spd dracovish with a choice scarf, adamant, strong jaw fishious rend is what i use. comes out to over 350 speed. not the most amazing speed, but its still a nice sweeper, when it does hit first, it will hit HARD.

I give Corsola Haze instead of Whirlpool, to prevent opponents from setting up of lowering your stats. You can also use Giga Drain instead of Night Shade for a little bit of healing, but Night Shade is really solid as well.

You can actually find a cracked pot in the town with the fighting/ghost gym And Sinistea has a 10% chance encounter in the Glimwood Tangle (unless you want the authentic variant, in which case it has a 1% encounter and you also need a different item to evolve it)

Yeah, he's completely off base. Polteageist was just the early pick for most op mon of gen 8 but in reality it's pretty useless. Getting a shell smash off is already hard enough as is, even with power herb or sash its not going to live most priority physical moves because its crack ass defense stat.

@@evanwarthen1146 plus it's defense stat get's worse from shell smash & weak armor, sure a white herb can be used to remedy the drop but because that's a 1 turn thing it can't be used that reliably so in my opinion you'd have to call a switch in order to shell smash safely

@@lonefire333 Giga Drain doesn't counter dark types at all. It's a non-stab, neutral, only 75 base power recovery move. If the opponent sends in Grimmsnarl or Urshifu the Polteageist is screwed.

Wow thanks for the tip about Stored Power on Polteageist. I raised a shiny one I named Chai and its moves are: Shell Smash, Shadow Ball, Psychic, and Giga Drain. Now that I know it gets Stored Power I will definitely use that instead of Psychic

I feel as though that shouldn't work. Shed Shell is supposed to let you escape from things that are grappling you, I feel as though No Retreat should be a hardcoded exception to it. Then again, it already works with Mean Look, so whatever. That said, how often do you really WANT to switch after omniboosting yourself, since it resets your stats?

Also, Galarian darmanitan can learn belly drum which you can use after setting reflect and light screen, and I assure you at least you take away 3 pokeon or even sweep the entire team

@@leaderd8237 In that case, I think corsola would make a good job with that. That pokemon is insane. I've tried it, and it resists a +6 attack mimikyu and is able to get to a point where they will-o-wisp and then strenght sap to recover after every hit.

So I did the math and if fishious rend is used on a strong jaw dracovish, attacks first, and us 4x super effective it has a base power of, no I’m not kidding, 1530 base power, in other words non stab explosion SIX TIMES and then some Edit:I worked in a choice band and it shot up too over 2000 power, soooo yeah

I'm surprised you didn't mention Power Whip. Synergy with Coil, runs off the better Attack stat, and is just plain stronger. You could just use Will-O-Wisp if spreading burns with that Pokémon appeals to you.

To surprise people with Corsola, use the following: 1. Hex 2. Strength Sap 3. Wil-o-Whisp 4. Calm mind Ability: Weak Armor Corsola’s defense allows easy calm mind setup, and weak armor can boost speed. This allows for sudden sweep potential. Hex’s combos with burn, and I also typically set up toxic spikes before hand of which also gives the boost. Strength sap can counter the defense drop and bait people into giving you plus six speed. It’s risky, but effective.
