I receive dozens on personal messages daily on LinkedIn from SDRs early in their careers asking me how to find more success sooner rather than later. I spent two full years as an SDR, never missing quota, & eventually promoting to my current role as a senior account executive. In today’s video you will learn 5 Reasons Why I Never Missed Quota As SDR and hopefully you can apply some of the lessons in your own role.

1. Rather than wishing you had more pipeline. Why not pick up the phone right now. Rather than waiting to be promoted onto your dream team. Why not set up time with the leader who can influence your career. Rather than hoping your discovery call goes well. Why not study MEDDICCC questions ahead of time in preparation. Proactive daily urgency - reactive passive hoping
2. Speed - airplanes defy gravity bc they are going so fast. You can define rejection by moving so fast that you don’t even worry about it.
3. Consistency - showing up everyday whether you feel like it or not.
4. Push the boundaries - gray area - going deep underwater or outer space

Agreed on consistency. I think one of the biggest challenges salespeople have is they work on emotions and they don't track their activity. They feel like they worked a ton, and if asked say they "probably made like 100 calls" when in reality it was only 20. You absolutely need to track how many calls you've made, and make sure you hit your activity numbers consistently if you want to hit your sales numbers consistently.

I love these points Trent. Idk if I would be considered a sales person but I feel these same principles apply to my smma agency outreach. Because of these videos I stopped BS'ing around and got 3 meetings locked at the end of the week simply because I took massive action, stopped wasting time looking up useless info on prospects, and became consistent.
