I made something like that last night. I cook rice with salsa, add corn, black beans and put it in a tortilla with shredded cheese. Tortillas are a staple at my house. XOXO from New Mexico

+Tic Banks I'm from northern Mexico and I just slide the tortillas over the burner until it's evenly roasted on both sides on hot setting. Watch your hands though because it gets hot lol

Could you feature some lowfat recipes? Almost everything you demonstrated had loads of cheese. I have lost 30 pounds by eliminating fattening dairy from my daily regimen. Thank you.
I don't think I would have much to offer in the way of typical low fat menus because I don't believe that low far is the way to go. I don't eat dairy anymore also but I eat do high fats like avocado and healthy oils and nuts and seeds. Every so often, I do show some grain free or vegetarian or vegan dishes, but I stay clear of so called "healthy" dishes for the most part because I get cussed out from the "know it alls" and because I'll run out of recipes pretty darn fast. Congrats on your weight loss. I know how hard that is because I've lost 100 lbs about 6 years ago.
+The Bare Pantry Show I don't know it all and I'm not into cussing, but I do know that whole foods from the different food groups are the way to go. Processed foods such as cheeses, boxed food products, condiments, prepared frozen meals and meats, processed meats, etc shouldn't be the basis of any daily diet let alone every meal and should be consumed sparingly. I would love to see a quick and simple meals such as grilled fish tacos with homemade salsa, chicken and veggie stirfry, a fruit-based dessert...at least once in a while. Anybody can throw cheese and canned soups in a baking dish and call it a casserole which are yummy, but it might do some good to share a recipe for baked salmon or fish or roasted veggie sides...just a suggestion from one viewer.You cannot post videos with regards and sensitivity to negative, harsh, brutally honest nor mean-spirited feedback. Dairy and meat are healthy and a big part of most lowcarb diets which lead to some spectacular weight losses. If youre sensitive to dairy, try raw, pastured milk and cheese, yogurt, etc. and heal your gut so you can eat these things.
