Completely disagree with your opinion. The real reason why elevate sale is down is because of people forgot to apply their mind and fall for stupid opinions by RU-vid reviewers for taking decisions 1. Honda elevate is giving the most value for money features when compared with other manufacturers in that segment. For eg: please compare creta so variant with elevate zx both are similarly priced. 2. You mentioned about how ventilated seats are must for Indian conditions.. but you didn’t mention sunroof is not must for indian condition. In my opinion honda should remove sunroof and add some other useful features in the car 3. Even if honda provides an additional variant with higher price the sales won’t increase because ironically for other manufacturers also their sales is high in their mid variant. That means even when all these features are available in top variants indian people are still looking for value for money variants. 3. Regarding noise cancellation- yes its there is a little sound which comes inside because of cost cutting i agree with you. But its not noisy or that loud. You are explaining as if its very loud and noisy .Some people are suggesting nexon / taigun as an alternative which are 3 cylinder engines.. 4. Adas - you didn’t mention about indian condition here!!! Do you know how annoying is adas when you are using it in any other road other than roads like express highways. How many customers are using this feature??? And which competitors is giving adas at this price? 5. This car is one of best in the segment when it comes to ride quality. Very less body roll even when it has segment best ground clearance. 6. Best in terms of space management. This is the most underrated car in the segment.

Completely disagree with your points, panoramic sunroof is not suitable for Indian weather and it comprises safety too. I did couple of long drives around 700km and the comfort is extremely good. I had accord with radder + camera based ADAS, I don’t see much difference, specifically in Indian roads where we don’t have proper lean and people driving like they are in a field. Basically it’s not needed if someone is driving in a city. However, it’s good for highway and sometimes it saves you from unforeseen objects. It happened couple of time for me when a dog or other animal came suddenly in front of my car. It worked all the time. Engine is great, if you are an enthusiast driver, it rave like a tiger when you push it. I am specially enjoining the rave. Mileage is also good, I got around 15 to 17 during long trips and in city it’s around 12-13.

Irrespective of the shortcomings of this car, I am going to buy it as Honda has the best reliable engine and safety options. It has the biggest boot space, Highest ground clearance and most comfortable seats irrespective of ventilated seats not being there.

1. Which car in competition provides ventilated seats,360 camera at 14 lakh. 2. Engine is buttery smooth in cities. Also driven at 160, felt very stable at high speed. 3. Which car in this price point even give a camera based adas. Problems faced in real life- driver seat issue...you struggle to find a comfortable seating position. Thigh support feels less because of alignment of seat. The position of accelerator and brake pedal and dead pedal is also an issue Missing feature- Tpms

One of the first videos that truly covers the genuine problem with the Elevate...great...the rest of them just flaunt brand names like Honda, Honda engine...One thing I must clarify is that you shouldn't compare it with the Honda City...Honda elevate too poor to compare with this A-class sedan city.

I don't agree with you.I have been seeing too many Elevates on roads,so its not a failure But not a big hit too...

Today, I had my second Honda Elevate test drive of the top model, the CVT ZX. However, I must say that it doesn't feel like a true Honda product; it only bears the Honda name. On rough roads, there is excessive cabin noise, especially in the back. The cabin is spacious enough and can be considered the best in its segment. However, the excessive noise is a major issue. The suspension needs significant improvement compared to market competitors like the Creta and Seltos, as well as accelerator noise while pressing the race pedal. I tried both slow and aggressive driving, but the result was the same. I'm not sure if the test drive model I used had specific issues, but I tried two test drives from different dealerships because the overwhelmingly positive reviews intrigued me. I have to wonder why the Creta and Seltos have had such peak sales performance. While I need a family vehicle for the long term, I don't want to rely solely on a brand name. I test drove the Hyryder, Seltos, Creta, Nexon, and Elevate, all in the petrol segment. However, I was disappointed by their price-to-performance ratio. This segment is particularly confusing for buyers in the 15 lakh price range. In my experience, the Grand Vitara is cheap market garbage for such a premium segment of 15-20 lakhs. I'm still confused about what to buy. If anyone has any good experiences with a good vehicle under 15 lakhs in May 2024, please let me know; it would be a great help.

the other points are probably true, but why do you need sunroof and ADAS in indian conditions? moreover, sunroof is something that compromises the safety of the structure.

its about the looks....not the sun roof. most customers buying in this segment go for the mid variant without sun roof. the front looks toooooooooo Flat. who likes flat??....Everyone likes curvy😏😏

Good points and briefing of Honda strategy. I bought Elevate on the name of Honda but the car is not in the competition.

Did you notice the inside of bonnet.. there is a cavity on fender side. They have not sealed the fender. Also metal parts are glued? Sone are not joined with screws or bolts just used sime Gum.

India is a price sensitive market. --->Panaromic Sunroof and ventilated Seats come in high varients. And high varients sales of any car is less. People prefer Base or Mid varients. 1. The main problem has been engine Noise, poor quality of plastics used, and 2. VX varients doesnt give cruise control. You are buying a car that cost 13-14 lakh on Road and it doesnt have cruise control is what piss off the customers. 3. Additionally the Sales excetives of Honda are poor. 4.Another reason may be of a lack of Diesel engine Varient. 5. Low Mileage can also become an issue. Thats why the sales are less.

Moreover Elevate is not comfortable in long drives due to low Thai support and poor ergonomics.
