I have a 2021 2.0 T sport and it’s one of the nicest cars I’ve ever been in.… Performance is really strong handling top-notch technology self driving on the highway it’s just a kick ass car it looks bad ass and it’s a Honda I plan on having it the rest of my life
I have a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0 Turbo sport and that is accurate it will beat a lot of Mustangs especially older Mustangs with the 4.6 L V8 and the newer EcoBoost Mustangs I doubt however it will beat newer Mustangs with a V-8 though.
too bad these accords dont come with vtec bud. they have turbos instead....get an 8th gen if you want VTEC these new models have different engines that have turbos...no more naturally aspirated
The only thing these cars are good for is their phenomenal resale value ! I bought one back in 2002 and sold it within a month and got full amount I paid for on a trade. I also bought one last year and sold it after 3 months because it had too many problems with only 300 miles on it, electronics and paint
Did the upgrade the lane keep assist it doesn’t actually work this good I have a 2018 Honda Civic hatchback sport touring, it helps but doesn’t keep in centered especially around turns
From what we have seen the system really depends on the lines being shown on the road. We had issues with poorly maintained roads and the system not picking up faded road lines
The mustang very obviously let the Accord win - literally gave it a head start and didn’t know how to shift gears. It wouldn’t have otherwise, the fastest Accord Sport 2.0 has 252 HP where even the slowest 2.3L EcoBoost mustang has 310 HP.
@@mvgamer9637 thats a pretty bold statement. Its all about tires, my dude.. not all mustangs come with the right tires from the factory to handle all that torque #... Ive achieved 2.1 sec 60ft , and 0-30 in 2.2 sec , which is all about traction... Ive yet to see a fwd pull anything below 2.3-2.4 s 60ft...or even match a 0-30 of 2.2 sec, or below for that matter. In rwd, some of my fellow EB owners, pull 1.8 - 1.9 sec .. -tires - drivers rxn time (soooo very important) -tire psi -road conditions Will all influence, at any given time, who leads in the first few mph of a “street race”...
@@mvgamer9637 by taking the few points I mentioned, though, technically even a 1.5t could beat a EBMustang off the line... just as much as an EB mustang can take a 5.0 off the line
Also reason #6 is the 1.5 Turbo EarthDreams engine... I love the Accord but that is easily the least reliable engine Honda’s ever made. It’s such a shame.
Also slowmobile. Get the 2.0. Cutting mid 13s all day with a plug in tune and wheel/tire swap. Plus with openpilot it does most of the highway miles for me.
The Accord is the drag race with the Mustang was the 1.5T. I know it because the clip that showed you engaging Sport mode also showed a lever style shifter. 2.0T has push button shifters. Not bashing the Accord at all, I own one, but make the vid believable guys.
Yea race was to fake. The 2.0 will play with ecoboosts on an even field though. Even after wheels/tires and tune mine wont gap a ecostang like that, will irritate them when I get em by a easy fender+ though. Trunk gag was funny also.
I used to be a HONDAHOLIC , however my last Honda a 2008 Accord was a perfect 💩💩💩, the list of problems is endless, from burning 1 quarter of oil every 800 miles or less until annoying VTC rattling, etc , etc, etc. Now I drive a ‘13 Camry XLE, 102k , not a single problem , just regular maintenance, by Honda !!!
Well the earth's dreams engine is the main reason and the CVT transmission the reason for the engine is because it's GDI or direct injection which has more problems than port injection
