We have not been to the stadium or seen a fútbol match in Spain. We will have to return to see a game at the stadium because so many have recommended it in the comments. Here is the full length video of Barcelona in case you are interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcfuFEMy3JU.html

Don’t miss Montserrat Monastery it’s beautiful up there, truly a highlight. Also if you want views but want to stay in the city then visit Montjuic Castle. It’s so nice up there and the surrounding area especially at sunset.
Yes! We´ve been to the Montserrat Monastery and it was beautiful. We wanted to go to the Montjuic Castle so badly. We bought tickets for the last time slot, but couldn´t figure out how to use the funicular system, so we arrived late. The castle would not let us in. Thanks for watching the short. Here is the longer version in case you are interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcfuFEMy3JU.htmlsi=asp1N78DlwERT7kW
That city is amazing! Got to see 3 out of 5! But Park Guell looks amazing and would have love to have made time for that. Me was so tired. Flew into Barcelona met my daughter and stay there over night till we left to Valencia. Hope to return.
What a lovely comment! We are so glad you got to experience Barcelona. Ok, so you did not see Park Guell, what was the other attraction you missed? All the reason to return right? I just love the intimate shows and champagne reception the city hosts at night on top of the Gaudi buildings. I want to see the lesser known Guadi buildings too, so I need to return. Here is the full length video that features some good places to eat too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcfuFEMy3JU.html
@@theSSHITT we didn’t so the park nor the beach. Barcelona is such a fun and vibrant city! I am not one to like so much action. Mind you I had also just landed that early am. And met my daughter there, and we just ready, headed the whole day! I wanted to see so much more. The art history, the houses of Gaudi. So I hope to return. We are heading back to Europe in August. My daughter still lives in Valencia so we’ll see. 👍🏽👌🏽🙏🏽

Is there only one beach there? And do you have to pay for every single item like in Italy as in paying for sugar, paying to go to the washroom, paying to sit down, paying more to sit down in a spot with a good view, etc.?
There are multiple beaches. Our long form video shows a clip of another beach and I think lists the names of other beaches: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CtEdFPVMdbE.html around the 4:50 min mark. You don´t have to pay for sugar in Barcelona (or any part of Spain) and tap water is free and safe to drink (although it tastes a little funny in Barcelona and the waiters will forget to offer it to you). I have never had to pay to use a restroom anywhere in Spain and I´ve toured most of the country and lived in Spain twice. Like Italy, it costs more to sit at the terrace vs. inside vs. the bar. There is a little charge added onto your bill depending on where you sit. Bar is cheapest, then inside, then terrace is most expensive. Barcelona charges more to see their attractions compared to Madrid. I talk about that in the video I linked in th is comment.
We just bought an electric kia and have features some videos on it. Also, the full Barcelona video is up now if you want to check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcfuFEMy3JU.html

It’s in the short (I am walking on it’s rooftop & the scene where all the flashing lights take pace is Casa Batlló).It´s also in the longform version of this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcfuFEMy3JU.html . Casa Mila/La Predrera is coming up!
Especially in summer when you have to reserve in advance and pay to enter certain parts. I have been going there for years though and I still think it´s a must see at least once. I suggest going in the off season though. It´s quite a hike to get up there too! I cover it more thoroughly in the long form of this video where my opinion is closer to yours. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcfuFEMy3JU.htmlsi=1q3fJsUHKrcaor8d
I was so shocked when I was sitting on the upper deck of the tourist bus and saw people hanging around the streets in bikinis. Barcelona has a beach! LOL
It is still under construction. it has been under construction for 140 years since 1882. During the 1st 10 seconds of the video, Chris mentions this, albeit, quickly. It should be completed by 2030-2032ish. Click here if you want to see the full video, which explains it better: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcfuFEMy3JU.html
We had to look up what that meant! Thank you for the new word. ¡Un Mil gracias amigo/a! We have not been to the stadium or seen a fútbol match in Spain. We will have to return to see a game at the stadium. Here is the full length video of Barcelona in case you are interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcfuFEMy3JU.html
I totally understand! We are sorry to add to the 6 million visitors you get annually (although we live in Spain part time, so I am not sure if we count as tourists). But we just love your city! We can´t get enough. In our upcoming video, I am addressing how weary the residents of Barcelona are getting of tourists. The video will be published in the next few days. It´s a comparison between Barcelona and Madrid. I´ll link it here once we publish it.
