Just something absolutely yummy about that horse-y, outdoorsy, yet totally sophisticated Dooney look! The contrast topstitching, the chunky gold hardware, the adorable little feet on the bottom. ❤ Some orher things I love about D&B,,, the ladylike way a Dooney sits up straight instead of slumping over, the fold-down rolled leather handles that last and last through years of wear, and of course the well designed interior of each bag. I always compliment another Dooney sister when we meet, because after all, a quality bag speaks more about her than any other part of her outfit!
I’m 24 and I have loved Dooney & Bourkes for over 10 years! I got my first crossbody at 13! Glad my generation hasn’t realized the quality of them yet 😉Love this video! TFS!❤
Dooney girl here and discovered this in my mid 50's. I only own 7 Dooney's but that is enough because they are work horses that look better as they age! Thank you from this older sophisticated lady! BTW I have one Coach bag my late parents gave me over 20 years ago. She is my vintage bag with sweet memories of my late parents attached.

Dooneys are "work horse" bags for me. I can fill my Dooney with things I probably shouldn't and can sometimes be hard on my bags, these bags are durable, quality bags and lovely!!

I got my doony bag for $35.00 at second hand store with the dustbag!! LOL I didn't even know it was a designer bag, till someone at work told me how much it was worth, more then 8 years ago it was worth more then, $1000.00. Have no idea what its worth today, its a nice dark green alligator, they don't make this one anymore.🐊🐊🐊 I just love this bag❤❤❤.
I am 54 now and have been buying Dooneys since I was 16 and will love them till the end. You have an AMAZING collection and I was fanning myself when you passed the $600 beauty. WOW. I lean more toward the Disney line and the Vintage at this point but some of the new ones catch my eye.
I also have the faux croco large crossbows bags in 4 colors and large pebble leather tote bags in 10 colors to match some of my many other dooney purses. I love them all. I also own most high end luxury name brand expensive bags but you are correct in that the quality of a Dooney leather bags beats the others hands down. I lived this vlog. Girl!!! All I carry is Dooney and Bourke as well. They are THE BEST quality, stay looking beautiful, and so very lady like. We're not walking down the street carrying the same boring bag as everyone else.
I'm really beginning to understand just how much quality Dooney and Bourke is and so I've been adding more and more to my collection. I do like Coach but the quality isn't the same and a lot of times it's a lot more expensive.
Well said! Every now and then, I shop the other so-called high-end bags too, but they just don't look substantial enough, simple yet elegant enough, or well made enough compared to D&B. Dooney's contrasting hand-stitched sewing shows the excellent construction of each bag, and the rolled leather handles give longevity to them! I can always tell by her handbag, whether a woman has real taste!

Oh my Lord, your collection is phenomenal!!! I couldn't agree with your 5 reasons more. I looked at bags at Saks yesterday. For $1150 and up, the bags didn't hold a candle to Dooney quality. Others can have those bags. I'll stick with Dooney. 🌻

I love dooney! My collection isn’t as big but I have a little bit lol! My first Dooney was bought as a gift when I turned 15. My parents paid a lot of money back then. I still have it and I’m 47. For the last 25 years I have only carried Dooney just because of those reasons. Once you carry a Dooney there is no other bag that compares. I have probably 150 and stopped buying but after seeing your collection you have inspired me to buy more. There is nothing I like better than going to my purse closet every day and seeing which one I will carry for the day. The other thing is they never ever go out of style. So you can spend the money because it won't be wasted. I love your collections, especially the blues!

Back when I started carrying D&B around 2000, I bought a push lock over shoulder bag. The long pointy thing that locked into the square lock broke off……..this was 5 years into my carrying it. I contacted D&B. And they sent me a box to return and they replaced that part! For free! I agree, this was the only time I had to use the repair service but definitely A+ service.
these days yes, they aren't trendy to the young bucks no more. But I got my first Dooney bucket shoulder bag in signature print when I was 25 yrs old. It was up there with the Coach hype. The quality has been always impeccable! I am 40 now and just feel the call for collecting Dooney again.... It was one of my first love and I am coming back to it :)
TFS!!!! Yes sis tell it! I'm in my early 40's an I've seen Dooney throughout childhood from my mom to my aunties. So it was obvious to me what my favorite handbag brand was going to be. Dooney has amazing quality bags that last the test of time.💚💚
I see Dooney is made in china, what some don't realize is that a lot of the designer luxury brands are made in China as well. china has people who are trained and can make beautiful items not just the fast fashion things people know about. Your bag collection is lovely.
I love my Dooney's as well. I have the zip zip's on every color in pebble leather and faux ostrich. I also have every color of the top of the line florentine leather satchels.
I haven’t purchased from Dooney since I was a teen in college when they had all the multi color bags. I had them all 😂. When those bags were no longer popular I left the brand. I’m 37 now and just started looking at the brand again. I Love the Alto line. I’ve got about 12 items on my wishlist. Really excited about my little reunion with Dooney.
Your amazing collection helps me to be more at peace with the size of my collection. Every so often I will ask myself if I’m a collector or hoarder. That usually happens when I’m looking for space for the newest bag family member. I recently added two more❤
I see young pre-teens and early teenagers sometimes carrying a small Dooney but more than likely it was a gift from a parent, aunt or grandparent providing her with a ‘good’ first real handbag. But you are correct. Maybe late twenties on up carry Dooney and Burke. I’ve been buying more of them lately. And fellow handbag lover here and might I add, your closet and handbag collection is quite impressive. I really need to figure out more handbag storage options.😕. New to your channel. Hi there! Happened onto your post as I have just recently gotten into Dooney. I usually am a silver person, so didn’t like the gold hardware on them. But the quality is so nice, that I decided to get two zip zip domed satchels from QVC at Christmas. ❤ Just placed my first order on ILD for a shopper, ostrich Lexi crossbody, and a Flynn black pebble leather (for less than half the QVC price). Just wondering where you purchase yours from. I got clearance prices on the ILD site. My hubby overheard your video of your 200+ purses and said “I hope you don’t plan to get that many.” Lol😂 Loved seeing your collection. All beauties.
In Florida Dooney is carried by all ages. My 15 year old owns 3 crossbody dooney’s and a tote. She can’t even resist Dooney and she’s a coach girl. Love your collection! TFS
I’m not sure, but I don’t think so. I’ve had my bags over time and they still look great. Because I have so many, it would be very difficult to keep up with them in storage bags. However, if I had less bags, I would probably keep them in dust bags.

It’s a wonderful thing that their American made some people get so caught up in foreign made products , and they have a hard time getting in touch with the manufacturers, but that’s a wonderful thing Being made in America when people always talking about Italian leather and they going to pay for it too it’s still a cow it’s just over in Italy 🇮🇹 . Now Just letting you know, I am a senior citizen I should’ve said a platinum senior citizen, and I’ve been carrying Dooney and Bourke for me years, the quality to me is still better than the quality of other those overpriced handbags. They still keep their integrity after so many years. The quality is still amazing the bags take a lick and keep on kicking like a Timex watch. I don’t know if you owe enough to know that old commercial, but they last long time with everything being an equal of course if you be an idiot and just do great damage eventually it will wear out but I mean just regular wear and tear on the bag they have a high endurance, while still keeping up with the times, even if they didn’t the quality of the material I totally enjoy even if I get it used the quality is still nice, I’m not always so much in the price of the bag, if I can find one online in the thrift store, I’m cool, because the material no matter what material they use from vinyl, to whatever it’s gonna be made nice, Why pay thousand dollars for a handbag because of a name and it doesn’t stand up with time, My friend a few years ago I mean maybe not a few 30 years ago before my children was born. She paid close to $4000 for a Louis Vuitton. She had to keep taking it back to Nordstrom’s to get it fixed., I didn’t understand why she just didn’t go get her a Dooney and Bourke, but she was so caught up in the brand name that she couldn’t see, and then cry about to have an Italian leather. A cow skin is a cow skin. Whether is in America or in Italy just because the cow is in Italy. Now I have an Italian bag it’s still cowhide, so why doesn’t make a difference what location the animal is in to make the bag better, It’s the making of the bag and that’s why once again I standby Dooney and Bourke. The quality is still amazing. After all these years they still going strong with the quality of their bags no matter what material that they use it could be canvas it could be vinyl or leather is will be made in constructed very well , no matter where I get the bag from from hand down to on sale to thrift store, it still will be made! So that’s why I’m a Dooney and Bourke , Lady have been and will always be I don’t get caught up in all these other handbags they come that are popular and everybody’s buying them spend 4000 $10,000 for them and it’s still leather, I may come the same cowhide unless it’s crocodile or alligator or ostrich or lamb skin and baby lamb skin is even softer, I understand the price is different, but I enjoyed Dooney and Bourke, and always will be, my mom passed away a few months ago, and as I was cleaning out her closet, I found her old school, timeless, leather handbag she never even talked about Dooney and Burke, needless that I say, no one else seem to be concerned about the bag, and no one fault over it, so I just took it, because I knew exactly what it was, it was still intact still beautiful you could tell she didn’t use it that much, but it was still a kickback purse from way back in the day still timeless still a classic and that’s one of the bags I carry with me all the time since she passed I had no idea she had this bag in her closet or I would’ve asked for a long time ago, she had other handbags in her closet, but none of them compared to the quality of this bag , beautiful leather black perfect for any occasion, She also has some coach bags. I got them too, but they don’t impress me as much as a Dooney and Bourke, when I saw that one, I was so happy 😁.. so you are correct Dooney and Burke it’s not the trend right now, but who cares I don’t allow the trend to sway me you see that was Fashion is all about, you embrace it someone else see it and they’ll go. Oh that’s what we’re doing again now and they catch on but even if they didn’t these handbags of priceless., or out of style I like the idea that they still sell well and no matter what the Dooney and Bourke purses are still in the game. They even went through the coronavirus and still came out kicking. The company wasn’t shut down because they still sell extremely well they stand on their own! So I’m a Dooney and Burke lady for life because they stand the test of time in the quality is amazing!! and they’re not a fashion fad and they’re not a gimmick! There are legit timeless classic Purses. They like the old buildings that are landmarks , you can’t touch landmarks once the city approve it as a landmark you can’t touch it you can’t tear it down only if they allow you to because they have stood the test of time there classics, Their landmarks Dooney Burke purses are a landmark timeless!
