I 100% agree. Just don’t want to create a false hope narrative. I love what I do and I make great money. But definitely isn’t overnight. And there’s ups and downs so gotta be willing to ride the storm
@@JourneyWithCameron exactly my brother. I've been in the asset and non asset business for 14 years and haven't looked back. It's really provided me with a great life.
@The Cargo Van Man I currently handle expedite and time critical freight throughout North America and also globally via air charters. I also educate and consult people who want to open up their own freight brokerage and work on their own empire so to speak. Been doing this since 2010 and haven't looked back .
Man, life is nothing but ups and downs. Of course work is work. I have a bad lower back but I deliver everyday. Not every package weighs 350 LBS, or anything close to that. The heaviest load I’ve ever had was tires, and the customer helps unload. Not everything is gloom and doom. You don’t have to talk down to people. I love my job. I thrive on customer interaction, and just enjoying life.
I hear you man he was just doing too much and trying to go viral but I can see where’s he’s coming from, what advice do you have for someone who only wants to do cargo van locally no over the road stuff
Bro am thinking of getting myself a Cargo Van also, but I just had cervical surgery and am kinna thinking about some heavy weights, I used to drive a semi-over the road until my surgery.
Ive been a broker for 7 years and recently switched over.... DONT BE SCARED TO GET ON THE PHONE AND PITCH CUSTOMERS.. especially if you're local, you can build a solid partnership.
My insurance is so like 3500$ down 2k per month I'm scared to press the button cus I'm not sure if I can find work to keep up with that insurance what would you say??
This is the easiest money I ever made. 2000 a week...yes, some packages are heavy but that's not a big deal. I make 400 a day and I'm done in 4 to 6 hours. I should have done this years ago
Question: #3 is the only thing stopping me; so, is there maybe another driving business, maybe like some kind of courier business, that would be easier to get into, if the physical part is the only hindrance? Thx
Been doing this since 2012 and i do not agree wiyh you. Been hauling sprinter freight and is forklift on forklift off. Its mostly just driving. Just get on with a broker, it's better. Do not try to book freight on your own, you won't make money. Cant get rich quick, but you can get rich doing it, by building a fleet and hireing drivers.
Ur young. There is money in this. U just don't want people to come in this business. You should try driving a 1to truck with 40 foot trailer. There is the money.
Huh??? Why would I not want people coming into this business? I literally create videos teaching people how to and why and I have a course teaching people how to start. Lol this is just content lettin people know the truth before they get into it. I love what I do and make great money doing it. But I’d be stupid to think anyone can donit
@@JourneyWithCameron I can personally vouch for you lol you actually sent me some drivers sent me an insurance plug and everything lol keep doing your thing cam #bigCam 💯💯
My pops used to be a trucker he just got out of prison and I been thinking about having him drive a van I want to buy. Is that a good idea? I only really care about profiting 500-750 a month myself the rest would go to making forward payments on van and paying my pops 40k salary. Anyone have any insight? Is this a stupid thought?
Yeah bro this is definitely a great business to get into. You could definitely set the structure up like that. I think that’s very doable! I offer consultations and a course if you need any help. linktr.ee/thecargovanman
Serious question is this type of business only booming in the east coast or what lol , don’t seem to see alot of these videos here in the west coast or am I wrong 🤔
Different strokes for different folks… He’s giving 5 reasons not to start one but yet you have one! Stop the cap!!!!! The same 5 reasons don’t apply to everyone or everywhere. I think we know u can’t get rich quick, but it’s very good money, & it’s plenty of money in this industry.
lol people get so mad about this video. Y’all are so weird. Keep it moving if you don’t agree. Also, the money isn’t that great. Especially now. It used to be better but rates have gotten worse than when I started. Good luck!
These points mean nothing to me, all of this can be overcome, and the point about "get rich quick" every penny is getting me to my goals I don't want to be a millionaire I just want a good life that I can indulge in.
In others words, he is talking to people who just don’t want to work 🤷🏽… he could have just said if you don’t want to work, don’t do this to earn a living.🤣🤣
Please dont drive and record. Especially if your holding the camera in your hand. It’s just not a god idea, not safe for ANYONE. Keep your eyes on the road, hands on the wheel and get a tripod dude. Stay safe.
😂😂😂 man all 5 is the same thing lazy lol number 2 you are limited to Dock height shippers and receivers number 3 limited space #4 start that business there is room to grow let it be your gym
Hey what do you think about the contracts where they pay $2.00 a stop for delivering packages ? It’s like working for Amazon but instead your a contractor ? You think it’s legit worth it?
man I just quit that 2.00 per package shit to many fuckin stops 200 stops for $400 a day loading up takes 3-4hrs then you running around for 10-11hrs to wake up & do it again I couldn’t function with life doing that.
