You know that thing? You know. The thing with spinach. Where you put like 13 freaking pounds into the pan and once they're all cooked up all you get is a teaspoon of spinach in return.
@@debbiedoodiedandi I've made mac and cheese using milk instead of water. It tends to take longer than just straight boiling the pasta but it comes out a lot creamier and uses less dishes lol. You just have to be careful to keep it to a simmer or the milk will burn at the bottom.
Maybe im a bit late, but i made this dish just an hour ago and wanted to ask if you got a realllllyyy thick sause or was it just creamy? Because mine was really thick but i dont know how that happened. Would you please let me know how to make this dish less thick and more creamy. Thank you in advance..
I tried the creamy pesto pasta (without the pesto my family doesn't like it) IT WAS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i mean it took 2 hours to make it but....... SO WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joachim Wildeboer Probably just how it turned out with the fact that they just shoved it into the oven. These recipes are more geared towards easy food cooking rather than amazing tasting and beautiful. Not that it's terrible, because it's not, you just give up a lot when you simplify something
I love that these varied recipes, which in no way would taste the same, have a lot of ingredients in common (Potatoes, Bell peppers, Onions) it makes grocery shopping so much easier, and if you live alone it's easier not to loose food if you use it in multiple ways, rather than if you bought an ingredient with something specific in mind and end up not using half of it!
I've made a version of the chicken and potatoes and it's delicious. I'd recommend getting rid of the carrots and using various peppers, tossing them all in Italian spices(Basil, Oregano, Rosemary, etc), and putting in a couple of cubes of butter and cloves of garlic.
I would love to see a series of receipts using some of the same ingredients. I always struggle with wasting food because I can't find recipes that call for either all the same ingredients or I have to buy to many other things to meal it work.
Ok so i did the Creamy chicken bacon pesto pasta and the Sausage and peppers pasta today and me and hubby ate the Sausage and peppers pasta and it was dreamy good! I used wheat twist pasta and added some italian blend cheese to the top and it was AMAZING... for the Creamy chicken i added mushrooms and a little italian blend cheese and placed some (without chicken) on the side for some shrimp and then continued on with adding the chicken back in. Cant wait to eat it tomorrw it looks and smells so good...! Thanks tasty, oh and i only used 5 mild italian sausages-i cut them in half, then cut up the halves, we both have 3 bowls full for this week and next (some will be placed in the freezer).
I know I’m not going to cook any of the dishes since I first off don’t know how to cook but I just enjoy watching Tasty’s Videos ❤️ it’s so satisfying ☺️
My family weekly meal: Monday: pasta Tuesday: pasta Wednesday: homemade Mac and cheese with spinach Thursday: Annie shells Friday: pasta Or whatever we can find. My family isn't a sit down to eat as a family family. We're basically scavengers and will sometimes eat cereal as our dinner
Dinner doesn't always have to be dinnerish. Simple things like pizza rolls and microwave lasagna work just as well! I also love hamburger and tuna helpers.
I made the chicken recipe with potatoes and veggies, minus the carrots and with red potatoes and regular chicken breast cut in half. It was so good. It seems simple but with the onion, garlic, and rosemary it really adds a unique flavor! Also, I wouldn’t recommend cooking it for 50 min, it took mine about 36 min!
I've actually made that baked chicken dish at 1:08 Some personal changes I did was I peeled and diced my potatoes and carrots and use white onion instead of red To boost the flavors even more, I sprinkle some chicken bouillon powder all over everything and add extra garlic cloves, tucking some garlic cloves in the chicken or under the skin of the chicken. I'm not a fan of rosemary so I omit it, but this is by far the best one pan baked chicken dishes.
omg this comment made me laugh! reminded me of a song that goes like this" I woke up working like I'm mexican that mean I work from 10 to 10 then 10 to 10 then 10 again" by big sean. LMAO
that first recipe literally made me drool ... and I am using literally properly. I got a droplet of drool on my chest XD I dunno if that means I should worry about a stroke, or if that means it's time for dinner and I'm starving.
In our house we have an agreed upon cooking schedule. Tuesdays happen to be my day to cook. I like to use it to get my culinary freak on, and so was looking for something savory and chicken related that was easy (bc lazy). Turns out, you guys have it already fig out! I'm making the "Tuesday: Oven Roasted Chicken and Veggies" meal rn and it smells amazing! Esp bc I get to sit on my arse for the whole of the cooking process! Thanks Tasty!
I'm starting to see a trend here. Last week Tasty uploaded a roasted potato recipe ripped from Serious Eats. Tiny credits at the bottom of description, but no mention in video. And this one is also ripped? I dont like supporting thieves.
Salt and pepper on chicken is not a seasoning. You're gonna get some roasted veggies, yeah, but salt and pepper only? No, buzzfeed. Get some help. Get some chili flakes.
he ck You do know regardless, of how much spice you put, if the chicken is that plastic garbage you buy in the supermarket, it will always be crap. If the meat is good in itself, regardless of your tastes or spices it will always be good.
Mr Bigknob Why does this have to immediately become a debate about race? We're talking about seasoning chickens what does that have to do with you ethnic insecurities?
3:29 - 4:55 ..................................................................MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMKK now here is my way *Makes Lemon peppered chicken* salt , lemon pepper , garlic , soy sauce , cayenne pepper *puts rice in rice cooker with water* *puts butter in le rice when rice is done* *puts rice on plate then puts lemon peppered chicken on top of rice* BAM BITCHES AM DONE
God vegans are everywhere commenting on a video which obviously has meat just to bash people... What happened to before when everyone was actually commenting on the food itself instead of the meat
Look, i know that a lot of people love cream, cheese and milk... but my god lay down on the bloody dairy products! Not everything has to be drowned in dairy to taste good! Use more spices and more and salt and pepper and less bloody cheese and dairy! Everything on Tasty now adays is butter this, milk that, Parmesan this, milk that... god.
Then don't make it? lmao. But for the rest of us who do like that stuff, these are great. I'd hate to taste any food that doesn't have butter in it, but I'm southern.
