Some things to say:- 1) Well, yes Cristiano's retirement is coming sooner but I'd expect him to play for 2-3 years... Although clearly not at a high level now and then. 2)I would say it's GOOD for the sport. His videos coinciding with a big fixture is an effective way of getting rid of plastic fans in a game. 3) Top level footballers do not have a lot of time for RU-vid so they wouldn't even bother doing that till they get bad at their sport (by age or something else) 4)I do think Cristiano will be involved in football business, by that I mean taking a stake at a club. RU-vid actually helps him achieve this sort of ambition. Side note:- Did any of you guys even watch Lionel Messi's videos btw? He also has a RU-vid channel, just a lot older and in Spanish....

What you are essentially saying is that the future generation of players are not good enough to stay away from the distractions (not CR7’s fault)and will get inspired by this sudden bursts of fame which is only sustainable when you have been at the peak as long as Cristiano..As far as the argument of clubs being bigger than the player goes, not all players will stay at the same clubs, the clubs will have changing fortunes but if the player is good enough he will succeed no matter which league or club he plays in..And if somebody has earned it..that’s CR7!!
