Tanny had converted from receiver to QB so he didnt have too much experience, Brady Quinn and Matt Leinert flat out sucked, and Bradford became too injury prone. Maybe David Carr was the only true one on this list who couldve blossomed under different circumstances.
Yeah but I think he’s trynna make the point that qbs take time to develop Ryan tanehill baker mayfield and Sam darnold would be solid examples of qbs having bad starts
Sam Bradford also blew his knee out twice, had multiple OCs and eventually became "captain checkdown" in systems that had no idea how to stretch the field.
Against the raiders? In any case Bryce Young is in an era where the qb is being forced to be more conservative after having no proper time in the wings. Kid was not treated well. Thing is though, the kid has a lot more heart than you give him credit for. We'll see in the next couple years.
