Great video brother...I been using amsoil in all my vehicles and motorcycles a long time now... The gear oil specifically for Harley's has taken away that harsh shifting that Harley's sometimes have... I wish you guys would put a nut on the end of the filter for the Harley's tho....excellent product and I'll continue to use it
Now I know what you're talkin about that is a great design Amsoil recently just upgraded their car filters and their car filters now have a really good coating on them like the Fram filters have that Griffey coding also the new coding actually for texting metal and it makes it a stronger film show won't get penetrated by rocks. Amsoil is continually upgrading their filters and they also came out with a bunch of European car filters for BMW Mercedes in a lot of popular newer cars

My friend used AMR 5w50 and the UOA results at 10.500 km is better than the old MCF 10w40. Both are good oils. Used on Yamaha 135cc liquid cooled wet clutch bike.
@@mohdzaudikhasni8829 10.500 km with amsoil signature series 5w50. Terms and conditions applied. You have to check the oil level, oil drop test regularly at least every 1000km and feel the ride quality should always be good. If one of those criteria doesn't meet the requirements then you have to change the oil.
@@gilang27 got it, just wonder how this oil will work for long periods.. Normally at my country 2000km or 3000km for one month only need to replace it.. If not change the oil engine will running too heavy and fast overheating. Thanks for enlighten me sir.
@@mohdzaudikhasni8829 in my country, mineral oil on wet clutch motorcycle should be good for around 3-4k km. Full synthetic should be good for 6-7k km. On automatic motorcycle, the drain interval period could go around 1-2k km longer compared to wet clutch motorcycle. You can't go wrong with Amsoil. Just a bit pricey for the average motorists.

The standard motorcycle oil is the signature series basically the best of the best with the highest film strength so when you look at that motorcycle oil it actually is good for double the OEM interval with the Amsoil oil filter and it has a much higher film strength so you're pistons cams will last longer you'll also have less vibration more compression less heat less friction less wear and you'll make more power and you'll have a lot less oil consumption. Another product I always like to run with that is the Amsoil quick shot It's a fuel additive and I always recommend grabbing a few bottles of those You can throw them in every hundred idling hours or driving hours and what that does is it keeps your injectors clean so they atomized better fuel mileage more horsepower smoother and also your fuel system will last longer.

sir, ive been using Amsoil Premium Protection 20w50 on my 2016 motorcycle and it's so good and truly it makes my engine cooler even this is only an aircooled engine,..however that zinc on it,, is it safe for my engine and cat.converter?
Probably not...premium protection has friction modifiers and metric motorcycle oil does not due to the wet clutch and transmission reliance on the oil. The premium protection was made for cars where this isn't an issue. You'll probably want to switch to a dedicated motorcycle oil right away. The metric 10-40 is what I'm gonna use I hear great things
While the heavy duty 10w-40 has spec you need on a motorcycle. Zinc if you have a cat will kill it. Your better off removing the cat like 10 years ago. Then you can run it. Zinc in transmissions also acts like a cushion so won’t harm transmission. But Metric does have what you really need. In it.

It would depend on the heat at which it's kept at also if the lid is on and other things but usually a few years is fine as long as the caps on. I wouldn't use any oil older than 5 years in my personal vehicle.

That oil looks like shit! Probably reaks of gas and carbon too. Best thing to do is change your oil often. I run Honda HP4S 10w-30 full synthetic and change it and the filter every 3k miles or sooner. As a mechanic I can't tell you how many engines in have personally torn into that are sludged up boat anchors due to them going 10k miles + on oil changes because they were told they could with their magic synthetic oil. It's a joke!
